The Mi Mix has been officially presented, did it meet your expectations will you upgrade to it from your Mi Max ?
Too expensive
Not sure about the ear speaker volume
Easier to break
Camera quality not worth the price paid
Much more delicate and case is almost mandatory
Limited supply so difficult to get a hold of
Also, personally I like my phone's naked so phone feel is important and I'm sure that's reduced via the case on the mi mix. (The case is much more important on the mi mix that Xiaomi includes it with the purchase.)
Mi max doesn't have the best screen edge rejection when touching the screen, based on history, I think I would avoid a Miui based phone with no bezels.

No, screen aspect ratio 17:9 is not good for me (for viewing in landscape mode)
14.37cm × 7.61cm = 109.27cm² Mi Mix (17:9)
14.26cm × 8.02cm = 114.33cm² Mi Max (16:9)

There has been a lot of debate about why LG used the Snapdragon 801 instead of the 805 and initial test prove only a marginal difference for power users, especially the SOC. The GPU on the other hand is more futureproof.
What I want to know is why LG went with last years Sony IMX135 camera sensor instead of the new IMX214 that the OPPO Find 7 and Oneplus One use? Sure we have OIS and laser focus but the improvements the 214 bring are significant enough that average people will notice. Like Reatime HDR in video and less colour crosstalk and the fact that it is slimmer. How much more expensive would it have been to put them in considering that the OF7 and OPO are older devices?
Here is an article about the Mi4 and its sensor http://www.doi-toshin.com/xiaomi-mi4-camera-details-new-sony-sensor-imx214-just-stunning/

then how Lg G3 able to make 4K video now?
in taht table it needs imx214 for that.
Ok I just bought a brand new mi mix 2, can you guys confirm whether the screen is little on the warmer side and whites ar slightly uneven (specially the bottom bit warmer than the upper bit). Is this a flaw? yes I have seen another thread in XDA but I want to hear opinions from all of you who have been using this phone for years or new buyers.
Mine is ok. no problem
Nope, I rarely get this thing to heat up but when it does, it's evenly distributed
My screen color is slightly warmer (yellow-ish), than prevous phone moto z play.
I don't notice uneven colors.
Yes and I don't like it. Is there a way to change it ?
Here is a comparison with a Redmi Note 5 with the same settings. Even in cold mode, it's too warm :

A shop leaked virtually all marketing material concerning the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro.
The sites have already been taken down, BUT we have our dear waybackmachine.
Enjoy.

The Pro page has woke mode engaged, that's for sure. Hardware seems decent, but why on God's green earth did they decide to make the glass curved? That's easily the worst thing about this device.

Damn, here in China I desperately want this phone. currently using pixel 3.
Hi folks,
on my OP9 Pro LinageOS is running and I use the GCam to take fotos. I'm happy with the quality - except for one thing: all camera lenses of the OP9 pro have problems to focus on the object I want to adjust sharply. I must click several times on the object, somtimes more than 4 times to shoot a sharp photo of the object. If I don't the object is blurry. E.G. on the attached photo I clicked 2 times on the cup in order the set the focus on it - but in spite of this the cup is still very blurry. On my former device, a Huawei p20 pro, the focus worked much more better ./. Any idea how I can improve / fix the focus issue ?

Thank in advance.
If I may suggest, you would be better off reporting it on Gcam/LOS thread, Thanks
Testing Setup:

~85% Brightness
On a stable 4G network, wifi off, NFC (accidentally) on
Results: 90Hz

60Hz
I'm kinda surprised it's so close between the two, are Xiaomi kinda bluffing the numbers (refreshing at 90 but drawing at 60) or something? Even GPU load should be more than 5 mins delta. Thats within margin of error. Anyone else tested this?
