Is there a specific zip of Xposed Framework I need to flash instead of the official 86 arm64 because every time I flash it, my phone will sit on the animates logo and never boot.
I tried topjohn's version as well.

I am using official v.86 on OOS 3.2.7 and it is working nicely. I have no idea about CE.

The sad part is that it was working up until I reflashed the twrp by eng. so I could get bluspark to work. I'm not sure if it's recovery, but it's frustrating. Does 3.2.7 have long screenshot?

Not to my knowledge. If it is there, I have not found it.
I'm using 3.5.5-CE firmware with BlackJubel Resurrection Remix ROM from 13.11.2016. Exposed is working and no problems so far. I doubt Exposed has something to do with the Firmware - maybe is incompatibility with the ROM
hey I am first time using xposed framework. I am using oneplus 3 and installed xposed framework v86 and apk v3.1.1.
I installed ++1 calculator module and hit the reboot option
My phone doesn't not reboot fully
It's stuck in boot logo ( two white circles moving around one red circle =
I waited for 40mins but nothing happened
[UPDATED] I flashed v87 and everything is fine now

So, yeah, I want to use some of xposed's tweaks, but I heard it causes bootloop on zenfone. I'll be doing a backup with adb before I try anything, but does it cause a bootloop? And if it does, how can I recover without reflashing ROM?
v79 sdk21 for x86, flashed with TWRP, works just fine with current stock firmware, no bootloop. Older versions will bootloop because of the google monthly security patches.

But what did you do once you were in bootloop.... i flash the entire rom and i took an entire day to download , i was so ****ed up then , i had chills when i was in bootloop (phone was only month old); Is there any easy way to get phone out of bootloop qhen any module is responsible for it?
Same to me, i flash my pre root rom to get back from bootloop.
Most poeple suggest to backup your rom first before install xposed, they say it can restore when u get bootloop.
There is an uninstall zip for bootloops

XPosed is like nuclear power, you can do as much great things with that you can do bad things.
Up to you if xposed is safe.

What Rom are you running? Anything with the latest security patch requires v87
I hope you made a backup, if so I would individually install modules, reboot, and rinse and repeat. Once you find out which module it is, it may not be compatible with your ROM.
Are you running nougat? Bcz xposed causes this issues on nougat and it is still in development.

I am running with Stock Rom oxygen os
So the problem is after installing Xposed framework when i download the modules like gravity box or like youtube background playback or simple modules like youtube adaway it gets downloaded successfully
but as we all know that any module truely installs and runs after reboot
so when i reboot
it gets stuck on the two dots rolling screen

Well what i used to do is install xposed, make a backup. then load up one at a time. Yes its going to be time consuming but the only way to truly find which ones are clashing with each other is taking the time to make multiple back ups. I have 3 on mine using RR, one without root, one with root, and one that i usually backup once a week, and delete the prior one. It's time consuming but this is the only way to stay away from a paperweight phone.
I was trying to get help on Reddit but I wasn't able to get any help.
I was able to find the Twrp image to Boot into but Magisk isn't installing when I go to try to install it.
I'm using 13.4 for my pixel XL and I tried 13.3
Any ideas why they aren't working? No errors in Twrp when installing.

Hello,
Not sure if Magisk is even working on O but you would want to flash a kernel like ElementalX first or the modified stock. Flash the kernel, then Magisk but again I am not sure if it is actually working yet. If you do get it installed and working be sure to report back to all. Also if you had SU + SUhide prior then you will want to flash the Magisk remover first, then kernel then Magisk.
Cheers

Yup. Just verified it doesn't work. I booted into twrp, installed ElementalX, then Magisk 13.4 and rebooted, still doesn't work.
Then I booted into twrp, installed ElementalX and Magisk 13.3 and rebooted. Nothing.
I also installed TWRP RC2 and it works fine. If you want I can upload the bootable image for twrp and RC2 that I used. At least now I have a way of testing it out (well, to keep testing it out, when I'm at work).

Correct
I'm using a 6p with a pixel on the way. I had it working on the 6p with Oreo. I'm pretty sure I had to download an apk as well as flash the zip. Have you done this?
the pixel has a special magisk version because of boot a/b system stuff from my understanding. So it doesn't matter if it works on any other google phone.
It sucks too because i heavily rely on magisk due to how good it is on hiding...goodwin_c is my only hope. hanging on a thread here...
If you mention other root hiding methods just know that no...they all suck lol

What Zizzy2020 said. It is annoying. I can't wait for the next magisk to be released.
Check out this post, it works like a charm.
Managed to install it on OP3T but it won't work on OP3
Here is what i am doing, please correct me if i am doing anything wrong
Cleaning Super User from Updated UnSU.zip which works fine. Flashing Stock Boot.img (OK)
Flashing Magisk 14.3 (OK)
reboot and Stuck on oneplus logo
Doing it all again and flashing Magisk 14.5 and again Bootloop.

Good to know?

Use the uninstaller and completely remove Magisk: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4339479&d=1511372903
Then install the v14.5(1456) beta: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4340290&d=1511453617
Working fine here with OOS 5.0

Thanks for helping me, i tried Blu spark and magisk from your link, i'm getting bootloop again, No luck
for me - coming from a custom lineage 7.1.2 rom - it worked the following way (but it completely formatted the phone due to an encryption issue)
- flash blu spark TWRP for Oreo
- wipe system, data, cache, dalvik
- flash OB27 ROM
- flash blu spark again
- reboot to recovery
- flash magisk 14.3
Are you having a boot loop (phone reboots again and again) or is it booting up forever with the boot logo on the screen? you are describing both in your post.
I'm using 14.5 and ask works great here on OP27 Oreo was using 14.3 and that all worked great too and did nothing special part from install
Ok, i have the same problem, I am on OB28 and working SU root. i want to change to magisk, so I completely unrootet the phone and tried to flash magisk via newest twrp. But it stuck at bootlogo. do I really have to flash for magisk the twrp.enkgst? will it work then?
OK, solved, flashed spark twrp flashed magisk uninstaller, flashed magisk 14.5 I'm fine
i've been trying for 2 whole days now to install viper4android on my oneplus 9 pro, i just can't get it to install. I'm basically stuck in an install loop and i've tried almost everything (permissive, AML, clean install, v4a repackaged, android 12 fix) but none of them work.
I wonder if anyone got viper working on their device running a custom android 12 rom
Take a look:

tried that too and just now tried it on just stock lineage os on A11 but still no luck nstalling v4a
This method worked for me in several custom ROMs in A12 and A12, bit just following the steps exactly and rebooting in every step (and you have to activate legacy mode).

i did follow every step with the reboots after each module but i'm still stuck in an install loop so i cant even get to the settings unfortunately... i've never had so much trouble with a device
Uninstall all the modules, try the procedure again with these files. I tried with other and got driver loop as you did, but it worked with these.

So install magisk, reboot, AML, reboot, JamesDSP, reboot, V4A, install drivers and let it reboot? kernel can stay in enforcing?
After last reboot, you have to substitute the fs file as stated in the other thread, reboot again and set legacy mode.
I am in enforced kernel, yes.

You have to replace this file in /data/adb/modules/Viper4AndroidFX and reboot. About JamesDSP I don't really use it so I disabled the app, although I have to do it in every reboot
