I wonder how it will fare against competition in 6GB ram range. Also what about battery life and screen quality ?

I am very happy because I have a opportunity to review a really cool smartphone Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3. As you may know Gigabyte is most popular in computer world. They decided that they want bigger piece of pie in the mobile market so because of that they are working hard. And lately we can see better and better devices from Gigabyte GSmart. Stay here and see how good is Mika M3.
Design
I must admit that this device reminds me of several others devices. For example Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 reminds me of Sony Xperia Z series. I must say also that I like this kind of design with flat surfaces. So in my opinion design is very elegant and cool and I think that most of you will like it. Talking about build quality the Mika M3 is completely made of plastic where the front side is black with small part of gray. So the back cover and edges are dark purple. About build construction there is one new thing because it has a key or button for taking photos. This is really smart move from Gigabyte. In overall the design is very cool and build quality is also high.
Display
They noticed that lately we can see that many new smartphones come with larger displays. But it is often not practical because of the size of the device. I see that many people would love to see smaller smartphones and because of that Gigabyte produced Mika M3 device which has screen with ideally size of 5 inch. This screen is IPS with HD resolution or to be precise it has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. I can say that I am pleasantly surprised because display on Mika M3 is crystal clear. Believe me you will love it also because the screen is sharp and display is pleasing the eye. The only drawback is because it has no screen protection but I think for this price range there are only few devices with this kind of protection.
Performance
Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 is mid range smartphone and it is based on Mediatek MT6582 chipset. This is quad core CPU at speed of 1.3 GHz and it has installed 1 GB of RAM with 8 GB for storage space. For storage you can update your space with microSD card up to 32 GB. For graphics operations we have Mali-400MP2 GPU. As you can see this is medium strong hardware which will be in 99.9% enough for every purpose. So you will be able to do anything you want including playing games. I have personally tried many apps and every opposition worked like a charm. So you don't need to worry about it and if you want you can see below screenshots from several benchmark tests.
Software
You may already noticed that every new smartphone and some older ones have installed or been updated to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. So Gigabyte also follows the trend and logically Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 comes out of box with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. I noticed that operating system is partially customised but most is stock. The UI is very fast and fluid thanks to good optimisation. Until now I did not find any problems with OS.
Connectivity and GPS
As you may already know many Chinese devices or smartphones does not support frequency 900MHz which is very important for Europe. Because many mobile phone companies still use these frequencies in smaller places and other areas. So I can say again that Gigabyte has made a smart move because Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 completely supports 3G network. It supports WCDMA 900/2100MHz. I have also tested the GPS with GPS test application and GPS worked as it should to work with out any help. So you don't need to do any modifications for the GPS. I am telling you this because many Chinese phones have problems with GPS but not this one.
Camera
In this price range photo quality is mostly poor. So to be honest I did not expect something special from GSmart Mika M3. But I was wrong because photo quality is really good, photos are sharp enough and colours are almost natural. I can say that I'm pleasantly surprised with Mika M3. As technical information it has 13 megapixel main camera with led flash. It has all standard functions like geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection. Also you can see below photo examples made by this device.
Battery
Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 has Li on battery with capacity of 1900mAh according to the manufacturer. After testing I can say that with above average use it gives autonomy of one and half day. For this kind of device it is pretty good.
Pricing and conclusion
I can say that I am pleasantly surprised with Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3. Because it is very hard to find good quality smartphone in this price range. It has high build quality, elegant design and excellent screen. But I am also surprised with good quality camera and strong battery. So I think if you decide to buy this device you will be very happy with it. Price is about $190 and for more information you can visit official website.
Would you say that the Honor 5C is "fast" in day-to-day use? A higher rating indicates that you think the Honor 5C exhibits fantastic performance. Like, is it as fast as your tears when you watch The Titanic?
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
its really good.
its aight
kirin is going a job pretty good.
Just nice. Lags after 1 day.
if I compare to 2 GB RAM of Honor 5X, then surely it does better than that. Kirin is good with power saving as well. not much of lag here and free RAM on EMUI 5.0 is somewhat around 800+ MB most of the time.

Indeed bro..ram management is way better than 5x..
Still a better midrange for today.
Hello people, hope you have a great day!!!
So the Moto e5 plus is a budget device as you may know. It has a snapdragon 425 (International) or 435 (USA) and from 2gb(international) to 3gb(USA) of RAM. Internal storage is 32gb and has expandable storage. The screen is a 720p HD+ display with a 18:9 aspect ratio and rounded corners, the phone is also made of glossy plastic. It has a single front firing speaker that doubles as a speaker for calls. The battery is a massive 5,000mah capacity one. Lastly, it runs Android 8.0 (Motorola comfirmed it isn't getting android P tho, but it will still get the security patches).
Ok now for the pros and cons of the phone:
Pros:
1. The 18:9 aspect ratio on a phone like this is amazing, not all budget phones offer such a great feature.
2. The performance in the 435 variant is pretty outstanding. Of course, it isn't meant for gaming so it will suffer a bit from that but the application loading times and everything else feels pretty good for a phone like this (honest opinion, it runs most of the apps better than my S7 XD)
3. The stock Android experience combined with the 3GB of RAM makes the phone multitask like a boss!!! Never had refreshes with 6 to 7 apps open including a game.
4. THE BATTERY is MASSIVE. 5,000 mah can give you up to 3 days of light usage (up to 2 days with heavier usage).
Cons:
1. The screen is 720p, so in terms of screen resolution it isn't good, but it has good color accuracy, however, due to the low pixel density you may not find it that great. Viewing angles also suffer a bit but that's to be expected.
2. The phone isn't getting Android P which is disappointing. Even the G6 play with the 425 will get android P so in terms of performance this would run it better. But oh well, Motorola doesn't like updating software for the E series I guess!!
3. The price of it can be expensive in the USA, cricket sells it cheap, T mobile sells it moderately overpriced and sprint way too overpriced.
4. The glossy plastic build can get scratched easily and it also doesn't feel premium by any means!!!
If you own an e5 plus tell me your review of it too in the coments section!!!!
That's all that I can tell, I didn't put camera pros and cons due to that being more of a personal preference and we already know what we deal with budget phone cameras so. If you still want the camera review let me a comment in the thread.
what is g960f average sot
Maximum is 5h30 (SOT) in my case.
I suggest you dont buy this one and go on other brand. This one is a S8 rebranded and dont justify his price.

Even if it has a similar design as the S8, but it's faster, it has one more major update, it has better speakers, better camera, intelligent scan, better design with less bezels and more convenient fingerprint sensor placement... So it's a very good phone, especially that you can find it for a much cheaper price, it's totally worth it.
3 hr of sot (max for me) with simple tasks like insta fb etc
4-6 hours SOT, depending on the use with LightRom, Android 9
With discounts and other bits both are almost at the same price so is it better to go with the s9 or get an a80
Pros for the s9 well it's a flagship
Pros for the a80 it's a newer device so maybe more updates down the line Will it be the same?
And coming to cons for me it's too heavy and big
So what do you guys think is it better to get the a80 or the s9 will the s9 be good for another 2-3years or better to get a a80?
It will be primarily used by my mom so don't really care much about gaming and all
Thanks in advance guys
A80:
-newer device (longer support)
-has bigger display
-has bigger battery
-has better camera
-has double the storage memory of S9
-has double the RAM memory of S9
S9:
-it WAS compact flagship in 2018
-small display
-mediocre camera
-****ING TERRIBLE USELESS battery
-only 4GB of RAM, can't keep more than 3 apps in memory
I don't see point why somebody should buy S9 today. Back then it wasn't such a powerhouse either. Battery sucked since the day 1 and 4GB of RAM is pretty underwhelming. Everytime I open reddit, the app reloads and I always need to scroll through memes I've already seen -.- CPU on S9 might be better, but that means nothing when you can barely push 3.5 hours of screen time with light tasks on this ****ty battery.
Buy her A80. Hell, buy me A80 and I send my S9 to your mom, hope that helped
just get the a80 since it is newer than the s9. i think having a bigger screen would be nice, since alot of parents out there having problem with reading a small text on their phone. but if yours not, then s9 is okay.
keep in mind that s9 is only 5.8 inch which is small compared to the other phone out there, also it only has 4gb of ram and only 3000mah battery which is sucks. in my usage with the stock rom the battery life only last for like a half day, I don't game in my phone and the performance is not smooth anymore, even tho i did the factory reset from the recovery
I think the galaxy A71 is a better buy overall.
At the same price, or maybe cheaper, you get 1 extra year of software support, better main and ultrawide cameras, and better battery life.
Screen resolution and quality are identical except that the A71 has a punch hole, and the performance is almost the same (Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G in the A80 vs 730 in the A71).
You only miss out on the glass/metal build, but since the A80 has a motorized camera, there are some durability concerns, so I think a plastic build will be more durable and practical especially that it will be used primarily by your Mom.
