Dual Sim Quick Setting Tiles - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hello Friends. Hope you all are doing fine.
Is there anybody who can guide me for getting the quicksetting tile for the second sim in the notification panel? I set up a new sim in the SIM 1 slot and shifted the sim for calls and sms in SIM 2 slot. Earlier used to get 2 quicksetting tiles in the notification panels for both sims. Now getting only one. If anybody has a solution for this, please share.
Please help.
P.S. I couldnt find it in the quicksetting edit menu too.

Did you try to activate the tile?
Its the pen icon under the blue user icon in the top right.

Yes. But I can see only one tile over there. It seems OP3 doesnt have that feature in stock.

[App request] Open notifications on proximity-detection

I just read the Wave Control Theme and had some very useful idea:
I often have meetings where I can lay my phone onto the desk, but it wouldn't be very kind to touch it to read notifcations.
If the phone would, by waving over the proximity-sersor, wake up and show the notifications, that would be awesome!
The algorithm could be: If phone lies with it's screen up, is't in a pocket (= no proximity detected) and there are unread notifications then switch on screen and open notifications when proximity is detected.

Disabling LED with aokp JellyBean

It's getting confusing for me...
I want to disable the 'Default' notification LED or even completely disable the LED but my Display settings (disable LED completely) are not saved or accepted.
Within Rom Control I can't delete the default profile at all and I can't change the settings so it does simply not work for the default profile.
How can I get rid of each email triggers the LED to lighten but it's disgusting with the big amount of emails I get...

menu/settings/display/pulse notification light.
good day.
I did this but it's reset to 'on' each time a notification arrives... This is why I am confused

Lockscreen notifications
Hello,
I'm new at your forum - sorry for my English, I'm from Poland.
I'm very close to buy this phone.
Very important to me is how notifications on lockscreen look like. For example on Samsung Galaxy S4 Touchwiz you see everything when you just press the power button. You see sms and missed call with person name on it. For my job is essential. How does it look like on Huawei stock Emotion? I mean is it something more than "sms symbol with number"?
Could you send me some screenshots of this (Missed calls and sms info)?
Thanks in advance.
No multi users and no widgets on lockscreen, what good it is to have Android 4.2 then
Emui.......

Huawei Emui is so bad, it hide many features of 4.2.2.
Just wait for the CM10.1, it can solve many problems.
I know that UI Emotion isn't great but could you send me some screenshots of lockscreen when you have missed calls and sms info? How does it look like on Huawei?

One missed call. Does not show who called. With pattern unlock theres only an icon in notification bar. Music player widget shows up on pattern unlock though.

Thank u 4 help and scshot.
Now I don't know if I'll buy it. Notifications are important to me - instead of that I have to wake up my phone many many times during the day.
How about LED notifications? Is this feature works normally? I saw on YT videos that this LED indicator on the front is quite small. How does it look in real? Is it only one colour or u can adjust colour for example for SMS or e-mail notification of LED light.
Question is also if u can use NOLED app and NiLS Notifications Lock Screen - could u check if NiLS will work 4 u? (will it show who called?)
Notification LED is bright enough. possible colors are yellow/orange green and red.

....except that the LED isn't a notification LED - it's just a status LED which shows red/yellow/green when charging. As far as I know it can't be used as a notification LED. I've posted a question on the official Huawei support site but I've got reply as yet. I don't see why it can't be used as a notification LED, surely just a software thing. I've downloaded a few 'notification LED' type apps from google play, but none of them can activate the LED. Maybe something that the developers can include in future firmware updates.....?
It works fine for me for notifications ! Definitely a notification led !

1. Is LED notifications feature works or not? I see 2 versions.... Can anyone tell how does it look like on your Huawei?
2. Does app NiLS Notifications Lock Screen works on huawei?
My LED certainly flashes after a text message (SMS) or missed 'phone call. It has worked for me since the original 105 firmware.
You can only disable the Huawei lockscreen and keep the pattern lock mode in the new rom versions, keep that in mind

Thank u guys for this info about LED notification.
Could u tell me will app NiLS Notifications Lock Screen work on huawei or not?
For me crucial thing is to have info notification when I press the unlock key directly on the screen (e.g. Missed Call John). What is the way to do that on Huawei? This feature is perfect on Samsung Touch Wiz but I don't want Samsung because of this plastic look and feel.

Gestures / Front-Cover

Hi,
I switched from an iPad Air to the Pixel C and I am really happy with it except from two things.
Using an iPad I somehow got used to using a lot of gestures:
-Two finger zoom gesture on videos to make them go fullscreen
-5 finger pinch gesture to exit to homescreen
-4 finger swipe up to show multitasking
-4 finger swipe left/right to switch to previous/next multitasking app
And I am really, really missing this. It's the only thing I would love to see on the Pixel C.
Does anybody know how this can be added?
The other thing I miss, is an only-front cover. I know that a small part of the back is magnetic and so they COULD create a semi-only-front-cover. But sadly I didn't found any...
You can try the Nova Launcher for some gestures. In PlayStore / xposed framework you can find other gesture apps.
For the cover: believe me... We're all searching for a only front-cover too

Yeah, that is SO true! I want that front-only cover that can fold into a stand. I have a ProCase, and although it's a great case, I don't appreciate adding even more weight to a tablet that's already rather heavy.

I know the Nova Launcher, but as far as I know, it just supports gestures on the homescreen. Also I currently like the google launcher.
BUT I just found a root app which I will try at the weekend.
...Unfortunately I think there is no solution for the pinch at video gesture because of the way android works (but I could be wrong though)

One of the few things about Apple devices that make me jealous. They get so many accessories!!!

Well at the end it´s player related. The MX Player has pinch gesture support. Take a look in Playstore

That's what I thought. On iOS they have only one player which plays every video, don't matter where. This is pretty neat.
(Or does MX player also override everything ?)

That drives me crazy too (worried about screen burn in). The only way is to disable fingerprint login.

My idea is to keep it. I saw some note10 with the option to remove that icon and others without. Maybe firm version :/

There is a setting but I don't remember where it is. I turned off fingerprint because where I work I tend to get cuts on my fingertips from time to time(not deep but enough to make all fingerprint stop working for a few days).
If you root and delve deep into /system/priv-apps there is biometricsetting.apk and aodservice_v50.apk within these there is the fingerprint icons. You can replace these with blank png's converted to webp and have zero fp icon. I havent done this but I managed to change the icon to something else, and the ripple effect is changeable too
Good luck
Or, just go into setting>biometrics and security>fingerprints and just select the option to turn it off.
