I know there are minor improvements in the new DD View 2017 but i found the older version with a good offer. Will it work with my Pixel 2 XL ?

yep, I used that exact setup this weekend without any problems:good:
I am interested in mobile film making and recently bought a Google pixel 2 xl . What couldn't find is an anamorphic lens adapter compatible with the device like the moondog 1.33x for the Apple I phone devices. I want to know if there's any such device for the Google pixel 2 xl. There are videos with pixel 2 using the same adapter but without much technical deltas.

I only know the Moment one will work when it comes out.

Should I be doing this swap?
Did anybody do the same?
I like pixel's smoothness and animations but I can't say that I am not satisfied with Samsung. It's a solid device with very nice screen, camera and stereo speakers.
It is only that there is a one month old pixel available and I am tempted.
Still enjoy stock Android that's why I am using my Nexus sometimes

Unless it's a super great deal or you really hate the notch, I would wait for the Pixel 3 XL. I always get phones within the 1st month release to enjoy the lastest and greatest for as long as possible. The Pixel 2 XL about to hit 1 year and is a step backwards from the S9 in terms of specs too.

I have swaped from s9 to oneplus 6 than to Pixel 2xl ,Thats The best choice i have done
I'm happy with Pixel 2 XL just because I get updates faster and because I absolutely love stock Android. For the rest, Pixel 2 XL costs too much for what it offers. Not a great audio, not great battery management, display has black crush (and it's not even HDR), the package lacks of USB to connect to a computer and so on. I'd stick to S9 Plus unless I'd prefer stock Android (maybe you can root and install a ROM?).
Pixel 2 XL does better photos
The P2XL camera is phenomenal...

Besides if that, i had the s9 plus before the Pixel 2 XL camera is better on Pixel same as software and updates..
S9+ has a very good display better battery life micro SD port...
Pixel 2 XL for sure. I switched from an iPhone 7 Plus and wish I would've done so last year when the 2 XL came out. Pure Android is so nice without all the Samsung crap.

Does anyone know if the above configuration would work OK, or would I have balancing problems?
I already have a Smooth 4 and am currently looking for a new phone. Now that Google supports external microphones on their Pixel series, I'm considering buying the Pixel 2 XL.
Any help or advice would be welcome!
Who is buying the "4a XL" because of the bigger display?
I am.
Will be upgrading from a OnePlus 6t, CPU performance is similar between the SD845 and SD765G.

Phone size comparison with the Pixel 4a: https://j.mp/2QFNDtU
The Pixel 4a looks really small compared to the OP 6T!

It does, but this is the forum for the 4a 5G which is similar in size to the OnePlus 5:

I'll be upgrading my PIxel 3a XL to this 4a 5G. I haven't had a daily driver phone for this long in forever so I'm ready for an upgrade.

Thanks for the link. I had to add the 4a, because the 4a 5G is not yet in their database.
I am returning the 4a and getting the 4a 5G
So, I've been holding off on getting a new phone for a long time. I said to myself that I wouldn't buy another phone until a decent sized 5G phone comes out that's not $1000 or more. I've been using the Nexus 6P since I bought it when it was released . The day It arrived in the mail I unlocked it, rooted it and started flashing all sorts of roms and mods until the last Resurrection Remix was released on Oreo and have hung with it since, going through 4 batteries, 3 displays, 2 charging ports and 1 fingerprint sensor. I picked up one inexpensive tablet in the meantime to entertain myself but have finally been able to order the new Google Pixel 4a 5G which should arrive around November 20th. It's going to be a huge difference in specs between the two devices and although from what I understand the software in the Pixel 4a 5G is really good, I'm definitely looking forward to getting the latest Resurrection Remix rom when it's available. I hear it's available for the Pixel 4a and it's excellent. Anyone else waiting to get their hands on this device to start running custom roms and modifying the crap out of it?

Hilarious that I read this, the 6P is still my all time favorite phone, hands down. The size, thin-ness (is that a word) and just overall loved the 6P more than anything. I just got my 4a 5G this week and need to activate it. I did find out today it won't fully work in the VZM 5G UWB band.... which is a bummer, but oh well.
I need to dust off my 6P and update it, just for the memories.

I really liked the 6P myself. Wish I didn't crack the digitizer on it or I'd still use it as a backup. I have my original galaxy nexus as well. That was a good phone back in the day but I didn't realize just how slow it is until I fired it up about 6 months ago. First phone I ever unlocked and rooted. What a great phone the 4a 5G has been so far, I don't have any complaints about it. As far as I know there's no custom recovery for it yet so I'm still holding off on rooting it. There's not a lot of mods and only one custom ROM but I'm sure there are people working on it. Get yours activated, you'll like it.

Bought 4a 5g for the price, and battery life, same camera as pixel apparently

I would prefere the compacter size of the Pixel 5, but the 'under-display' speaker is a no-go for me. I will wait for the 5a! ;-) My 4a5G is still in it's unopened box, since my Pixel 2 is running official LineageOS with current security updates and does all I want.
