Stuck booting into TWRP - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, relatively new here.
To start of I wouldn't say that I'm a complete noob when it come to this sort of stuff but I'm at a bit of a loss here.
To sum up my issue real quick;
My Galaxy Tab 3 SM-t210r running 4.1.2 stock that I rooted a while back started acting strange. Google services begun to unexpectedly shut off or stop working and I was getting annoying os popups so I decided to install a new custom, debloated rom.
After a few quick google searched ended up downloading StockROM-Ultimate Edition for the t210r.
Launched into TWRP 2.8.0.0 recovery, did a wipe and installed said zip of rom.
Now the issue that arose here is that I can't seem to boot into the os at all. Upon restarting or powering off and on I am greeted with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 splash screen, it hangs there for about 10-20 seconds, reboots(screen goes black?) that same splash screen shows up and I'm booted back into TWRP.
After countless googles searches I decided to unroot and go back to stock FW.
I've found the correct 4.1.2 stock rom on sammobile. Opened up Odin 3.07 and flashed. Everything goes good, Odin says RESET, tablet reboots, same two Samsung Galaxy screens and I'm back into TWRP. Odin indicating PASS! after a few seconds in twrp. Whether I reset to factory setting in TWRP or not, after flash, I'm always ending up in TWRP with the os never booting.
tldr; stuck in TWRP boot loop after custom rom and even stock rom flash.
Any assistance would be great
-Dan

[Q] S3 - Bricked [no recovery, sits at s3 load screen]

Still a bit of noob here - but here's what happened:
I was running clean bean 4.2, then I successfully installed the MK3 baseband w/o any problems. I found that the wifi was broken so I flashed the wifi fix from (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541900).
Once that flashed ok my system tried to reboot and then proceeded to sit at the samsung loading screen. After 10+ mins I hard pulled the battery and was able to get into twrp and tried a restore backup from before any changes today. Once that finished it rebooted and is still sitting at s3 load screen.
Now when I try to get into recovery nothing happens.
Powering of and on remains sitting at the s3 load screen.
Any help would be appreciated.
Update: Ok not all hope is lost - I can get back into recovery, but restore while successful refuses to load past the s3 screen.
I'm a bit at loss now what to do - would factory resetting it do the trick?
Update 2: Tried a factory reset and still nothing - still sits at the s3 load screen.
Ok - I got a rom manually back on the sd card and reflashed a base rom.
Phone boots back into android. :good:
I have learned my lesson.
Yes, lesson is do not flash zips made for stock touchwiz when you are on AOSP, or vice versa.

Stuck at Samsung splash screen.

Hi,
I recently tried installing the new 4.3 update onto my Samsung Galaxy S3 I747. Also, I never rooted my phone and my carrier is Telus if that matters.
When my phone finished updating, it lead to the lock screen. Just as I was about to enter my pin and unlock it, the phone restarts and gets stuck on the Samsung splash screen. I have tried entering into recovery mode and then wiping the cache and restarting it, but no luck.
I do not wish to restore my phone back to factory settings because I do not want to lose my music and apps. Is there a solution that can fix it without wiping the memory?
Thanks.
edit: i left it charging for a few minutes while it was stuck on the samsung splash screen, and then it went to the lockscreen and restarted it self
... i have to wait five minutes before i can save my edit
editedit: it just went to lockscreen for a second again
editeditedit: its going back to lockscreen quite often and restarting it self

When you got it into recovery did you try to wipe data/factory reset??
But to be honest it sounds like your phone is soft bricked maybe. I'm experiencing the almost same problem with my AT&T sgh-i747. Mine is stuck at the Samsung Galaxy S III screen and doesn't go any further than that at all.
You will most likely have to do that same thing I am doing which is reflashing android 4.3 via odin. It may work for you, I'm pretty sure it'll work for mine. Head over here and read this thread and see if this can help if not let me know and we'll come up with somethin else to help you fix your phone. (If I'm correct following this thread and flashing via odin will not erase and of your data.)
Your only other real option is to install the 4.3 MJ2 leak via heimdall. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2496425
Heimdall will flash odin files. http://glassechidna.com.au/heimdall But odin will not flash heimdall files. It works much like odin flash in download mode so i'm told. I'm trying to figure it out now. I hope this helps.
I was never able to get the above Heimdall installed correctly on my pc. I am still stuck at the black and white galaxy s3 screen. I installed TWRP via odin to try my to run my nandroid i made earlier today and it says successful. But when I go to reboot It says No OS are you sure you want to reboot. I was already on 4.3.3 via the OTA update like you. And now i'm here turn phone on and it's going straight to download mode

Stuck on boot screen even after factory reset

Hi,
My Android (Samsung Galaxy Fame Gt S6810P) stuck on start up boot screen. This is a rooted device with custom rom (xperia) was working properly. Recently I installed a custom boot animation. At beginning boot animation was playing continuously and after 2-3 restarts it was ok. I didn't restart after that. Now I restarted it yesterday, It stuck on again and even after 10 times restarts did not help. So I boot into recovery mode and tried everything including factory reset but no hope. When rebooting after factory reset it was showing some error like "no root access".
And when I reboot again stuck!! Please help me out...
Wrong forum, this is I9100 Q&A; your device has its own Q&A here. I've asked mods to move your thread, sit tight until they do.
did you have nandroid backup if yes use it..else try flashing stock firmware via odin
hey..
u can also use samsung kies for ..this issue.....

[Q] Can't install fresh ROM

Hi folks,
I'd appreciate some assistance in identifying the problem with my sm-p605. The color balance (RGB) on it went all bonkers. Red was alright, but the green and blue were almost completely faded. When I booted into download mode the colors were right, so I figured it's gotta be a software problem. I tried re-installing the firmware, first through Kies, but it got disconnected in the process, so I found stock firmware on sammobile and flashed it with Odin with a PASS. After that, the device would get stuck in a boot loop with "recovery booting....." written in the top left corner whether I tried to boot it normally or in recovery mode. But the download mode still worked so I tried flashing a custom recovery. I don't know if a device needs to be priorly rooted for that, but I flashed CF Auto Root and TWRP both with a PASS. After that, the device still wouldn't boot into recovery mode. It would say "recovery is not seandroid enforced". I tried several supposedly compatible versions of the recovery with the same result. But now it does boot normally into the OS except none of the things I flashed stuck. It's still the same non altered system it was before I did anything with it, even though I re-installed stock firmware twice now, second time even with Kies. So what's going on?
I took a screenshot of the app drawer after all this, and the colors are alright when viewed on a computer screen, so it might be a hardware issue after all, although I don't have a definite conclusion since capturing and displaying aren't the same part of the OS. There are other issues with it being non responsive when I'm trying to wake it up. I still want a fresh ROM so I can know for sure and I'm not able to install one, be it custom or stock. Any ideas?
I'll try to be clearer. Current ROM I have is stock 4.4.2, but it's barely usable, so I wan't a fresh one. I cannot get into recovery mode. If I flash stock firmware, I cannot boot into either the OS or recovery. If I flash custom recovery on top of that I still can't boot into it, but I can boot into the OS, which reverts itself like I never flashed fresh stock. So I'm stuck with what seems to be a corrupt OS with no way of installing a new one. Is there something I can try?
If you can flash a custom recovery. Boot into it and try factory reset. Either that or try a custom ROM if any are available (font have tablet)
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Free mobile app
Factory reset was the first thing I tried, I wish it had been that simple. I can flash a custom recovery, but I can't boot into it. The only thing it acomplishes is breaking the bootloop from stock recovery, so I can boot back into the OS, which stays the same no matter if I flashed new stock (it boots up already user configured). To install custom ROM I need custom recovery, unless there are some methods of installing that don't require flashing from storage.

Not your Usual Boot Loop

Hi Guys hoping someone can help me out.
One of my friends who should know better decided to try and flash a custom rom to his N7105 trouble is he used a n7100 twrp which apparently installed and then tried to flash a n7100 rom .
Now his phone is stuck in a boot loop, it sometimes gets as far as the animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing depending on what I last did to it lol. I can get into both download and recovery and the power button isn't stuck.
I don't know what stock version the phone was one when he started messing with it and he is vague about everything HE tried to do to fix it before I got my hands on it. Its entirely possible it was on 4.1.2 to start off with and he's tried to go straight to lollipop does the 7105 need to update in increments? or could he have put a n7100 bootloader on somehow but flashing stock via Odin should fix that right?
I have a memory of people having this sort of problem years ago with HTC and it ended up being a mismatch between the modem and baseband versions or something like that, thoughts?
Here's what I've tried
Odin flash CF-Auto root as it restores stock recovery at least now the PC detects it as t0lte not t03g
1) Recovery wipe data and cache - now only gets as far as the initial samsung galaxy note II screen
2) Odin flashing a 4.1.2 rom from sammobile - no go "unsupported" so has a knox bootloader
3) Odin flashing a 4.3 rom from sammobile - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
4) Odin flashing a 4.4.2 rom from sammobile - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
5) Install firmware via Kies - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
Odin Flash proper version of twrp 2.8.7.0
6)Fix permissions in TWRP - says sucessfull but also has "E: unable to mount data" etc back to the initial galaxy note II screen
7) Flash custom rom via twrp - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
I'm running out of ideas and patience with this thing does anyone have any other ideas for me to try?
After leaving the phone for a while to prevent me from smashing it into a million bits with the biggest hammer I could find I got it working tonight.
Charged the phone up I had to disconnect and reconnect a few times as it said it was 100% on the full screen battery picture then in recovery it said 18% or something
I re-flashed N7105XXUFNL2_N7105H3GFOD1_H3G from sammobile using Odin 1.85 along with the PIT file from this thread checking re-partition (I used a pit file otherwise I'd leave this alone), Auto Reboot, F.Reset time and Phone Bootloader update. This seemed to take longer than previous flashes.
Flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0
formatted Data in TWRP (the advanced one where you have to type yes to confirm). Previously Data was unmountable so I assume the long flash fixed something there.
Wiped cache in TWRP
and rebooted and waited ages and it came to life
