Wrapsol now has a protector for the HTC EVO. I had this for my Hero and it was great. They just put it on their webpage today, just ordered mine.

How does this brand differ from any of the others that are out on the market, or, have you not used any others?
thanks!
I've used the screen protectors from the Sprint store as well as the ones from Wal-Mart. Those are difficult to apply and you will always get bubbles. The wrapsol is very easy to apply and I had no bubbles. Also, it doesn't haze up as much as the Sprint/Wal-Mart protectors. I believe Wrapsol has a lifetime warranty as well.
do you just use the screen protection, or do you install the full phone protection?
I am curious how it fits around the camera/LEDs. plus how it sticks to the sides, since its such a narrow side channel on this phone cover..

I've installed two of the screen protectors sold at the Sprint store and have no bubbles whatsoever (one clear, one anti-glare). No haze either. They weren't difficult to apply and look great. Maybe the ones I bought are different than what you tried (I have the 3 pack. 2 clear, 1 anti-glare), but I don't have anything bad to say about them.
Eh, after watching the videos i'd say ZAGG looks like it gives a more professional finished product.
if you dont mind the orange peel effect, zagg is ok;
I've used zagg, best skins ever, and one other brand, and I thought zagg was the worst of them all, and the most over priced..

I never owned this product, but they were at the gdgt.com show I went to (in Chicago). First off, the guy had it on his iPhone and told me that it's impact resistant...I said "Huh?", he took his iPhone and dropped it from shoulder height (He was 6'4")...nothing happened to the phone.
Second, the stuff is durable feeling...it's weird to explain, but it's got this hard enamel feel to it.
Lastly...it doesn't have that orange peel look/feel to it. It's a nice product. I think I'm going to buy it myself...
and seriously, if one of you tool bags think I work for the company, or am being paid by the company, or anything like that...go screw yourself.
just ordered one; curious to see how it fits on an evo..
thanks for the coupon code!
Impulse bought this after getting my evo and having nothing to protect it with. Ill let you know how it turns out.

i bought the one from verizon. its 3 pack glossy screen protector.
I'd like to find a screen protector that tones down the gloss a little bit.
Is the pack from Verizon like the Droid version (the Verizon branded ones)? Those were about $10 cheaper than the ones at Best Buy, and work a lot better, too.
The ones that Verizon carries are typically the plastic stuff for anti-glare/gloss. Best Buy only carries invisible shields
Anybody recommend one that gives a nice matte finish?

Anyone tried a ZAGG invisibleshield or their competitor Skinomi TechSkin? They are both that propeller rubber. I think I am going to order a skinomi because this screen is bull****. It attracts way too many fingerprings and just lookss disgusting when the screen is off. I wash my hand regularly and it makes me feel dirty
The reason I'm choosing skinomi is that I had a zagg on my HTC EVO, and like many people I tossed it in the bin after a week when the tackiness became intolerable.

Agreed. I had the same issue on my phone and got the Invisible Shield and that made a huge difference. Ordered the same for my Xoom, full body, which I hope will have the same results.
I've also ordered a zagg invisible shield, but just the screen protector. I've had good experiences with the Invisible Shield on my devices (G1, N1, N2, iPad) and expect the product to work well on the Xoom, too.
I do still keep a microfiber cloth around to wipe off the scrud that does inevitably accumulate.
This might be a matter of taste but Zagg skins makes the screen look horrible. Its got like an orange tint to it. I only use the full body skin with some other superclear screen protector. Also invisheild gots like little groves, its not 100% flat.
I got it on my Nexus S and its looks like crap.

Hey.
If you're planning on getting a ZAGG shield, you can use the promo code 'ZAGG20' to get 20% off. Working as of 20 minutes ago. The full-body is originally $39.99, but comes down to $31.99 with the code; plus free shipping until late March!
If you're looking to get the Skinomi spin-off, use promo code 'get25' to receive 25% off. The full-body is only $24.99, and with the code it comes down to $18.71! I just ordered one myself. This will be my first Skinomi. I've always went with ZAGG, and have no complaints. But 40 bucks is too much for my taste. Hopefully, the Skinomi works just as well. Same material anyway...

This is great to hear. I love what they put out. They are the only protectors buy. If you put them on corectly you will not even know you have it on.
I used the code and ordered just the screen protector, thanks very much. I love the Invisible Shield on my Nexus One, I hope this compares in quality
Anyone have experience with the Skinomi skins? I've been a big fan of bestskinsever but they don't have one out for the Xoom yet. Much prefer theirs over Zagg. Might consider trying the Skinomi, can anyone recommend them?
I got the Skinomi skin on my incredible and I couldn't believe it. I'll never use those cheap verizon ones again. If it gets scratched it "heals" itself somehow. If you dig your fingernail in it you can feel it give almost like a hard rubber. But when you slide your fingers across the screen it's smooth. I just ordered one for my xoom.
The installation was scary at first because it's a very wet process. You have to get the screen, your fingers, and the protector wet and then wait for it to dry for a few hours. I was scared at first but my incredible doesn't have a scratch and I've had it for 9 months now. I didn't hesitate dropping the $15 to get the xoom protection. No yellowing, it sticks well, and has a lifetime warranty. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the info on the Skinomi. Think I'll give it a shot...just need to decide whether I want just the screen protector or go with the full body or carbon fiber options. Typically I just get a screen protector...but the back of the Xoom seems like pretty scratch-able.
I've been Googling different and brands for a while now, and I realize that people will have different and conflicting experiences, so I figured the people on these forums would know best.
Personally I have only used Ghost Armor so far, and am not sure if this thing is any good. I have an EVO 3D and its the first capacitive screen I have had, I love how sensative it is and would hate it if the protector dulled this, not to mention if it made the screen feel rubbery to swipe across instead of how it feels now, would make playing touchscreen games a pain.
So anyway, yeah, what would you recommend I get? The main reason I use Ghost Armor is purely because they have a booth that installs it for you.
i use, not sure of the brand, but i picked them up at best buy, they are 7inch sheets you can measure then cut to the size you need, they feel as if they aren't even there.
but, i'd say look around, check the sprint store, see if they have any in stock. look on HTC's website, etc
I just replaced the invis shield on my flyer with a random screen protector I found on ebay. The rubber feel on the invis shield was making me angry while I was trying to use the pen. The feel was also weird. All I did was search through amazon with the keyboard matte screen protector htc flyer
I'm also looking for a screen protector for my HTC Aria.
Really no luck using google and amazon reviews to know if a $20 protector is better than 3 for $4.
You can go to this place to buy: http://www.dhgate.com/store/hotelectronics
I have been using ZAGG InvisibleShield protectors on all my phones, and I have never been disappointed!
Just got a zagg invisible full body shield from PLAY.COM £3.99. Well worth the protection. There military grade and lifetime guaranty. DESIRE HD. Also check out the huge selection at mobilefun. Hope this helps

Sometimes Google is not as smart as supposed to be. Ebay and amazon are good sources to find gadgets like screen protector. As many sellers on ebay or amazon source their stuff from china, it's better to buy items directly from china supplier. BUT always to mind: do research homework as much as you can if you want to buy stuff from china, so you can avoid scams. Using comparison engine is a good way to do the job, Screen Protector .
Besides, you can find where real bargain is by comparing prices.
Yes, I know all about reading reviews and such online.
The problem is most people just try one or two screen protectors and give their opinions on that one, its not like most review are by someone who has tried a dozen models for his device.
On top of that, its not just how well they protect but now they feel. Like I said, Ghost Armor did a pretty decent job but it changed the smooth glass screen of my iPod into a slightly rubbery to the touch, and on my DS it can make the stylus feel sluggish if I apply too much pressure.
I tried Googling these, but get all sorts of random reviews and responses, I was wondering if anyone knew either a good one themselves or a good site I can check up on these kinda things.
I dont think many normal buyers like us would try try to order a dozen models of protector and finally pick up one for the device. Commonly, we search what we need based on certain terms, and then choose the most suitable one(supposed) among many options after a tough comparison. That's why we can only give review based on one or two item we have.

I know, I wasn't expecting anyone on these forums to have done that, I was asking if they knew of any sites which have tested them.
I've always used Seidio's screen protectors, first for my iPod touch and now for my Samsung Epic. The one currently on my Epic has been there nearly a year, and is just now showing signs of wear.
How does Seidio's screen protectors hold up? I've been using a crap brand and need something a little better.
I hope this helps.
Touchsense from Boxwave.
I have used them on RAZRs, Touch Pros, DIncs, and on an Eris.
They come in glossy (look like the original screen) and reduced glare.
The one I have on my DInc is over a year old and still looks like the bare DInc screen. No scratches. No wear.
If you happen to cause a bubble or get dust under one, just peel it off, wash, dry, and re-apply, although I have yet to have to do that with the one I have now.
I've used Zagg before and they were okay. I recently found a fingerprint resistant protector by Steinheil that I have on HTC EVO 4G. I really love it. It has held up great in the six months since installed; doesn't have to be wiped clean every time I use it; and allows me to Swype without resistance. One downside is that it's matte finish so there is an ever-so-slight reduction in screen clarity. I've used it so long I don't even notice that though. Screen seems crystal clear to me.
Search Steinheil fingerprint resistant screen protector to find it. I'd put in a direct link but being new to the forum, they won't let me.They are $12 for a 2-pack.
Yep, Steinheil has great products for fingerprint resistant screen protector. In this specify niche,Targus also does pretty beautiful job.
Im a big fan of Skinomi myself. Used it on my N1 and its on my Galaxy S 4G right now.

I know there is a thread made on the 16th that basically touches on this question, but doesn't really answer it. I work for Apple and have fallen in love with the Power Support screen protectors. The only problem is they are only available for Apple devices. I've done a lot of searching for a close alternative with no conclusive results. I was going to go with an SGP Oleophobic but a little more research has me thinking that I'll be disappointed. SGP's Ultra Crystal line seems like it could be close but they aren't available yet.
Can someone who has experience with Power Support protectors tell me if there is anything that comes even remotely close? I don't care if its wet or dry install, I just want it to look/feel/function similarly.
EDIT: If you are thinking of replying with "haven't you seen the 'key scratch test?'," or "I don't like screen protectors on my phones, why do you?," or anything that doesn't have to do with the question, don't bother responding. I'm not wondering "if" I should get one, so there is no need to respond like I am.
Thanks

What a terrible comment. Not only is it NOT easy to replace the screen, it's not going to be cost effective at all. You could buy 50 screen protectors and still not be close to the same cost as replacing the screen.
Sorry I have nothing positive to contribute OP. Hope you find what you are looking for.
Sadly OP, I dont think you'll find anything near the powersupport quality. I work for a certain someone too, putting on at least 15 powersupports a day for no extra charge (perfectly, I might add) and I absolutely love the finish it gives the iPhone.
After 3 days of no screen protector, I finally went to a VZW corporate store today and splurged on the 3-pack of crystal clear protectors. The value was pretty good, 3 great protectors for only $13 (around $8 with a corp. discount). They are not antiglare (I hear those for the GNex suck), but they definitely are not very noticeable.
My only gripes are that the protector does not go all the way to each side (which is not vzw's fault, and is easily remedied by a case) and the fact that it causes an extremely slight rainbow if the phone is tilted at a 80 degree angle or so. But then again, whenever i use my phone its at a straight angle to my face, so i never notice it unless i'm trying.
Hope it helps
I've extensively used Power Support films for my Apple phones and am a big fan of the clear protectors. I've used SGP as an alternate for my Android phones and have also used a few of their films for iPhones. I feel like the general film quality is comparable between SGP and Power Support, although I do prefer Power Support. In my experience, the Ultra Crystal is the closest product that SGP has to the Power Support clear films. I have used the Ultra Oleophobic, which I think is also close, but does seem to have noticeably increased friction over Power Support. Despite what you might think, I find that the oleophobic have an odd tendency to keep certain smudges and can require a little effort to get completely spotless. I usually use a microfiber cloth to wipe mine.
I am currently using an Ultra Oleophobic screen protector on my Galaxy Nexus. As has been noted on other threads, it does not cover the entire face of the phone. Although I mentioned a few of the negatives that I perceived in the film, I am still generally happy with its performance outside of the reduced size. To me, the quality of the film itself is markedly better than that of cheaper alternatives.
Although I cannot personally vouch for it, the reputation of Martin Fields is that they produce screen protectors comparable in quality to Power Support. They appear to now carry a product for the Galaxy Nexus front face and rear camera lens. My anecdotal experience with the company has been that I placed one order with them but never received the product. I never tried them again. I know that some reputable third-party resellers, like Expansys, carry their products and you may have better luck with them than shopping direct.
I believe that Power Support, SGP and Martin Fields all use similar Japanese produced base film material.
I have never used a wet film so I cannot make a comparison.
As an aside, the only instance in which I prefer SGP to Power Support is for their matte films (which I generally do not care for.) I find the Ultra Optics to be a better matte film than the Power Support anti-fingerprint film. I have used both on iPhones.
I like the powersupport protectors too. Always used them on my wife's iphone 3g and i was pissed when every apple store within 50 miles of dallas was out of them when we got her new iphone 4. I settled for an ifrogz they sold at the att store and she likes it just as much. Problem with my GNex is i have yet to find a dry apply protector that properly fits the curved screen. I have a Zagg on currently but i hate it....way too much orange peel. I also have a clear-coat and an sgp flex that were delivered today. They both appear to have less orange peel than the zagg but i havent tried either yet. Still....none compare to the powersupport. Bummer.
Thank you all for the replies. It sounds like I probably will end up giving the SGP Oleophobic a shot and seeing how I like it.
So I've been looking at the screen protector threads around here, and while people have been pointing out good deals, and bad ones, I've yet to see anyone really comment about the "Feel" of their screen protector.
Long story short: I HATE the Zagg I have on my Evo 3D. Playing Fruit Ninja and the likes on it is impossible unless I want to coat my screen in butter so it's more slick. A few rounds and I feel like I'm going to burn my fingertips off! Hate, hate, hate. That's all I feel for Zagg. Anyway, I'm planning on leaving the phone naked (No case) with just the screen protector on, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good screen protector that will fit the bill?
I had a Sprint branded screen protector for my original Evo 4G, and it was perfect! It was as smooth as the glass, fit well, and I could hardly see it unless I looked at an angle, so maybe they'll have one at my sprint store on release day. (Albeit at a 50000% markup. Ew...) But I'd rather not spend 40$ on a piece of plastic. Lol.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Spigen/SGP said that they won't be making the Glas t glass screen protector for the galaxy s3 because of its curved screen. A shame, but understandable.
Makes me wonder how xgearlive are going to manufacture a glass screen protector with a decent fit.
It won't be able to go to the edge, not as it's curved.
hopefully xgearlive will offer a discount for s3 users, the gnexus has USD 5 off.
