I have searched around quite a bit but so far I have not found a way to overclock my Tab s 8.4 running 6.0.1.
About a year ago I was using Skyhigh kernel and it had an app that allowed overclocking, however that appears to not be supported by 6.0.1, so if anyone knows a kernel or other method to overclock I would be forever grateful.

Is there a kernel for aosp yet that supports over clocking and real control over governors? All ive found are a couple of TW kernels. I'm used to alucard kernel with stweaks on my S4 and I can't find anything similar, although I know S4 and my tab have totally different hardware.
First of all, my intentions: (if one or many of them werent fixed/improved with a kerner flash, then theres no need for one)
1- I want to unlock OC in the tablets GPU and if possible also CPU (not saying 8-core stuff,m just a regular OC on either stack of cores)
2- I cant get GLtools to work. i have the official 1.2.7 version but as some guy said in a N3-related thread, samsungs kernels dont go well with it
2/a- Both portal and hl2 seem to require GLtools to run, which means we either need a way to go around that, or well... fix the incompatibility
And lastly (3), ive been trying to get dolphin(emulator) to work faster, but i cant seem to get it quite right. If you could somehow tell to your CPU to use the right stack for it, performance would improve a whole lot (possibly from 1.3Ghz with the A7 to 2.1Ghz with an OCed A15... hell that would be a lot faster)
Thanks in advance for any kind of help here. Even if we cant get this stuff done on the P600, any info on them for the rest of the note10.12014edit-community would be great i guess.
PS: you can buy portal and hl2 as i did, but you cant get them to download in your tablet yet. GLtools and messing with a couple .smth seems to fix that, but without GLtools you cant get portal to actually work past valves logo.
If you have the P600 running kk, you can flash xluco's kernel with TWRP in order to OC.

Having "upgraded" from a SGT2 7.0 to a SGT3 8.0, I'm keen to give the CPU a little boost, like I used to with the Dhollmen kernel for the SGT2.
Does anyone know of an overclock kernel for the SGT3 that plays nicely with the CM11 "Unofficial" ROM?
I have installed CM nightlies from @crpalmer in my T-520 some days ago (now 20140915) and i think the device is hotter than with stock ROM. I have installed CPU temp and when i use Chrome or any app it's 50ºC (122F) and when I play games (Brave Frontier RPG) i have 76ºC (169F). I'm not sure because i have no measures from stock but it looks like hotter than with stock ROM. With No-frills i have limited CPU at 1,0GHz but with the same results so I think it could be some problem with GPU settings. Could be a CM bug?
T520 cpu overheating
Was there ever a resolution to this problem? I seem to have a similar issue and despite a lot of googling and searching through this forum I do not see a conclusive answer.

Hey guys, I have a G3 and I'm getting SUPER FRUSTRATED trying to disable touchboost...
I have a custom kernel installed and I've been using fauxclock to control my kernel settings, My problem is when I "disable touchboost" in fauxclock it only disables 3 of 4 cores, So core0 is ALWAYS touchboosting no matter what I try.
Has anyone successfully disabled touchboost on this phone?? I can't even stand this phone anymore because of this issue.
My galaxy s4 gets up to almost double SOT on average with touchboost disabled vs when it's on in some circumstances, But with this stupid piece of crap G3 can't even find a way to get it disabled:crying::crying::crying:
Anyone got any ideas? or workarounds?
Does anyone know of a build.prop fix or anything along those lines?
Does anyone know of an app that can disable touchboost on the G3?
I'm running Rin kernel 1.7.2 & stock rom
(I tried Cloudy G3 1.1 and 1.2 but they have the same results)
