Where exactly to solder a Qi receiver in the Z1C? - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
i found out, that it's possible to solder a Qi receiver into the Z1C. Someone shows it on YouTube.
But unfortunately he doesn't describe ist. There is only a low resolution picture and the information that the receiver is connected to the power circuit of the magnetic charging port.

Can you please explain me, where exactly I have to solder the Qi receiver? :good:

Hi ,i was thinking to do the same thing to my z1c,but i was thinking to solder the pins of qi receiver to pins of magnetic charger its easier to solder there. Now you can find power ic but it will be hard to solder there.

Do you mean the outside of the phone?

No,just try to find pins inside they should be easy to find.

Magnetic dock/charging cable friendly cases?

Hi there,
Are there any good cases that allows the phone to be charged via the magnetic dock or charging cable (i.e. not micro USB)?
Thanks,
Chester

with the micro USB cable from my Note II and just use this adapter:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Sony-XL39H-X...DA_Cables_Adapters&hash=item51b37645a3&_uhb=1
I can't tell you how well it will work, since the charging adapter is still in transit and the dock still hasn't passed funding stage yet.
I also looking for a case that will fit in the dock dk31.....any one know...?

How have I never seen these before?
I wonder how strong is that magnet though; because if I have my phone on charger and if I pick it up from the desk, I am afraid the magnetic charger will just fall off, as the contact surface is minimal.

Well, the "cheap" ones from DX won't hold with a case, so I don't recommend them!

Does the Moto 360 support charging via the USB pinouts on the motherboard?

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if the Moto 360 supports charging via the USB pinouts on the motherboard? In specific I would like to get feedback from those of you that have the cat5 cable connected to the watch. I would like to know if the phone charges while it's connected through the MB to the pc.
Thanks,
SpeedV
Edit:
I want to solder

With this thin wire
To the leads on the motherboard of the watch
And wrap it in this
But I need to know if charging works thought these pinouts
Sorry about the size of the images.
It is imperative that i get an answer soon since I will be doing the soldering soon
Anyone?
I'm not 100% positive, but it should charge it. It's been a while since I hooked it up via the pins, but I do know that the charging bolt symbol shows up when hooked up, so I'm fairly sure it does charge. Good luck!

Magnetic Type C Cable doesn't charging

Hi everyone,
I got magnetic Type C Cable but it doesn't charging.
There is a blue led on it also (works fine) but no charging / detect in pc etc.
There are 5 pins from the cable to the usb-c connector and middle one can be moved easily back into the connector.
Is that normal or there is a problem?

Coil spring missing inside I'd say --> exchange.
Mine works but all contacts are spring loaded.
Thanks for reply, anyway I got it for free and don't need a new one. Just good to know that's the problem.
From what I Read some allow Data transfer and some do not. some are meant only for charging.
I read same information earlier but my cable doesn't work at all - no charging by charger or detect in pc.
Problem is probably "broken" pin in the middle.
