LG G3 D855 in Constant Firmware Update Loop. PLease Help - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
After hours of searching the internet and trying various flash tools I've come to the conclusion I need help or to throw my phone in the bin. I have a G3 D855 which originally came from France according to the box. I've got into a loop now where it sits at firmware update at 0%. I've tried everything I can to get it into Download Mode so I can use the Flash Tools. Nothing works. I've downloaded the DLL and .TOT files required and spent hours using the flash tool. I just get error messages from the Flash Tools, saying the download has failed. I am assuming that I need to get my phone into Download Mode or I will be in this loop for ever?
Without putting the sob sob story in I have some issues with elderly parents, and not having a phone right now is a royal pain.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks in advance - Chris

PLEASE can someone help? I cannot believe that someone isn't able to suggest anything..... I really need my phone

FastBoot Mode

Hello XDA!
A few months ago I won an LG Optimus Me P350 and I recently discovered that no recovery mode.
I tried to follow a tutorial offered by this community and unfortunately I failed in fastboot.
I tried something with cmd and I remain "locked" .. I say that is waiting phone.
And with KDZ not know how well I did, but with 3GQCT Emergency Mode and Select Emergency calls me at a time that does not detect the phone, which is strange .. since it detects the computer ...
Probably a very old version and no firewall or KDZ file rather not be too good.
Let's try a little with KDZ, and if you fail I hope to find here a solution posted for you!
I know I can somehow manage to get rid of this problem.
I wanted to install android 7.xx (not sure what version I had) with recovery mode .. but unfortunately went into fastboot.
Thanks in advance!
Which guide did you follow? I compiled the one on XDA Wiki for Optimus Me so I know the ins and outs of flashing this phone. Can you be more specific on what problem did you face?

HELP!

my lg g2 is soft bricked, I can access twrp and download mode but when I try to flash with lg flash tool it says my battery is low....I need a work around for low battery error or maybe a different program not sure where I go from here I don't have any roms on my phone already or else id just flash one..but this has stomped me for hours so im reaching out to the community for help as I don't know what to try now.

Failed to get PMT info, is it bricked for good?

Hi,
So today suddenly my phone restarted and after that it was stuck on the micromax logo, I coudnt get into recovery either. So I tried to flash the stock kitkat rom using sp tools, it did manage to flash it the first time but the phone after that wont start at all, nothing not even the charging screen.
Is it bricked for good? I tried to flash it again but if I choose firmware upgrade or download+firmware upgrade in sp tools I get the pmt info error. Is there any way to get the phone back to a working state? Any help would be much apprecited.
Note: I did look through the old post on the similar topic where the guy managed to solve the problem by using a latest version of sp tools, Im already using the latest version , no dice.
Did you get anywhere with this to unbrick the device as I have similar with a GDP XP and it wont now boot or show charge its just dead!
Any help on fixing this would be great as we cant be alone with this. ATB

softbricked lg g3 d850

Hey!
I guess i just softbricked my phone, by installing a D855 firmware thing, using LGUP, and don't know how to fix this. To be correct, it turns on to the LG logo, and stays there forever. I can use hard reset, and it does the job, but still bootloop thing. I can also get into download mode, but nowhere further than the LG logo screen if i just turn it on or something. Tried to use LG Flash Tool on multiple computers one after another. I followed guides for help with it, and did everything as they described, but the problem with this, is after i use LG Flash Tool with the correct .TOT file, and .DLL file, it will just say "Model Information Chech FAIL.", so i can't fix it by flashing the correct files. I've been trying everything for 2 days, but no luck. Please, can you guys help me? :'( I'm worried.
Update: My phone is now fixed. I don't know how it got fixed. My brother did it, and he doesn't tell me how he did it. :'D Anyways. It's now fixed, so thank you for everyone who messaged me about this with helps. ^^ After 2 days of trying, its finally fixed.

LG G3 boot loop, any solution?

Hi all, I've had some issues with my G3 and have got to the point where I need the advice of wiser heads to try and fix the problem!
The phone seemingly died during an update a few weeks ago, but I was able to fix it using LG's tool and upgrading to Marshmallow. Then a few days ago with no warning the phone froze, and gets stuck in a bootloop at the LG screen, with the flashing LED. If I try to factory reset, I just end up with the Android Droid with a red triangle and I can't get any further. I've tried numerous guides I've found to try and reinstall the stock firmware, all without success. (I haven't tried accessing bootloader as I have download mode available). LG's own tool gets stuck at 4% when I try to recover, and I've tried the LG Flash Tool but get an error at 6% (LAF_READ_GPT_FAILED) using the 8974 dll. I've also tried the LGUP tool but that gets stuck at 6% (Error can't communicate with phone[Kilo Packet]. The phone was not rooted and is a 16GB UK version (model D855). I just seem to be going in circles now trying to find a solution, I suspect somewhere along the line I'm using the wrong combination of programs/TOT/DLL files so I could really do with someone pointing me in the right direction here!
