$50 credit for preordering?

I've looked in my Google Wallet, etc. I never received the $50 credit from Google. I ordered it within a minute after the Nexus 5x went live. Thanks in advance for the help.

I was under the impression that the phone comes with a physical card with a code redeemable for the $50 credit. I don't know if that's true or not, but I won't get concerned until after I get the phone tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing, but I do remember reading that it was going to be emailed once the phone shipped. We'll see.

"Purchase a Nexus 5X by 10/25/2015 and get an email with a Google Play promotional credit once it ships. Redeem offer before 12/31/15. Terms apply.*"
So once your order ships, you should then receive an email with the promo credit attached.

i also am waiting for the email with $50 credit and code for half off nexus case.

My order has shipped and I did not receive a code.

I was hoping the same thing, that I could use the credit to purchase a case for the 5x. But the fine print on the Google store says:
"... Google Play credit cannot be used on the Google Store. Some subscriptions excluded. ..."
Looks like the credit can only be used for App purchases.

My bet it won't come until after the return period ends. If not a lot of people could buy a lot and then return them once they get the credit applied.

I contacted their support, was advised to wait up to 48 hours for the email. I've already received my 5x so only time will tell.

Usually they just reduce the refund by the card value if it was already redeemed.

I contacted Play Store costumer service and they said it should have come 24 hours after shipping. Mine shipped over 24 hours ago so I emailed my rep back to get things looked at more. I hope it comes soon! I got some things to download! x3

we get $50 play credit AND a code for half off nexus case. Thats why the email said after i placed an pre order

Same here. Has ANYONE received their $50 credit?

I just talked to Google rep. He said you should get email of it within 96 hours of after your phone has shipped.

I got mine a couple hours ago, phone arrived yesterday morning, so about 36 hours after receiving phone I got the code in my email.

My 5x was delivered yesterday. I set it up last night and overnight I received the $50 Credit.
It is just a code via email.

I received my 5X yesterday and I received the $50 credit email as I was setting up the phone and updating it last night.

My phone shipped on Wednesday. I didn't receive my phone yet, but I received the code via email for two phones.

My phone shipped Wed., got the code today. Kinda felt deceived by the case promotion since it was only for the Adopted case. I thought it would be for any case in the Google Store. Pretty disappointed by that.

I just got my promotional e-mail from google mailing list that i signed up for about the pixel phones.
It says right in the text "pre-order pixel and enjoy the new Daydream View VR headset on us"
That should confirm that its a promo code for 100% off.

I'm in the same boat. I'm sure there are many of us that ordered before the email went out. Wouldn't make sense for the first people to order to not get the free headset. Just in case, I'll have my torch and pitchfork ready to go. [emoji16]

I just got an email from Google saying that I am confirmed to get a code for the Daydream View about 4 weeks after my order ships. It's good that they don't leave you hanging wondering.

Has anyone that ordered their Pixel from Google received their code for the Daydream View yet? Says on the Google Store that is will ship in 2-3 weeks. Just curious.

To be fair, "Within approximately four weeks of your phone shipping" could mean anytime between the day your phone ships and six weeks from then.

I could've sworn I had already received the code and submitted my receipt to Verizon. But now I can't find the email to save my life

I had received the code and submitted my claim. It says that they received my information and said try back in a week. This is threw vzw not Google tho.

There's no way to know unless you contact Google and ask them.

Thanks for your input. I was as ki ING if anyone else has had this issue pop up. I'm waiting for Google to respond..

I chatted today with Support, regarding my trade in kit (I never received it). I was told that it would be coming with the phone, and that it would be good for 30 days after receiving the phone.

no cancellations here...

Not cancelled here but has not arrived yet. Preorderd from Google on the 7th.

Did you owe any money to the carrier of the phone for the phone? If so this could explain the cancellation.

I ordered on the 10th, got a notice my kit shipped on the 11th, phone is due on the 30th.

Mine came by USPS, along with a USPS priority shipping label to send in your trade in.

Took about 10 days via USPS from Google Indianapolis, IN.

I ordered my Pixel 2 XL last week and it was shipped today with a delivery window between 10/18 and 10/19. They sent me an OnTrac tracking number but when I go to the website it shows that the tracking number can not be located. Now I don't know when I need stay home from work if it needs to be signed for. Does anyone know if signature is required for delivery? I ordered from the Google Store. The email they sent doesn't say anything.

Mine is coming the 19th FedEx and says indirect signature required

Do you see that on the email from Google or from the FedEx tracking website?

It's kind of weird cause mine says it's shipping by tomorrow and scheduled to arrive tomorrow or the 19th... my order status hasn't changed and haven't gotten notifications of it being shipped yet, nor an email... getting confused here

If it's scheduled to ship tomorrow you'll get an email tomorrow. Problem for me is it doesn't say if signature is required and my tracking number doesn't work so I don't know what day it'll be delivered.

As someone who is in the business and has personal orders for phones in the past I'm 99% sure it requires a signature because it's a very high value item. Now Idk what your relationship is lo ike with the FedEx guy around your neighborhood but if I call FedEx and tell them I'm leaving a note with a signature on the door with the tracking number, along with authorisation for them to leave it, they will if you'd like

Yeah I've left a note on my door that says "I hereby take responsibility if something happens to my package" signed and dated for them and they left it.

My FedEx email shows no sign required.
Delivery set for Thursday before 8pm.

Thing is they didn't use FedEx to ship my package. They used OnTrac.

It's probably already at FedEx just waiting to be delivered.

Well got mine today that was so quick

Mine got delivered today by OnTrac with no signature needed. Luckily I was in the area during work so I stopped by and grabbed it from the front door before someone else did lol.

I think it said so on the tracking screen before delivery. But look ..

But different carrirrs do things differently. I expected a signature to be required but my phone was delivered to the package room in my complex.

Adding to the responses, my phone purchased from the google store and delivered by Fedex did not require a signature.

Mine is supposed to ship today. Still havent received a shipping email or notification and the google store still shows it's available to cancel. It's 4:06 California time.
