I recently bought, rooted, installed LeeDroid on HTC 10.
Im trying to figure out a few issues.
When i flashed Leedroid it added Superuser app. But I already had SuperSu. Do i need both or are they doing the same thing. I tried to install Adaway and it says it wasnt given root access. When i try to open SuperSu it says there is no SU binary. Do i just flash SuperSU again in twrp. Or should superuser be granting root?
Is Xposed safe to use with Leedroid?
How can i download directly to the sd card?
Once i flash a leedroid update can i delete the .zip?
Okay i reflashed SuperSU and it seems to be okay. Still not sure if thats the right thing since superuser was on there...Its runs through what seems 2 boot cycles now. Which is odd.
Hi there, I have a thread about xposed and a couple of modules in the guides section I think it is. Leedroids and venoms roms are both compatible with xposed.

Please reply if need more info let me know what ya need im realy hoping for some suggestions
I had this happened to me a while ago it actually ended up either being an app or an xposed module. Do you use xposed?
I had this problem with Cyanogen mod 11 and running exposed framework.
I switched ROMs and now I have no problems.
losing root
I don't use xposed im just using the root66 stock 4.3 rom I have tried different super user apps no help. Im currently using superSU 2.0 (not the one from market) so far its no longer losing root. I uninstalled the superSU app from the market and used the one I found on a different thread in the Q&A forum. thanks for asking about it I will post if it stops working or anything else goes skiddy wumpus.
Thanks guys.
I remember now. It was the Xposed module BootManager that was causing the issue for me. If you don't use that specific module then it might be a module or app that functions similarly to control startup permissions of apps at boot time.

Yes I agree I set the SU request during boot to grant superSU root access so the superSU app would protect SU binary from being deleted during boot.
well crap
Crap im once again losing root on restart/boot I've tried using different root methods to no avail. Could it be the SE for Android still says enforcing maybe my bootloader is locked but I don't know how to check if it is. I have not tried custom roms because I don't know which ones work for the t999l lte.
All of the roms are safe to try. They work fine for most people, but if you have problems you can always flash back to what you have now. (Don't forget to make a nandroid backup).
And the bootloader is not locked btw.
Might also help to flash your stock firmware Via Odin. Have you tried the root66 firmware?

su binary present in xbin but on reboot not executing
Ok im still having the same problem.
I have the su binary installed in the /system/xbin folder but when rebooting from recovery su binary is not detected by superSU but its still in the xbin folder.
This jpeg is when I have full root access is the setuid not present a problem? See errors on second jpeg.
I don't know what info is needed to find problem will someone tell me what info I should gather to help solve problem with su binary (like logcat/busybox version,) thanks
Did you try v1.94 or 2.00? I guess 2.13 didn't solve the problem.

thread closed use thread "keep losing root access"
There are 2 threads on the same issue. Please use Keep losing root access.
I just flashed the latest twrp and the SuperSU 5.0 image coming from stock 5.0.2 last night and was having trouble with granting permissions, it would just get stuck and wouldn't let me choose anything. I went ahead and backed up in twrp and flashed a custom rom and all went well. Although I still have the sticking on the permission windows and the SuperSU app isn't showing up in the app tray and won't allow me to open it from the play store. I was recommended to flash the SuperSU 2.45 update which I did successfully in twrp and I'm still getting stuck on the permission window, any help or suggestions I would be very much appreciate. Thanks!
Edit: fixed it, just needed to uninstall and reinstall SuperSU! Thanks y'all

I am using stock L 5.0.2, and used Chainfire Auto Root to flash it on 5.0/.1/.2 without issue. I am running SuperSU 2.40 currently, and it does not appear to have an update pending on the Play store.
Did you try using 2.45 on a clean install that had not previously used 5.0? Wondering if something is getting gummed up from that, and sticking around on the older version.
Maybe try a fresh clean install on stock or whatever ROM you want and try 2.40/2.45 first before 5.0.
My phone is rooted with TWRP installed using the H811 extreme rom. Superuser is installed and seems to be working correctly for the most part. I'm prompted to grant access to most apps like TiBackup, Greenify, Amplify, and some others I have installed.
Problem is some apps are telling me my device has no root access. One of them is Quick Boot, which is installed with the custom rom I downloaded and installed. Another one is iFont. I don't even know if iFont will work on my G4 but I would like to give it a shot. When I use root checker from the play store it tells me my device has no root access? I tried uninstalling and re-installing SuperSu and it's no different. Certain apps working fine, others not, and root checker says no root access. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Edit: Problem is fixed. I didn't have SuperSu installed to /system. I thought that would happen automatically if using TWRP to install the zip.
Hey, So today trying to install saved wifi password app (root). I realised there was no superSU. I mean i tried the root checker but it said "Problems with root" Then i reflashed superSU but no luck. Tried kingroot again but root failed. Safetrap is working fine. I dont know whats wrong. I am currently using latest cm11.
when u install cynogenmod with safstrap you might have forgotten to install supersu too, search in how to install cm11 in fire phone there you will know how to get root, may this helps.
Hello, I've been trying to install systemless root, suhide, systemless xposed, etc. on Sultan's rom with my OP3 (most recent update 12/11/16) - [method found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69651636&postcount=314] but I keep running into a problem. I flashed the update so I got a clean version of the rom which removed any previous root stuff, I go through the systemless code for the terminal and flash SuperSU, but every time it won't boot. Simply goes to the CM logo and pulses.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've tried a few different methods of flashing but always the same. When I reboot back into recovery and re-flash the rom, it boots up just fine. I also tried locating the /su files to delete prior to doing any installing but they aren't there.
Really just looking to get a systemless root set up on my OP3! Any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone has a process that works on Sultan's. Thank you very much in advance!
Don't use suhide with latest November security update, it bootloops. But this is also mentioned in the suhide thread.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I haven't even been able to get that far. It seems now any time I try to flash root (currently trying SuperSU v2.79) it boots to the CM screen, reboots, then just hangs at the CM screen and won't boot past that. I have to go back in and reflash CM13 in order to get it to boot. Any thoughts on why?
Is there another work around for system/systemless root & Xposed that works with Pokemon Go and Android Pay?
I've tried removing all instances of root, but when I use Root Checker Pro Free it tells me that I'm not rooted but:
Stage 1: Superuser App not installed
Stage 2: Superuser binary files installed
Stage 3: Root User Account: Success
I can't figure out why exactly...
