Hi i buy a g3 for my mother without any garranty ! it is d855 on its pack and software and under battery and all iemi codes are right and same ! but i boot it with stock recovery and i known it is ls990(sprint model) ! in iemi checker site there is ls990 too i think it is refurbished model maybe unlocked one ! i don't have any problem with this that this phone is refurbished or inlocked ... my really problem is that i can'tupdate this phone with stock 4.4.2! there is no update center in setting !
is anyone has sameproblem ?! can you help me please ! i don't want to flash it because i m afraid brick it !
pls help can i flash d855 marshmallow rom on it without any problem?!

First backup ur current rom, efs and modem after that i think u should try fumics rom.

i bought th G3 second hand in informations it sais it's D855 variant & he is in kitkat 4.4.2 version d85510n with no radio fm application & few camera options (just hdr, size, and flash light !)
when i pluged it into my pc to upgrade it with LGMobile Support Tool it says that is ls990 & he is uptodate!!!
am really disappointed & the problem now i don't know what varian of this g3 i have ?!!!
and how to upgrade it to marshmallow !

Yes your device is ls990 don't try to update .or you face a big problem network disabled.

i hear from you guyz which variant is best if i want to customize my phone having unlock bootloader and install custom roms ...i want fully cutomizable phone .. i came from Sony Xperia which has fully unlock bootlader and anything can be done with that,,,,i need phone which has more features and so i can test many roms on it ...
I need your suggestions ...

You can't install d855 software to d851....also there is no bootloader unlock option...but you can bump....which help you to install custom roms and twrp....d855 is the best option.....also beaware there are few fake available board swap with ls990 or d850

You may install any Fulmics Rom to get it converted. If you are in Lahore, you can bring it to me.
