Acase Superleggera PRO

i know that slim/sleek/svelte is all the rage these days, but if you're like me, you're paranoid about drops. i've used this case on my n4 since day one and couldn't be happier with it. i'm definitely picking up an n5 version of it when i get around to ordering my n5. (which should be tomorrow, woo!)
just wanted to throw this case out there as option for those who want more serious protection than the slim and hybrid stuff currently out there. if this case is anything like it's n4 counterpart, it's not going to add a ton of bulk to the phone. i think the protection/bulk trade-off is right in a sweet spot with this case.

This seems similar to the dual layer Incipio cases for some phones. If it is then I agree this is a great balance for cases offering heavy duty protection.

I have one on the way for my mother in laws phone, if pictures haven't been posted by the time I get mine i'll put some up

I ordered the white one on Nov 1st and was expected to ship on the 12th, never got a shipping confirmation so I'm assuming mine was delayed too. Disappointing but at least I got it with the free shipping offer!

I just received this email from the vendor on Amazon about the Acase Superleggera I ordered about a week ago:

That's annoying. I was looking forward to seeing if the Nexus 5 case lived up to the 4's well deserved hype. I've ordered two cases already for a combined $13, but I was looking at also getting this case for the best protection.

we just ordered one the other day and got a shipping confirmation for the purple one saying it was on the way...

Did you order it through the Digital Media Source or the CTC store, they both offered the same products, but getting it through CTC store was half the price.

Sorry i was mistaken, I think it was actually $0.99 with $4.50 shipping when I ordered the white one. Still no shipping confirmation... It was suppose to be delivered by the 19th. I'll give them a day or two more before I ask about it. Not really in a hurry as I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid as well as the Am Case bumper delivering today.

CTC Store... I'm a cheap ass lol.

Did the CTC store shutdown or something? None of the nexus 5 acases are available to purchase from them, and the CTC store (on amazon) doesn't seem to be selling anything at all.

yeah I'm beginning to think something is up with the CTC store myself. The low prices seem to good to be true. Mine say it has shipped and was supposed to be delivered already but I have yet to see it.

I had an order in at that price but I cancelled it, now I regret it, I can't find the cheaper listing now...

I'll go and contact them tonight and see what is with them dissaperaing on amazon.

I also noticed CTC store had pretty much disappeared.
I cancelled my order with them around 4pm est and bought it from another vendor.
At 5:30pm est they sent me a message telling me that they're sorry, they shipped my package today, and to write "REFUSED" on it and send it back.
At 6:15pm est they sent me a notification saying it had shipped.
I'm going to play along and give them the benefit of the doubt, but the way they're going about things seems very peculiar.

Where can I buy this case shipped to or in Canada?

Egh I have this for the Nexus 4 and it gets damaged so easily on the back. The material takes permanent scratches like nothing.

Memorial Day. I noticed the sale yesterday. 25% off site-wide with the code mem2014 code at checkout.
For a few case+color combination it works out cheapest. I got the Armor to complement the ultra slim for when I'm more knock-about traveling.

If I didn't already have 8 cases for my N5, I'd consider another one. But the red Slim Armor case does look good.

Red, white, gray is $25 pre-discount, I bought black $15 pre-discount, after discount add tax, free postage, is $12.14 my out-of-pocket . I own a red N5 so there's a dash of red visible
I've kept my N4 in a dual-layer rubber inner, more stiff outer for 18 months and taking it out I see the only damage is the scratches around fumbling in the usb power. I later got a wireless base charger,so my new N5 should look even better used when I sell it.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but aren't spigen cases normally around 20% lower on Amazon?

No actually. e.g. nexus 5 spigen armor cheapest on Amazon is $17+tax + postage (which you can avoid with Prime or bundling with other items) but I got that case Spigen for total $12 delivered, so ...cough, if someone wanted such a case they can it cheaper today than Amazon do every day.
You're right normally and why I posted this today as its true valid and useful for others today.

You're right I just checked. Normally though the slim armor was 25 on spigen's site and 18 on amazon so with the 25% off it would be the same price approx. However, I didn't notice spigen lowered their price to 15.

If only it would take so long to ship from china to the US. I would order but to shorten that by using dhl or ups its to high.

I myself placed an order for a noname chinese 2.5 glass protector and couple of cases via mistertao.com.

I have two cases coming that I order on September 04 2014. I will let you know when the arrive. I did see that they are selling the OnePlus One at a higher price but with more choices. Anyone that has bought one?

I ordered some stuff from them and it took almost 3 weeks to get here. I'd grab a Diztronic case, and a Mime glass screen protector.

I always preferred from the including my 1+1
