How to Edit Remove "Swipe to unlock"

I want to share how to. (My ROM Backhybrid 2)
I found a simple way, thanks to Pako 777 and his utilty PUMa v2.2
Your phone must be rooted and deodexed
Downloud the utility
Open PUMa
Make a copy of your framework-res.apk copy in Folder IN
Even if android 2.3.6 officially not supported
Select device 9100, android 4.0, system; check "Change of lookscreen unlock guide text"
press apply, edit or left blank when finish copy the framework-res.apk from folder OUT to your system/framework
finally reboot

Not really needed?
Settings/location and security/set screen lock... choose 'none'
works for me

sorry if i ask this silly question, "what the function of this modding "
is it purpose to remove the default lockscreen swipe pattern, or is it removing the lockscreen function of some third party lockscreen application (go locker or magiclocker for example)??

It's just to edit or remove text in lookscreen, cause the translation in italian of "Swipe to unlook" is "Trascina il dito sullo schermo per sbloccare" and I don't like it.
If you want to disable lookscreen search for awakewidget there's a free version, works fine.

Can someone please help me with the Myfiles.apk

I am new to the forum and don't know if posting a request in this section is appropriate but... Anw, I use Android Revolution and Rom Cleaner. Never thought that RC would delete the My Files. I couldn't install it even when I put in system/app and change permission and reboot.
Found the solution: pull the file directly from the custom/stock rom and use it for installation.

I am trying to create a theme for Note 2 with Note 3 mods. I am currently using DN3 v3 rom.
These are my questions :
1. I would like to know where installed apps from play store keeps there icons "I want to change them"
2. Where are all the stock apps "pre installed apps" located ?
3. Do i need to do any xml programming when replacing the app icons ?
Please tell me the path to those locations if you know it :fingers-crossed:

Each app is an apk file, and it contains icon(s). So there is no central place where all icons are stored.
the best you can do is to create an iconpack theme. just download one (it is apk file as well) and see how it's done. apk's are just signed-zip files, so you can open them (unzip) with any app like winzip or total commander (it is harder putting it back together). There are a lot of iconpacks available, just google it.

Thanks i use "Ninja Morph" on the phone so it should be easy enough to unpack and then repack i hope

I need help i cant find the META-INF folder. Where would i find that folder ?
I got a message as showen in the picture that i need to copy 2 files where to i found the AndroidManifest.xml but i cant find the other one called META-INF and i have looked everywhere in the decompiled folder. What should i do ?

(mod) Speed up GPS with tweak

With the small tweaks in GPS.config , now your device will have faster gps, and finds the satellite quickly .
Instruction: For this to work your device must be rooted and should have root explorer or any file manager with root acess installed.
Download the file below and then extract it and choose the appropriate gps.config file according to your location and paste it into root/system/etc/ and set permission rw-r-r

i think update only sensors files
Who can help me for this problem i need

And / data / misc / sensors
And file /persist/sensors/sns.reg
update please this folders for me i try change my folders X800 Le1Pro CN
But Update ALL SYSTEM , Data Folders Please Thanx uu all

Here are the sensor files from my x800+ CN (latest stable v5.9.020S RushROM):

Copy/Replace the files to the related dirs and give them proper permissions, you know:
rw - for error_log
rwx - for sns.reg
rw-rw - for LocalSensorState.xml
rwxr-xr-x - for files in system/bin directory
rw-r-r - for all other files
Use root file explorer manager - ES File Explorer, Root Explorer, X-plore, etc.
Reboot & Good Luck...

Hi, I think Gyro_Files.zip can help you.
You can tap "Gyro_Files.zip" on Google and choose first link (xda) for download Gyro_Files.zip and remplace neccesary files that you need.
