Has anyone here managed to get xposed running on the phone? I am currently on the latest xiaomi.eu rom but whenever i try to install xposed i get a bootloop
Yes, I'm using xposed for miui (the one in XDA xposed forum) on the chinese rom. I'm using Greenify, xMIUI, amplify and spotify notification fix ATM.
Just to be sure before i get another bootloop on my phone. I assume you are refering to this version? http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-miui-t3367634
Yes. I used that on Mi 4s (I have yet to receive my Mi5s) and my brother's redmi note 3.
The official one is giving me bootloop, same as you. But this version works.
Thanks, i was trying the official one :/ Now it works
running fine on Mi5s with xiaomi.eu 6.10.13
I installed v86 sdk23 for arm64 via twrp from thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-miui-t3367634
and afterwards Xposed Installer 3.1 from thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Working flawless on latest Miui Xiaomi.eu ROM
Ps.: Youtube Background Playback is a must have for me
I installed xPosed and the apk on my Global Rom not everything is working. I want Youtube Background Playback and xMiui but it isn;t working
I'm on xiaomi.eu's ROM, and Youtube Background + xMIUI are working here...
I'm using the one made by @SolarWarez himself.
What other modules are you lot using?

Hello Guys!
I got my brand new Xiaomi Mi5S. I have already unlocked it and installed newest rom from Xiaomi.eu
Now I wonder If I can safely Install Xposed module with all my addons? Won't that cause brick or sth?
I remember on my Xiaomi Mi Note Pro there was special modded file for Xposed.
Anyone tried?
P
No, you cant. Miui is very different from Android without mods

I got mine for 2 months now.
I installed material design xposed and install the miui x64 version from
Download from :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
If you want a cool module, I recommand the MIUI TWEAKS 8 from the play store for less than 2€
Another useful module, try xMIUI https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=software.solarwarez.xmiui
It's similar to MIUI tweaks but has a few extra features.

I know that here are some threads that tells you how to install xposed and how to fix It but it doesn't matter what I do I can't get my mi mix to install xposed, I've tried to do the latest v87 and v86 sdk23 x64 some how my phone wont boot and boot loops. I am wondering if any of you have the same problem and have to solve it.
I've got the mi mix 6gb 256gb global rom MIUI 8.0.7.0.0 rooted with TWRP unlocked.
any help is appreciated thank you.
I'm sorry I've forgot to ask in the original thread post about the GravityBox for marshmallow on the mi mix?
are you actually following the guide that is posted in the mi mix section? you have to make sure to flash xposed made specifically for MIUI. if you follow the guide it is quite simple if you are rooted with twrp it will work.
also, gravitybox does not work on the mix as gravitybox is only for non skinned versions of android. we are running MIUI so gravitybox will not work. there are modules like gravitybox made specifically for MIUI - xMIUI is probably the best and you need to download it in the playstore.
I did follow the instructions step by step and yes I did uses the Maui specific files. it flashes fine but it boot loop on me, I just don't know why it won't boot. First I see the progress bar than the mi logo with dots and again the progress bar than the mi logo dots than. Any idea?
As for gravityBox thanks for the info I didn't know.
Do I need to be on the official Chinese rom or does it work on the global as well MIUI v8.0.7.0.0

I think xposed only works on EU ROM not sure of stable ROM or Dev rom
man that's a bummer, I would be a shame if that's the case
Magisk version of miui specific xposed works without problems here. But you've to use material xposed installer, official version is not recognizing installed framework files. Flash magisk, flash xposed, that's it. I think that should work with china version ROM, too. All modules, unicon, flatstylebarindicators, amplify etc. are working flawlessly.

I don't think that xposed works with global rom 8.0.7.0.0 because it wont boot, I did install EU newest rom 6.12... and it did work but I didn't like it has too many Chinese bloat this rom fortunately I made a backup of my previews rom and backed up. is there another way to install xposed that you might know of?

I have little Chinese bloat on the EU ROM, and after TWRP, rooting and Xposed the Mix flies without any of the force crashes and aggressive download throttling or permission requests that the CN ROM is riddled with.
I suggest you go to @underlines excellent guide and get your phone on the EU ROM posted there.
Best

Is anybody still using a LG G3?
I love mine, I rooted it recently and install Lineage 15(android 8.0)
I keep getting the Magisk safetynet fail.
Should I flash a different Rom?
Is there a better Rom?
Or can anybody help me with the safety net?
Thanks
Maybe try flashing latest version of magisk if you already hadn't?
I had resurrection remix for a day or two which is pretty similar ROM but I forgot if I had any problems with safetynet.
I have Magisk 16.0 installed and it says it is upto date.
Someone told me, it should be 16.1.
Mgisk 16 is the latest version as of today.
The only thing I can tell you is to download a bunch of top roms and try each one...
I'm using fulmics, which is based on stock rom and is outdated af, but SafetyNet is passing.
I just want to have everything run as its supposed to and be able to delete blot wear etc.
The stock Rom was OK, but I thought I'd give a custom Rom a go and see what it's all about.
The safetynet is the main problem I've found so far.
If you want a debloated stock based MM ROM, I recommend CleanROM, works great - fast, debloated, choice of kernel and which apps to install or not and more in aroma installer. Magisk is included.
About safetynet: as others have recommended, use magisk 16. Works with every ROM I tried, Fromm MM to O.
I'm on Lineage 15.1 now, with CleanROM as secondary via multirom (for the stock camera, but safetynet won't work on secondary). But the other Oreo ROMs work nicely, too.
Did anyone tried xposed module in Redmi Note 5 (China) MIUI 9.5.12 (Oreo 8.1). I flashed Magisk successfully but I can't make xposed work, everytime I tried it gave me bootloop. I tried systemless magisk xposed module and also direct flashing xposed sdk27 zip but none worked for me.

It might need some device-specific modification, btw, why do you want to use xposed, maybe you could find some alternative to the modules you use...

Because I want to use GarvityBox like module or a module which will allow me to unlock MIUI rom with fingerprint after first bootup , now I have to use pin unlock first after everytime I restart MUI Rom and I am also using RR rom side by side so can't put any kind of lock in RR rom.
Hi, i have Redmi Note 5 Global Version and i´m on Global 9.5.13 (Oreo 8.1).
Anybody knows if there is already a working xposed framework or will there be no xposed framework working with miui?
Facing Same Problem Device is not booting up after flashing Xposed.
Ever tried lazzy flasher it didn't work too.
i also need xposed. rovo88 already aware of problem since early this year still no fix. who do we tell? miui or keep asking rovo88 for fix. i said miui cause rovo88 found that miui has moved some files.
