Which Bootloader&Modem/Stock Firmware can I flash? (T805) - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I have a Canadian T805 (RWC) and it hasn't got the MM update yet, which stock firmware/BL&MDM can I flash without bricking?

You can find firmwares here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T805/
Although on SamMobile you never see United States or Canada so RIP?
EDIT: You might be able to find Canada here, IDK: https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-T805/

Did samsung ever release kit Kat for US version?

I've looked on their site and sammobile.com and can't find one. Just want to install the stock and root it. Since it's wifi anyway, can I just install the Canadian or UK version?
ETA: 8.0 SM T310 version, forgot this forum isn't specific
Hello.
I found this thread, maybe it answers your question: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2435929
It says that "XAR is Cellular South which is a USA one", then from Sammobile: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T310/XAR/
And also I think you can install Canadian / UK version, there should not be problems.

You can easily install 4.4.2 from other countries, if you have SM-T310.

Upgrade SM-N975U with ATT to Android 10

Hey guys, so my question is how can I upgrade my Note 10 plus to Android 10, I have the SM-N975U model with ATT, i live outside the US so the person who sold me the phone unlocked it, the thing is that I was checking the original firmware for this model in Sammobile but alm versions are from different carriers (Verizon, Xfinity, etc) I didn't find the one for ATT. Does this make a difference? which firmware should I download?
Just follow this thread. You can use T-Mobile or Verizon firmware. All the same but Just use Home CSC for no data loss. You will not find the AT&T firmware using Frija or Sammobile (or anywhere unless someone extracts it & posts).
Check this thread out.

Hi mate. I don't know if it's gonna help, but I live in UK and I had 975U too which was on Android 9.
System didn't allowed me to update it, probably cause it was on AT&T so I followed a tutorial on yt and updated it to 975U1 Android 10.
EDIT:
N975U and N975U1 Firmware Links Here
For those who aren't already aware, N975U is the model number of all of the US carrier versions of the Note 10+. The N975U1 is the model number of the same device, but sold by Samsung SIM unlocked and with no carrier bloatware. Firmware is 100%...

Flashing firmware on different model

Hi all,
1- I have S20 ultra G9880 model. But I'm using it in Egypt so my provider csc is different than the firmware's csc. Since then, I never recieved OTA updates although there were multiple updates and I had to download the whole firmware and install it with odin. So is there a way to get OTA updates back to work?
2- I read on some other websites that there is a way to flash firmware from different model (for example G988U) on any snapdragon based model (like the one I had) but this has to be done with a patched Odin so it will ignore the model differences. My question is, is this correct? if so can some one post the link to this patched odin ? or is there another way to flash a firmware of different model but with snapdragon processor in it?
Thanks in advance
I've not heard of this being possible before. But even if it were possible, flashing the firmware for the US model, wouldn't do you any good either, since that firmware doesn't have support for Egypt either. On top of that, the US model supports different bands that your phone doesn't, hence the difference in the modem.

Well, I wanted to install the US firmware mainly to be able to use the One UI 3.0 beta.
If there is another way to install it on my phone without flashing the US firmware then I'd be grateful to know
Sounds like a recipe for a disaster...

Did you flash the same Firmware (CSC) to get OTA's? Samsung sends updates, not your service provider regardless of your location so it's odd you're not receiving them.
On the SM-G9880 there are only 3 FW's compatible for flashing, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Android 11, One Ul 3.0 isn't yet available for your device however the Source Code is online. Likely you're better off waiting a bit longer, it should be available for your device by the end of the year.

With respect to updates if you own a PC often times Samsung's Smart Switch platform will distribute these before OTA's become avaliable which eliminates the need to flash your device.
