[RECOVERY] TWRP 3.0.2-0 for Mediapad M2 8.0

Here is TWRP for the M2 8.0. I ported this from the Mediapad X2 and added multiple languages and updated the kernel to the latest B215 one. This works on Android 6.0 (EMUI 4.0) Flash this in fastboot after unlocking your bootloader with DC-unlocker. Included is my black & blue theme.

When you get it you'll be good to go. My friend gave me his M2 (I developed for the X2, Mate 8 and currently the Mi Max) I plan on having a stock, rooted Rom with bloat removed in the works shortly.

is it working on M2 10 LTE?

Hello, i'm having an issue. I installed this recovery and it partitioned my internal to give 4gb of system app space. However, the remaining 8gb for internal space will not show up. And I'm not sure how to get it back. I tried to go through the recovery, but it only will partition removable partitions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The camera is no better than Stock camera but it works decent.

Not able to installl in my Elephone ko5te_a
Hello,
I have Elephoone A version , the first version released. Rooted with superSU, and installed TWRP 3.0.2 by Jemmini recovery . Now running on android marshmallow rom.
I tried to install this Lineage rom using TWRP recovery. It failed to install saying that signal 11 error and not detecting contents.
So is there anyway to install this rom in my Elephone P 8000.
Kindly help.

First you need to downgrade your phone to android 5.. Android nougat can only be installed from android 5.

fingerprint sensor does not work. And yes, it supports multi languages.

As i thinking good, this phone have treble support. Bur my questions is: why there is only one custom rom? Im moving grom Alice (Huawei P8 lite) to Daisy, and P8 lite have much more custom roms. Do you have any begginer guide for this phone? (Like best gcam version od sth) ;p

I'm using Havoc OS now. It's very good and comes with notch compatible(gapps)
Go to guides and news tab and you see there how to install gsi roms

Whichever GSI I've installed had major lags, which made it unusable for me. Especially when opening an app from recents. Stock is the most fluid, so I got stuck with it.

Mi A2 Lite supports project treble, so it should be able to boot GSI without any hiccups. But here we are...

Sorry for my bad english
before installing twrp or any modification, you have to unlock bootloader (this will erase your data but it's not important you will delete while flashing)

I used the method you mentioned but Havoc and PixelDust ROM were lagging . Is it me, or do you have small lags too?

Yes i had lags like you and it is boring as f*ck
When i heard the 10.0.3.0 is released, i moved to that quickly
Havoc OS Is funny but it is laggy
I'm in stock rom right now and it is really fast and not laggy

I hated the square UI on stock, so I rooted the phone with Magisk and installed Substratum. Now I'm using Pixel theme on play store it's free and awesome. No more boring colors and ugly square corners. [If you want to install a substratum theme, make sure it supports Pie, otherwise the device will bootloop ]

moto z2 play Android 9?

I'm looking for ROM with Android 9 pie for moto z2 play device I tried several methods by GSI I tried the KVT and tried all but no ROMs like Lineage OS and mokee OS, resurrection remix OS and other ROMs work fine but the method by GSI gave fail and all say that date is corrupted wanted to know if it has any ROM available with Android 9 need help installing a GSI on the device someone from the forum can help me.

LineageOS is the one that I use, at the moment there is only 2 Publish of Android 9.0, and both are bad the truth. the action is completed so far is the lineageOS of all that you have installed

I do not understand so far have some OS lieage being developed with Android 9.0 or have some different installation method because I could not by GSI or the device does not start or the message encryption or error in the part that says the data is corrupted I wanted in fact a simpler way to install a new patch

does anyone have any ROM with Android 9.0 running that can pass the rom link or some more effective method to install Android 9.0 on the device

What TWRP do you use?

doesn't flashing KVT and then flashing Rom work for you??

but what should I do if the KVT does not work what would be the best procedure

can someone tell you if you have a ROM 9.0 being developed or somehow efficient to install a GSI without giving problems or teaching the most effective way

Firstly, start learning how to code and as you learn enough, dig through the works of our existing developers, take some pieces from there and the develope a pie rom which you can give it to us for testing and at last you will have a rom with Pie. Should take much time.

Go to TWRP, the go for the wipe option and to the right of the advanced wipe option, you will find format data option, select that and all your data will be erased and then flash your KVT and then GSI

the KVT is giving error when I give fash it installs normally and then the GSI but when it starts it appears the message saying that the phone is encrypted but being that I do not use encryption and after. low to say that the data system is corrupted I do not know what to do
