Unboxing
Archeer provides lots of accessories in the Camera Package: 1 x Archeer FI-366 Wireless IP Cloud Camera, 1 x Bracket, 1 x Wi-Fi Antenna, 1 x 5V/2A 100-240V Power Adapter, 1x Network Cable, 1 x Pack of Screws, 1 x User Manual, 1x UK/EU Converter (at least in my package)
As regards the Camera itself, it has a full-plastic chassis that might not seem so solid, but it is solid enough considering that this is something you won't touch frequently. (usually attached to the wall)
On the front side there is the LEDs Area (Wi-Fi, Power and Ethernet).
About the Rotating Camera, it is an almost 360 degrees variant as regards the Horizontal Rotation, and almost 90 degrees as regards the Vertical Rotation. As you can see, it features Manual Focus, 12x Infrared LEDs together with a Light Sensor in order to provide Night (or low-light) vision and 1x Microphone.
On the back side there are many ports, with just one function button: 1x DC IN, 1x Ethernet Port, 1x Alarm Port, 1x MicroSD slot, 1x Wi-Fi Antenna, 1x 3.5mm Audio IN, 1x 3.5mm Audio OUT, 1x Function Button.
On the left side (or right side depending on your viewing angle) there is a Speaker Hole hidden.
Device
Camera Sensor Quality
I don't know which sensor has been used, but the quality doesn't seem to be so bad for a 720p Camera. The Manual Focus is a bit annoying because might not allow to produce super-sharp videos but...this is a WiFi Camera, not an Action Camera or any professional camcorder.
I have recorded two videos, both at 720P Quality, with and without Infrared LEDs active. (Night Vision off/on)
This video has been streamed to my device using the WiFi Connection, so this has been saved directly on my device and not on the MicroSD that you can insert if you want. As you can see the Quality isn't too bad, what impressed me is the amount of details captured with Night Vision enabled, impressive. Ok it isn't smooth, a bit stuttery, but this has been streamed in real-time so you can't expect a 100% smooth video especially at 720P.
If you want a Smooth Video, it is possible to choose the "smooth" Option in the app, reducing the resolution. I'll talk about the app in the next paragraph.
WiFi Cloud App: MIPC
Wi-Fi App called MIPC enables this camera to be controlled using an Android or iOS smartphone.
The App is pretty well-made, even if it has an iOS look even on Android...
Anyway, it works perfectly, it might not have a perfect UI, but all features are working and i haven't experienced any crash or instability. Considering that this is a Chinese app, it is well supported even on foreign markets.
In the real-time streaming mode, it is possible to start recording, take a snapshot of the current frame and other features.
Conclusions
This WiFi Camera is well-made, even though it might not have the best materials, it is complete providing some high-quality videos even with low-light conditions. Maybe an internal battery would have been appreciated, but it would increase the price (that isn't low though).
So, do I recommend it? Yes, this is definitely a good product even though the price is a bit high.
Pros:
- Excellent Low Light/Night Vision Quality
- Well-Made WiFi Remote App
- Smooth Video Option Available
Cons:
- Noisy Rotational Motors
- Price is bit too high

Hardware
This device is powered by a Novatek NT96660 Chipset with a Sony IMX078 Sensor, so 16MP Resolution is interpolated from 12MP. Maybe the box is right, you can read 12MP here, but official specs together with the software say 16MP.
Official Specs are not so complete, so i do not anything else about the camera. Anyway, i am sure that this is a re-branded SJ8000/SJ9000 with a new firmware.
Unboxing
As most of all Action Camera, its packaging comes with lots of accessories:
1 x Action Camera (of cours
1 x Multi-language Manual
2 x 900mAh Li-ion Battery
1 x Waterproof Housing
1 x Camera Front Cover
1 x 90 Degree Adapter
1 x Bicycle Bracket
1 x Cleaning Cloth
1 x Camera Clip
2 x Helmet Base
2 x 3M Adhesive
1 x USB Cable
1 x Rear Clip
3 x Adapters
2 x Bandage
1 x Base
Following the usual GoPro design, this camera fits inside GoPro accessories and is pretty compact. Just 5.89x4.09x2.46mm.
On the front side there is the Power/Mode button, some words about the camera and the big fish-eye lens.
On the the right side there are the Selection Buttons, up/down, used to manage the menu, increase-decrease zoom, etc...
On the back side there are: the display, not IPS, with a decent resolution, and two LEDs for Power & Activity.
On the upper side there is the OK button with a Yellow LED that seems to be pretty useless because works just like the Activity LED placed on the front.
On the lower side there is just the battery slot covered by the battery door.
Device
Screen
The screen is bright, but being a TN variant, not IPS, the viewing angles are pretty bad. Maybe a better quality display would have been much better.
Camera Sensor Quality
As regards the Sony IMX078 sensor, well...it works sufficiently good for Videos up to 1080p. After 1080p there are no noticeable Quality Differences even though the resolution is higher. All videos have been recorded with Gyro RSC feature, that is Software Stabilization.
Unfortunately, just like on almost all Chinese Action Cameras, the 4K resolution is not real, but interpolated from 2K. Basically, anything over 2K is useless with this Camera Sensor and Chipset. There is no native 4K resolution supported here.
1080p 60fps quality is pretty good, real 60fps video, smooth and with a nice quality.
720p 120fps is weird, this is what is used for Slow Motion and it is definitely broken. The video is saved at 720p 30fps, and the slow motion quality is pretty bad. I would have expected something better.
All other resolutions are not useful to be tested, but you can see almost all supported video res.
I don't know why they call this Stabilization "Gyro" when there is no gyroscope or electronic stabilization here, this is weird. Anyway, it works good enough even if it is software-only, still better than nothing.
Microphone Quality seems to be decent, no complains about it and the speaker quality is surprisingly crisp.
Photos Resolution goes up to 16MP, interpolated from 12MP.
WiFi Feature
The Wi-Fi feature enables this camera to be controlled using an Android or iOS smartphone, using the GizCam GZ20 app.
The App isn't great, old UI and no features at all, but it works completely with no issues at all.
It supports remote playback of stored files, pretty useful for those who do not want to switch the MicroSD card.
Battery Life
The 900mAh battery seems to be hard-to-discharge, i managed to record all test videos and i still have to discharge the first battery! This is awesome, real 900mAh power is here, or maybe even more. Great Battery Life.
Charging Times are high though, it took more than 2 hours to recharge a battery, so please be patient with this process.
Software
The software is easy to use, and features some nice options such as Car Mode, Motion Detection and so on...
Conclusions
Being my first Action Camera review you might have expected something better, and please tell me if you need to know anything else. After all these tests, and considering the price of this camera, i'm not sure if this is a best-buy. The price is too high, even though the quality is decent.
So, do I recommend it? If you can't find anything better at this price, yes, but remember that this won't provide real 4K videos.
Pros:
Great Battery Life
GoPro Accessories Compatible
Bright Screen
Lots of Accessories included
Awesome 1080p 60fps Quality
Cons:
4K 24fps Videos are not real
720p 120fps Slow Motion is weird
No IPS screen
Price is too high

Hardware
This device is powered by a Novatek NT96658 Chipset with a Sony IMX323 Sensor. Just like most products from China, including smartphones, it is common to use interpolation to increase the resolution of photos, so 12MP Resolution is interpolated from 2.19MP. Video Resolution goes up to 1080p30.
Official Specs together with Box Ones.
Unboxing
As most of all Action Camera, its packaging comes with some accessories: 1x User Manual, 1x Car 12V to 5V Charger, 1x Mini (yes, not Micro) USB Cable, 1x Mounting Base, 2x 3M Adhesive Pads and the Dash Cam (of course).
Written in the previous specifications image, you can read the size of the camera, 83 x 69 x 38 mm, just a pretty standard size for this type of Dash Cams.
On the front side there is the Speaker Grill, the 2.45 inches IPS Display (high quality) and all Navigation Buttons required to use the camera.
On the the right side there is the Power Button, three holes for 2x LEDs (one for charging, one for power) and the Micro-SD (still called TF) Slot that supports up to 64GB Cards based on the specs.
On the left side there is 1x AV OUT port (cable not included, or missing in my box), 1x Mini-USB Port and an Hole for the Reset Button.
On the back side there is the base slot required to mount the camera, and two dissipation vents. Hidden under the base there is the battery.
On the lower side there are just two holes, required for the microphone (i guess 2x Microphones for Stereo Recording).
Device
Camera Sensor Quality
This is the first time i test this Camera Sensor from Sony, the IMX323. Based on the spec-sheet available online, it is a budget version of the IMX322, and the result is damn impressive. I would like to have the same quality on Action Cameras too.
Here you can see some sample videos i recorded during my trip, unfortunately i lost most of the footage because i am an idiot and i kept the camera turned on at home (while charging...auto power-on...epic fail...) so everything has been overwritten. Luckily while using the Dash Camera using WiFi, everything gets saved as Read-Only, so this is what i managed to save.
This is a shorter sample video, with different light conditions and with some static parts.
Here you can see all most important supported video resolutions. Maximum 1080p30 as already said before.
Photos Resolution goes up to 12MP, interpolated from 2.19MP.
WiFi Feature
The Wi-Fi feature enables this camera to be controlled using an Android or iOS smartphone, using the dedicated app, called Lerccerker.
The App isn't bad at all, but it isn't made specifically for this camera, so it looks a bit generic and too much unpolished. Something annoying is that you need to disable any Mobile Data connection in order to get the app connected to the camera. (running Android 7.1.1 on a LeEco Le 2 X527)
It is available on the Play Store (for Android users of course)
Battery Life
The 300mAh battery is just insufficient in my opinion, i was barely able to record 15 minutes of video with a full-charge at 1080p30, and sometimes it lasts even less. I don't know if this is an isolated issue.
Something sure is that there is enough room inside the chassis to fit an Action Camera battery, that would create an huge difference in battery life.
Software
The software is easy to use, and features some nice options such as Park Guard, Loop Recording and so on...
Most features are available on Action Cameras too, the most important feature here is the mentioned Park Guard mode, that is useful when the Dash Cam detects a movement, and as soon as a movement gets detected, it starts recording.
Again, this feature is seriously impacted by the low battery life mentioned before, so it might not work in a reliable way or it may just stop functioning after a while. I recommended to keep the camera connected to the charger if you plan to use this feature.
Conclusions
Just like what i say for any new type of product i review, this is the first time i review a Dash Cam, so if there is something that i missed or you want to ask me, fell free to write a post on the bottom and i will reply you.
This is a pretty interesting product, with some smart features and excellent video quality that makes it different from others. I am still confused about the battery life though.
So, do I recommend it? As long as you don't mind about the battery life, and you can keep the camera connected to the charger, then yes!
I don't regret it, and i plan to use it every time i drive (rarely because i don't have a personal car) to keep track of any possible accident (or just record the panorama).
Pros:
Great Screen Quality
Excellent Videos Quality
Optimal Field-of-View
Doesn't lack any feature
Cons:
Disappointing Battery Life
Messy Default Settings
The power-off procedure gets stuck sometimes

Unboxing
Unlike some other non-smart equivalents, this one doesn't include any extra accessory in the box, containing: 1x 12V Power Adapter, 1x User Manual and the device itself. That's it! No dispenser or cleaning tool is included.
The build quality is decent, but not superb. Being 100% made of plastic, at least for the chassis, it can't fell premium of course, but this is normal for this kind of products. Something not normal is the way all plastic parts are cut, definitely not as good as i would have expected.
Starting from the front side, there are five buttons used to configure and manage the device. I like that the manufacturer left all manual controls even if this is a Smart Device. As you can notice, there are also lots of LEDs that indicate the current status, timer, power and mode.
On the back there is only the power connector, while on the lower side there is a small fan and lots of holes for heat dissipation.
As regards the transparent parts over the buttons and on the top side, this is where the RGB LED light do the "magic". First of all, the brightness isn't super-high, thus i had to take a photo with no in-room light. I know, the photo is noisy, but i had no other ways to let you see it.
Usage
Being a Smart Home device, it requires a dedicated app to manage all controls. The app is called "Oittm Smart", at least on the Play Store, and works perfect, with Amazon Alexa and Google Home compatibility. Unfortunately both services are not available yet in Italy so i won't be able to test them.
The app is well-made, with no noticeable issues neither translation errors, and there are lots of features. Of course it isn't made only for this humdifier, but for the whole Oittm eco-system.
It is possible to add scenes linked to the WiFi connection and so on, everything synced online.
Here a video where i show all the real-time changes using the app. It is vertical because, unfortunately, the app doesn't support landscape mode.
Conclusions
Some of my followers know that i am gradually making my, or better my parents's, home smarter and smarter day by day, and this is only the beginning.
This smart humidifier, or "aroma essential oil diffuser" as they call it (dammit soo many words), does his main job brillantly, and the smart management works perfect thanks to a well-developed application. It doesn't mean that it is perfect though, since build quality isn't superb, and LED brightness can't be adjusted.
So, do i recommend it? Yes, it is a valid smart home device.
Pros:
- Well-Developed App
- Google Home and Amazon Alexa compatible
- Easy to configure and manage
Cons:
- Fixed LED Brightness
- Mediocre Build Quality
Rating: 8.6
Packaging and Accessories: 7.5

Another smart home stuff
Now the industry of a smart house is developing by leaps and bounds. Especially with Amazon.
Amazon recently published the news that they are developing a smart AR mirror. In addition to displaying weather, time, web search, etc. Its main function will be that it will show in real time how one or another outfit will look at you, taking into account the physics of the fabric and the movements of the operator's body.
P.S. The oil diffuser is useful thing)

}
Unboxing
Just like all Koogeek products, also this one comes with no accessories: 4x AA Alkaline Batteries, 1x User Manual, 1x Quality Certificate, 1x Warranty Certificate and the product itself.
Similar to most high-quality scales, this one features a solid build required to handle the weight (up to 150kg declared) and they declare to be using a tempered glass for the surface, something i can't confirm unfortunately because i managed to scratch and leave marks on it pretty easily (slightly visible in the photo). The plastic used for the corners and for the whole chassis is as good as it should and with a nice silver painting.
The upper surface hides all sensors and most important, the display. It is pretty bright and sharp, with all indicators for Bluetooth and WiFi connections.
Here you can see the display. (the camera struggles to focus properly on it)
On the lower side there is the slot for all batteries where a reset button is also located, and there is a useful QR Code to download the app easily.
Usage
Just like the other Blood Pressure Monitor, also with this one there are three ways to handle the scale:
1) Without BT/WiFi (but it would not make any sense).
2) Using BT that trasmits data to the Koogeek App in real-time.
3) Using WiFi that transmits data to the Koogeek Server in order to sync everything even without having access to the app or smartphone.
Thanks to the Koogeek Ecosystem, it is possible to use a single-app for all Smart Health devices, and the app is well-made, available on the Play Store and also constantly updated for bug-fixes.
The dashboard is complete with all info about each result, and each one provides an high amount of details since this scale supports 8 different measurements: Weight (well...of course), BMI, Body Fat, Lean Mass, Body Water, Bone Mass, Visceral Fat and BMR.
In order to use all features it is required to connect the device and register for an account where all data such as Height, Birth Date and so on must be added. Different users can be added for multi-user usage.
Google Fit is also supported, useful for those who prefer to keep everything synced in the same app, and, finally, notifications have been implemented so that a new result gets notified instantly.
It is also possible, for those who have a child, to measure the child's weight using the specific feature.
Conclusions
Koogeek products keep impressing me for the ecosystem, well made with a decent app available, even though the build quality is not as good as i would have expected compared to the premium Smart Blood Pressure Monitor i have tested before.
As already said, i am getting into this Smart Health/Home world, and i am really appreciating the way all these devices are getting better and better, and also more accessible to everyone. Something about battery life will be added as soon as the included batteries gets discharged.
So, do i recommend it? Yes, unless you are already part of another ecosystem from another brand.
Pros:
- Solid with a great design
- Dual Connection BT/WiFi
- Well-Made Smart Health app
Cons:
- Easy to scratch surface
- Lack of premium touch-and-feel
Rating: 8.3

Unboxing
First of all, ignore the package's conditions since, well, this is how i got the package from the courier. Luckily everything was fine inside. Anyway, just like the previous A320 i reviewed last year, this one comes with the same amount of accessories: 1x Micro-USB Cable, 1x 3.5mm Audio Cable, 1x Kit of Rubber Pads, 1x Protective Pouch and the Speaker (of course).
Also as regards the design and materials, everything looks exactly the same, with a nice bamboo-style front, some sort of fabric all around the device. Everything is well-made, with no imperfections (even better than the A320) and a great attention to details.
The whole back side features the same bamboo-style look with an air output (for the Subwoofer) on the bottom and the I/O Zone in the middle.
In the I/O Zone, completely rubberized so a bit easy to scratch, there is an AUX/Audio Input 3.5mm connector (just like a standard headphone jack) required to use the device in wired mode, a Reset Button, a Red LED that turns on while the built-in battery is charging and a Micro-USB port (for charging).
On the lower side instead there isn't anything at all, with just a sticker (that can be removed) with some data about the device.
As regards the Speakers, just like on the A320, there is a Subwoofer in the center and one speaker/tweeters for each side. It is said that, compared to the predecessor, the quality has been improved slightly. Is it true? Well, follow my next paragraph to know more.
On the upper side instead there are all Keys (Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause, Power), and an Activity/Connection LED with a Microphone just below.
Sound Quality
Compared to the A320, what Archeer says is slightly true, i notice an higher amount of high frequencies while keeping low frequencies reasonably high. But, it doesn't mean that it is perfect since it isn't at all. This is still a speaker made for bass-lovers, with the most punchy sound you can probably get from a bluetooth speaker and terribly high sound pressure.
Of course this means that there is a lot of output power there, and this is true, as you can see from this photo taken while running my classical Dolby Sound test.
Still, i would have preferred to get a switchable equalizer in order to switch from a full-bass to a more balanced mode in order to satisfy all kinds of users.
But, the main reason why i choose to get this new A320S model instead of keeping my old A320 is the TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode, with the possibility to pair to speakers together in order to get the best sound experiece. Does it work properly? Yes, super-fast to configure and, together, the output power gets even higher. Technically, you get 25W x 2, with a total of 50W! My sound meter isn't even able to record the difference, but some decibels extra are here.
Controls and Connectivity
Unlike the A320, on this model there seems to be a Microphone, and my smartphone confirms it since Phone Calls are supported too. This is an huge improvement even though the result is not the best, but still better than nothing.
Unfortunately there is no Bluetooth Version upgrade or APT-X support addition with this new model, thus it still works on Bluetooth V4.0. It isn't bad, but you will never be able to get the same audio quality you can get using the wired connection instead.
Let's say that an small Bluetooth Version upgrade plus the addition of an Optical Audio Input would have made this device almost perfect.
Conclusions
After many days of testing, i might say that this isn't a product for everyone and, most important, if you already have the A320 model and don't need, or can't afford, to get two A320s for the Stereo Feature, then it would be useless to get it.
I am partially happy of this new model, and i say partially because i would have expected an higher amount of upgrades, especially considering that this is still a pretty expensive piece of technology.
This is a product, or better a niche product, that i can recommend to those audiophiles with super-high bass "in the blood", but for those who prefer a more clear and high-pitched sound that can't use an equalizer to reduce the amount of low frequencies, then this might not be the right product.
Pros:
- Built-in Microphone
- Good Battery Life
- Outstanding Power Output
- Supported Dual Speaker pairing (TWS)
Cons:
- High frequencies are still limited
- No Optical Input
- Outdated Bluetooth Version with no APT-X support
Rating: 8.7
Packaging and Accessories: 9.5
Design and Materials: 10
Sound Quality: 9.1
Connectivity: 7
Price: 8 (based on Amazon price)
