In my experience, Gearbest does not vet what they sell so it's buyer beware. I find it about the same as buying from eBay.

If you looking for nexus 5 batteries I highly suggest this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NCJMQXK/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1. True OEM no problems at all.

Good timing, i was searching for the same thing and saw this ad as well. Not sure if it legit or not... anyone order from this seller before?

He he,
I might order one. I'm going back to school next week so I'll be able to test the real capacity of these batteries with a multimeter

I've seen lots on ebay that are excellent counterfeits, some of which work as well as the genuine part. For example, I once bought a phone battery that looked exactly the same as the original, except for the quality of the hologram and two small typos, and it held a charge better than the original battery that came with the phone.
So it may well be worthwhile even if it's not genuine.
Hopefully they have nfc support....
A wise man once told me, "You don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for!" $8 for a genuine Samsung battery - when they retail at $30 for a device that is still very popular, I would think twice. Spend the extra $20 for a legit battery.
Just my 2 cents.
Well I can always return it

Ask around at the other thread for the sprint 2100mAh battery if you have a cdma variant. Im using one now and a lot of people ordered extras over there.

i always buy the cheapest batteries i can find, you can order 3 or 4 and it still will cost less than one direct from samsung and you get much more battery life total
I bought two that looked identical to one on eBay. No nfc though.. I told the dude they were fake and he gave me my money back. So I got 2 free batteries that look stock with no nfc... beware of cheap batteries from sellers in Hong Kong...

Same thing happened with me. Just got the battery. Was a fake and I got my refund. But the battery seems pretty decent in holding charge. Well see how it does in a few weeks

Will the above battery work with the standard european model of Samsung Galaxy?
I need a new ekstra battery. Don't care if it has NFC or not. I just don't wan't it to be bigger than the standard one. Please post some links to sellers if the above don't work.
Thanks.

Indeed very cheap. But one problem, they don't deliver to Europe, Denmark.
Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place to buy one of these sim free? Must be a UK model and from a reputable seller/company.
Thanks.

You can pick it up for around £440 on amazon. Which is a full £100 cheaper than it was a month ago.
Amazon the best.
Best price and best service.
I noticed the Amazon prices, but the sellers aren't fullfilled by Amazon. Do you think I would have any probs if I had to return it under warranty as Amazon direct are really good with returns but their own price is £509 atm.
Thanks again...

Question: can any model battery of the gn2 series be used in the sprint model? I.e. n7100 or do you have to make sure to use a carrier specific model extended battery? Thanks in advance for your insights.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
Ok Thanks. The reason that I ask is that I recently purchased an extended battery of eBay and I didn't notice that the title said n7100 battery, so I was curious to find our if certain gn2 models had exclusive batteries.

You can use any of them. I have the Hyperion 6200mAh extended battery which is great, and the back cover is not as bad as people say it is but definitely not as good as the original.
Cheers

Yes I agree I bought a cheap ebay extended and it was horrible. Get on Amazon and get the Hyperion the other guy is talking about it is amazing I love it over my ebay one. If I hadn't bought a protective case and wanted to save money I would have gotten the Zerolemon instead but the Hyperion is hard to get below 50% in a full day with heavy use.

If you are looking for zerolemon get it from amazon. Thats where the company actually sells it from. Also cheaprr than ebay.

+1 on zerolemon 9300 mAh from Amazon. Little thicker and heavier but blows all others away

It's always safer to buy new. Gamestop usually tests their stuff, and if it doesn't work, you can always return it. I would personally buy new from amazon, though.

Thanks for the reply but I have long since bought it. I had got a new one from GameStop but it had a screen defect, I had I to send it in to Asus. Now I have a perfect one! Such a big upgrade pfrom the first gen IMO.
