Hi
I'm not sure I understand the transcend SD card and its capabilities. I've formatted my 64GB SD card to transcend and only the transcend card shows up when I connect with PC. I have 46GB free space, yet often when I try to load an app, I'm getting an "insufficient space" notification. Obviously, there's still a limitation on internal phone space, but I can't see a breakdown in file explorer. I had hoped to free up space by moving my music (13GB) to the SD card, but since there's only the transcend card showing, it's already there.
What am I missing, please and where do I need to go to free up some "internal" space, when I show 46GB free??
Many thanks

Hello there..
I bought SDHC transcent class 10 16 GB..
my problem is I cant move application from internal storage to sd card..
but when I put musics and video clips to external sd card, I can play it...
anyone can help me??
There's nothing wrong with your card or tablet. Honeycomb utilizes the external SD card differently than previous versions of Android, in that the card is mounted as mnt/external_sd and the "built-in" internal memory is displayed as sdcard. Because of this, apps like App2SD won't work. I'd suggest two options:
First is to try crossix's memory swap mod, which switches the storage names so your microSD card becomes "sdcard".

You can also use the app GL to SD. It moves the large data files from games (like those from Gameloft) to the external card to free up internal memory.
Noob here, I have one simple question. I recently purchased a Class 10 Sandisk 32gb microSD card because I was running out of space in my internal SD card (mostly because of pictures/videos). So I formatted and inserted the card into my phone and was expecting more storage space but whenever I try to take pictures or save anything it says it has insufficient space. In "storage" it says the 29.7 GB free and none of it has been used. How do I tell my phone which is running on CM10 stable, to utilize my microSD now that it has no more space?
Thank you very much for you time.
When I installed stuff, I get a toaster that says I have 1.xx MB of storage left...... on a brand new 64GB SD card, lol.
Is that because I formatted the card to Fat32 instead of exFat?
Can I just ignore the toaster?
i've been getting that on my note 2 about the internal storage. there's 4GB free and 12GB on the SD card. it's only when i'm updating market apps.
I've been getting the same message. One thing that I've noticed is that within the Managing Apps section of Settings, the category listing of SD Card has about 12 apps listed but when I go to the app details it asks if I want to move to SD. Pretty strange...especially since I haven't installed any apps to the SD.

If the card is 64GB then you need exFAT to address all 64GB. I ran out of app space on my first unit and it started rebooting. I returned and have way more apps intalled on my new one with no issues. Hope this helps.
I get this message too and I have no SD card installed. I can't find any indication anywhere else in the device that any part of my storage is limited to the insanely small amount that is shown in that pop up after installing an app. By all other accounts I have at least half of the storage capacity left on this tablet.
Hi,
i have a 16 GB Sandisk MicroSD for my SGS4. This card contains lots of music and photos and some games (like solitare, Riptide, Asphalt etc)
Now, i bought a new 64Gb SanDisk MicroSD for SGS4.
i copied all the folders from the 16Gb card and pasted in my new 64 Gb card. Power off the sgs4 and replaced the card and powered on.
phone was successfully booted up and am able to see everything like pics, music etc. but am not able to see any of the games which i moved to the sd card. it says application not installed.
So, my questions is how can i transfer the games also to my new SD card? appreciate your help
Any one please. i tried different methods, but none of them seem to be working.

I think it has to do with something with the sd card partition, because most 64 gb micro sd card has that issue, so you're not the only one, i have a similar issue, where my music is affected and most of my files (besides picture) are unreadable,in addition, try using a rom or kernel with exFat compatiability, and then try and use your sd card and see if some files work, it somewhat worked for me. But i'll be honest, what good is a 64 gb card if we can't use it?
Hi.
My wife has already in use the Nokia 5.1 for a while. At that time we have also used a 64GB SD card and formatted it as internal memory. Thus, just under 80GB should be available as one drive.
However, the additional memory of the SD card is obviously not used, because although almost 60 GB continue to be free, the mobile phone complains about missing memory if you want to make photos or install apps.
The attempt to format the SD card as external memory brought no improvement, especially as apps like the camera can not access it then.
What do you have to do so that the storage space of the SD card is attached to the internal memory and is used by the mobile phone?
Thanks in advance.
