Hi,
I always forget my own Phone-Number, so I have to search it when somebody asks me.
Is there a Way to show my own Phone-Number in my Home-Tab(Manila2.5).
Perhabs in the small Bar which shows your Provider(e.g. "T-Mobile") right above the Clock.
I would be thankfull for all sugestions.

I think if you go to settings/personal/owner info and there you can write your names, phone adress and etc... then you can choice in your home screen to be writed the owner info and this way will be writen your name phone and etc.. im not sure about the phone number but i think all the info you wrote will apear on the today screen just try by yourself
Solution..
Hi Nemesis,
Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=625483 and download
Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.6.1.cab
After instalation, open a registry editor on the phone and go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\
In this folder look for "Co0kie.CustomOperatorName", open this item and enter your phone number in the "string" box.
P.S. Make sure you answer with yes, when asked for save confirmation.
Reboot your phone..
Voila..now you have you're phone number displayed in manila's home screen, where you would normally find your operator name.
P.S.
If you really miss your operator name..just go back to the regeistry and re-edit the values to look like this: "Your operator name" - "phone number"
Hi,
Or you can use personalizer from thread 359563. App changes operator name to whatever you like.

Newer version.
Personalizer 3.1 here:
Will this Personaliser work for HTC Touch2 (T3333) ?
Sorry found it by myself.
I'm not sure what you found, but there are 3 ways.
Choose the option when you post (below submit).
Choose to subscribe to an existing thread (thread tools at the top right).
Set your default in the User CP.
Dave
Thank you,it's helping.
Hello. I new to android and i want to ask you something.
I synced my contacts with htcsync3 and now on my desire my contacts is shown as "Last name - First name" instead of "First name - Last name".
- How can i multi change the way contacts is shown ?
When i am on dial screen and trying to find some person i found that some letters is assigned in wrong number. For example :
The letter "M" is found in button with number 6 but it should be in number 5.
The letter "Ω" is found in button with number 6 but it should be in number 9.
The letter "υ" is found in button with number 9 but it should be in number 8.
Whats the file that i need to edit to fix that ?
Thanks.

Small tutorial on how to edit custom accents in WP7 by registry editing!!
THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO COULDNT GET A CUSTOM ACCENT VIA HOMEBREW APPS!!
(ESPECIALLY LUMIA USERS...THEY GET ERRORS WHILE SAVING CUSTOM ACCENTS VIA HOMEBREW APPS!)
before editing....get advanced config tool from Devstore7 or wherever and go to themes and select add new...youll b given a colour palette....select the colour and it will show u Hexadecimal code at the top (starts with #F)...copy that and go to Calculator('calc' from run) and change the view to programmer...select Hex and enter the code without '#'....now with the code pasted select the Dec and it will give a 10 digit code (starts with 428, 427 or whatever)....this code is the main thing....NOTE it!!
Now go to registry editor (i use WP7RootTools by heathcliff74)
The path to theme and accents folder is (Local Machine\Control Panel\Themes)..Enterthe themes folder
Now u get 3 folders named 0 ,1 and AccentDisplayName
Below that u get two files named Current Accent and Current Theme
If current theme value is 1 it represents dark background. If it is 0 then white background
Now if u want a custom accent in dark background go to folder 1 or if u want it with a white background got to folder 0....and then enter the folder ACCENTS located in Folder (0 or 1)
You will be given numbers from 1-10 or so....u can check the name in AccentDisplayName for which digit represents which colour.
Then select the respective file in folder 1 or 0 and edit its value to the 10 DIGIT CODE u got from calculator. Save it...RESTART!!
Now go to themes...u get a custom accent...u can also change the name in AccentDisplayName....Enjoy...Feel Free to thank me!!
This method still requires interop-unlock and has been known for sometime and if you are interop-unlocked there is a much easier way to make it work using Advanced Configuration Tool 1.5
This method is quite old, I've been doing it for like a year now or so. But I must warn you. Changing anything wrong with the themes in registry can make your phone get broken in software and will need a hard reset, so double check when you're changing the codes and adding/removing values of the registry.

read the second line....for lumia users..advanced config tool and other such homebrew apps wont(mostly) work...so this is for dem
Gg, figured that out a couple days ago after messing up my phone and having to reset it 2 or 3 times lol.. I reset it with this 7.8gb phone dump I made also. Takes like 3 hours or so per reset/restore-from-backup
Very helpful tutorial!! Thank you!
But this doesn't change the color for 3rd party apps and also not for their Live Tiles.
There is already a thread up, where is also explained how to change it that it also works in 3rd party apps.
I used this method and my third party apps changed just fine. I'm actually quite pleased with it! I got "Base Converter" from the marketplace to do the converting between hex and dec on the fly and now I can change my colors anywhere. I really wish someone would figure out how to get beyond the restrictions of the second gen devices, but until then, I guess this works.
I didn't see one started here, and after seeing this on the portal, I started to play around a bit with this and thought it may be a good idea to post this here too. With thanks to kkoolpatz in this link I started to edit the CSC file found here:/system/csc/feature.xml in my stock, rooted JB ROM. Just be sure to make a backup, and I recomend RootExplorer to make changes:
I also highly recomend you check out the origional post above, but I have found the following of his to work:
Unlimited linked contacts:
Code:
<CscFeature_Contact_SetLinkCountMaxAs>999</CscFeature_Contact_SetLinkCountMaxAs>
Shutter sound option for Camera (can turn it Off):
Code:
<CscFeature_Camera_ShutterSoundMenu>true</CscFeature_Camera_ShutterSoundMenu>
Not tested by me, but in the other post, these may be sueful to some:
Enter Key = New Line in stock sms // Only if not supported already
Code:
<!-- Message -->
<CscFeature_Message_ReplaceCRToNewLine>true</CscFeature_Message_ReplaceCRToNewLine>
Dialer search matches numbers in contacts and call logs along with contacts
Code:
<!-- Dialer / Logs -->
<CscFeature_Dialer_PhonebookNdigitsMatching>true</CscFeature_Dialer_PhonebookNdigitsMatching>
You may have to optionally add this line too.
<!-- RIL -->
<CscFeature_RIL_CallerIdMatchingDigit>8</CscFeature_RIL_CallerIdMatchingDigit>
Add exit menu to stock web browser
Code:
<CscFeature_Web_AddOptionToTerminate>true</CscFeature_Web_AddOptionToTerminate>
Stock browser requests Desktop site by default
Code:
<CscFeature_Web_EnableDesktopSiteAsDefault>true</CscFeature_Web_EnableDesktopSiteAsDefault>
I am playing around with the following:
Restored the hidden APN Remove the following:
Code:
<CscFeature_Setting_HideApnList>pcweb.tmobile.com</CscFeature_Setting_HideApnList>
These give me the option for Find my mobile/Sim replacement alert, but Find my mobile doesn't seem to work, would love to activate this feature:
Code:
<CscFeature_Setting_DisableMenuFindMyMobile>false</CscFeature_Setting_DisableMenuFindMyMobile>
<CscFeature_Settings_FindMyMobile>true</CscFeature_Settings_FindMyMobile>
This one I disabled see no effect:
Code:
<CscFeature_Setting_RemoveDisableButtonInAppMgr>com.carrieriq.tmobile,com.carrieriq.tmobile.IQOOB,com.carrieriq.tmobile.IQToggle</CscFeature_Setting_RemoveDisableButtonInAppMgr>
kkoolpatz also posted these, I haven't gone through it yet but probably worth a look:CscFeatures
If anyone has more to add, let me know, and I will modify this post.
Thansk again kkoolpatz
I have added my Stock file to this post, just remove the txt
Couple of things I noticed that I think is interesting:
1) By deleting [I comented out] the line that hides the the teather APM, this no looks like it can be easily deleted, may be useful for some
2) You can enable the Find my phone menu. Looks like you can set it up, but when you launch the web page, this phone is not listed. Wondering what else is needed to make this work
3) You seem to be able to add the ability to disable Carrier IQ apps from the apps list, but I still don't see them there. Wondering if this can be useful some way.
4) There are a lot of interesting things to play with in this file. Also the CscFeatures file posted by kkoolpatz has some items of interest
