So long story short: i tried to flash the stock rom to my htc one m9 and then this error 21 appeared and i cant find anything on xda to solve it so please all you htc one software gurus out there help me on this one and i would be really greatfull here is my fill report from what i got from fastboot

Sounds like a file error, but I'm not a reliable guide for reading error codes. A Google search turned up some posts about this - maybe they can help.
Are you in ruu mode or download mode? Have you tried the SD card method?
Try doing it with a custom recovery on SD card. Also, you can find plenty of close to stock roms around here. Best regards
So, to summarize: you tried to flash the 2.10.401.1 RUU although there are already many posts directly under its download link that tell you that the file is corrupted. Seems like you really have guts.
If your phone doesn't boot then I think there is not much you can do since the RUU already overwrote some of the partitions. The only solution I see is trying to contact this RUU service and hope that they can fix your phone. (I'm assuming that your phone is S-ON since you didn't mention it. If it actually is S-OFF you should theoretically be able to restore your phone by using a RUU that downgrades your phone.)

It was really simple really i flashed the previous version and then installed the new version (2.10.401.1) with a Stock nandroid backup because if i tried to download the ota update from the prev. version it would only wipe my phone and restart

It was running Viper Rom, 6.0, with TWRP as recovery, and all is good. S-OFF and unlocked (still is).
I then need to return the phone to my work place, and want it to be stock, by flashing a RUU zip.
I flashed this RUU - 0PJAIMG_HIMA_UHL_L50_SENSE70_HTC_Europe_1.40.401.8_Radio_01.02_U11440261_60.03.50505G_F_release_435816_signed_2_4.zip - from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347763869, and that did not work as expected, and now i have major issues with the phone.
What i did was to copy the zipfile to my SD (ExFAT 64GB), and renamed the ZIP to 0PJAIMG.zip. I then flashed it from download mode with VOL UP.
The flash went fairly quick, and it didnt seem right to me.
After the flash, the following things are not possible:
- Booting android (it boots straight to bootloader)
- Booting into recovery (Red text appears over the bootloader screen, saying that "Faild to boot recovery mode. Press volume up or down to back to menu" (yes, with the missing word "go" - to go back to...)
- Reacing the phone via ADB - not possible without recovery or android booting
- Flashing RUU zip from PC, after putting phone in RUU mode (fastboot oem rebootRUU). Flashing CRASHES fastboot.exe, windows says its made an error. Console output before the exe crashes:

The phone does not react to the command
- Flashing RUU from SD card. Download mode says SD card not mounted.

- I can unlock bootloader (i first locked it, then flashed the problematic RUU, and then unlocked it via a HTC Dev BIN file as usual)
I am REALLY SOL here, and i am a very experienced android user
ANY HELP is greatly appriciated. Status right now is that i will have to pay for the phone, if i cannot fix it before returning it (returning it this week!)

With the 6.0 RRU, it seemed to work the first time (flashing with fastboot), but it failed shortly after. All attempts after the first one, made fastboot.exe crash as before..

Your download looks corrupt. Bad header and a reported size of 80mb when it should be 2.4gb... Might be a good place to start..

Thank you for your input. I have verified the MD5 hash, against the site i downloaded it from, and it matches? The max download size shown in CMD, is that related to the file being flashed?
I think there is a problem with the partition layout on the phone, to be honest. I can flash a recovery image (TWRP) just fine, but cannot boot it.. And when i attempt to liveboot a recovery image, it just never boots up (the command prompt finishes its output, but the phone just sits there)...
Can i verify or fix this in any way, given where the phone is right now?

Are you using Google's generic fastboot? Or htc_fastboot?
Google's generic fastboot does not support files larger than 1.5gb. Since your ruu is 2.2gb this would be a problem.
You can get htc_fastboot here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934550031
Add it to your fastboot folder. And flash the ruu with command.

Do you have HTCsync installed on your PC? If so uninstall it and flash the ruu again.
Htcsync is known to interfere with fastboot causing hangs like this.

Negative.. I have HTC BMP USB Driver, HTC Driver Installer and IPTInstaller (all 3 installed today, to get drivers etc in place).
The phone is COMPLETLY unresponsive, i might just let it die on the battery..

Around 15 minutes, on the same spot.. What does that tell you?
Update, after dieing on the battery during the night, the phone booted fine this morning! :good: recovery and system partition is indeed working (stock), and the phone seems fine! Thank you all for your assistance in this, I am so happy it's working again.

I think you shouldn't have to stop it. I'm not a developer or anything but i think that it can't be helped now. Try to take it to the HTC.
Last post shows that the phone worked fine I saw it flash all the critical partitions before it froze, so I wasn't that worried about it after all. The point to solving the problem was using htc_fastboot, instead of normal Android sdk supplied fastboot, as the htc variant has support for zip files over 1.5 gb.

This is all what i've got after flashing firmare via cmd and sd card method (vice versa). i noticed the sensor is not working the g-sensor, proximity sensor, Auto rotate and even gestures like swipe up to wake, double tap to wake etc. I already try to flash the sensor_hub.img via Bootloader. flashing success but nothing happened after reboot the problem still persist.
Anyone would help me to fix this problem i appreciated so much. TIA

Rename the ruu.zip to 2PS6IMG.zip and copy it to the sdcard and boot to download mode and flash it.
I tried with OTG mode but it failed.. I will retry with a sdcard.

Never works with on the go.

I think it's a issue because /data partition is missing or corrupted.
With viper 16.0 I boot until a screen requiring the password to decrypher the content.
And in twrp I got message 'Failed to mount /data' (Invalid argument)....

Hello. You solved? It happened to me too, I can confirm that this error occurs after replacing the display. Evidently, some non-original displays cause this error.
The only solution is to delete "tp_SYN ***. Img" from the ROM you are installing.
This causes a lot of problems.
You will no longer be able to install an RUU.exe.
Having an "s-off" helps.
Personally, to solve the problem, I have decrypted the rom.zip and I have flash system.img with fastboot. Instead for the firmware, you can download the .zip file containing only the desired firmware. Before flashing, you have to remove the "tp_SYN ***. Img" file.

This problem occurs after replacing the display, for normal RUU firmware it is enough to disassemble the phone and disconnect the display cable, then run RUU.exe on the computer and flash the board with the display turned off. I restored bricked HTC M10 Sprint 2PS6400 S-ON with locked bootloader

I founded the correct RUU and started upload but not working.

You need to use an RUU that matches your mainversion/software version that shows in bootloader: 3.16.401.2
That old Marshmallow based RUU won't flash over a newer one, without the device being s-off.
So, try the matching RUU and it should flash fine.

I got the correct ruu flashed but have some issue but the radio is success but not working. Maybe the radio chip is burnout ?
