Help Find, Contact App Allows ADD Pics - Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I'm trying to find a contact or dialer app that allows you to add multiple pics to a contact. Example, most contact apps have a "note" section so instead was hoping I could either add pics to the note section or have a section just for pics.
Reason why I'm looking for this and also think it may be very useful to other people. On few contacts I keep nnotes, like favorite color, things they like etc...a few times I would see something in store or mag and wanted to take pic and save with that contact so I can remember what it looks like or etc.
If anyone knows of such a app or willing to create it, I would gladly pay and willing to bet many other users would find it very very useful.
thanks
Brian

All People (Contacts) Question

Okay, I know there are two different "applications" for contacts on the TP2.
1. Is the standard Contacts app.
2. Is the "new" All People app.
In the contacts app, you can 'group' your contacts by Company or just display by name. In my TP1 I had it grouped by Company. I really liked it because I could have businesses and such hidden in each category that way I didn't have to go threw all the contacts to find someone in the middle. With the 'new' All People app, that option is grayed out for me on the USCC TP2. I really like the All People app because I have the facebook contacts synced and such. So, my question is, is there a way to get the All People app to group by Company as well?
*I hope I didn't confuse anyone and if you don't understand or need more information please feel free to ask.*

Send Facebook messages directly from Contacts

Hey there,
I just unpacked my T-Mobile USA Vibrant (modified Galaxy S). I love the phone, but as always, there are things that I think are missing. So I played around a little bit with it and one thing kept bothering me.
The phone integrates all my Facebook contacts, which is great. But I think it would be a slick feature if you could actually send them a message directly from the contact list. As of now, I have to go into a browser or use the FB app to send messages and I think it would be a lot more convenient to just go into the contact and send a message from there (like a text basically).
Does anybody now if there is an app or some piece of software that can help me out here? If not, do you even think it is possible to do it? I am not a developer, but I can imagine there are some issues, cause as far as I know Samsung didn't open there UI code for developers yet (or showed any intention of doing it).
So I am excited what you guys think of that and hope there is a solution somewhere out there
Phill
edit: I just saw there is a specific Vibrant forum. If the admins would like to put this post in the right place I would appreciate it. However, I think the issue is omnipresent among all versions of the SGS.
This would be a fantastic mod for contacts I would think I don't know why someone hasn't done this previously. I think if we get the guy doing the standard froyo / eclair dialler / contacts mod to do this it will be extremely innovative.
Contacts -> Groups -> Facebook -> menu -> Send message -> Choose recipient
Wow, long path... Should work though.
hey yea that works. but it is kind of a long way dont you think? Thanks anyway, it got me one step closer What I think would be a tremendous improve is to add the fb msg feature directly to the first contact screen. You know, when you slide left on a contact for texting and right for calling. If there is no number available but a fb contact it should automatically go to the fb messaging.

[Q] Modify Prefix

I had asked this back in December in the general section, but I think this is where I should be asking this question. I was wondering if there is a way to edit all of the contact information similar to what is seen in the Gmail web interface? I have looked around, but haven't found anything. I know what comes standard, but is there an app that will plug into the Gmail interface directly so we can customize the labels of the numbers and address, or modify prefix/suffix information? If there isn't, would this be feasible to program, or is there no way to access the Google contacts in that way? I search the forums, but I didn't see much about contact editing.
Thank you, and have a great day!

Andoid vet w/ a n00b question

I've always had this problem on every ROM i've ever used. the thing was i never really cared enough to ask anyone what the issue was lol. so maybe someone can help me out here.
i typically use sense roms and i have photos assigned to a lot of my contacts. these arent facebook or twitter pics sync'ed with the contact, just default photos i saved for them. i also use SMS Popup. some pics dont show up in the messaging app. some pics dont show up on the popup notification. anyone know the reason for this?
PS. the photos DO show up when i go to my list of contacts though.

Gonna take a real quick shot in the dark, so take it with a grain of salt. Any photos that show up in all places correctly, check their dimensions, file type, and size. My guess, and I heavily emphasize guess here, is that each place you're looking for these (the app, built in contact list, etc) has its certain requirements for pic size, dimensions and file type. If you examine the ones that are working in all places correctly, it might give some headway into figuring out what is wrong with the other ones. If none are working in all places, try taking one of the contact pics, go into windows paint, crop it to the size you would want to see, do a "save as..." and choose .jpg. Windows paint will strip out any additional layers and such that are weighing on the image and pretty much break it down to its most simple form and reduce the size. Then load up that modified pic and see if it works everywhere, if it does, rinse and repeat. If it doesn't work, well, it was worth a shot.

Gmail adduced account swap

EDIT: Mod please correct spelling in topic title. Rushing combined with no proofreading isn't good.
I searched, couldn't really find what I felt was accurate information with what little was available. I need to change Gmail cause the one associated with my DInc is years old & become cluttered with junk. I realize I can export my contacts from the original then import to the new at which point they should sync with that account.
Big question. What about apps? How can the purchase history be changed, app info backed up. Just any opinions, advice or whatever. Prefer to do it right the first time.
Basically would like to have work completely as is but with fresh address.

Since everything is associated with your Gmail account, I presume you'll have to contact Google about it. I am not sure if they've made changes to allow that or not. You also could contact the developer of the app, they may be able to help out too. It seems like it is an issue for a lot of people, so if you find an answer, please share your steps!
For apps I guess it would depend upon how you paid for them. I use Google Checkout so all my app purchases are linked to my account. The dev has to keep that information somewhere to verify that you bought it but not sure that you could get it out of them that easily a lot are just ma and pa devs and who knows what they keep around. Also not sure if Google allows you to rename your email address but it might be an option in account settings. That way you don't have to open a new account and all your Google accounts would be updated.
I went into my account but didn't see any thing in the settings which would allow you to rename the email account. Google tech support might be able to do it if you contacted them.
