I can't seem to find a thread about updating my 10.5 SM-T800 USA Tab S to Marshmallow and keeping root. Maybe I just overlooked it? I'm currently on 5.0.2 and rooted. Do I just find stock Marshmallow and where do I find it? Do I flash with flashfire? How do I root?
Thank you for the help.

Rooted my galaxy tab 3 7.0 t210 today and it got really slow. I need to unroot it but I cannot find the stock firmware anywhere. Anyone able to help guide me through this? Thanks

There is no reason to unroot until triangle away supports the tab 3 in the general chat there is about 4 links to the section of Samsung's site to get it download the UK firmware and use Odin to flash it or of they have the US version that one as the UK version does not use the ir sensor. But this won't make the tab faster.

Hi @ all,
I need a little help to upgrade my SM-T805 from 4.4.2 to 6.0.1 (T805XXU1CPH5).
I had rooted my SM-T805 in the past with this [GUIDE] How to root without tripping knox - Kitkat and Lollipop, Locked bootloader
Now my question is - It is possible to upgrade to 6.0.1 with keeping root an knox at 0x0?
And when it is possible i need some hints.
My first idea was to download the firmware and flash it with Flashfire but I do not know if this is the right way and whether there are certain things to consider.
Thanks in advance

P.S.: Sry 4 my bad english, I'm a german guy
I think you cannot. since mm need new bootloader. and kingroot no longer working.
Hey everyone! New member on the forums here, and completely new to rooting.
I got my hands on a Galaxy S5 SM-G9008W (china mobile version) for tinkering, running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and have been trying to find a way to root it. From my understanding, the easiest way to do this is by using Odin and CF-auto-root to flash the device, right? I can't seem to find the correct cf-auto-root file for this specific model. There seems to be one available for android 5.0, but not android 6.0, am I out of luck or is there an alternate solution?
Also, right now, I'm using a mac, would it be necessary to get access to a PC in order to do this?
I have the same issue.
I have the Galaxy S5 SM-G9008W with 4.4.2 android version. I really would like to know how to root my phone.
Can anyone help?
Is it possible from official 6.01 to official 5.02 through odin?
Many thanks.
I hope this should be no problem. Just get Lollipop firmware and follow the instructions.
