I've found this awesome video (Couldn't post the URL as I've to make 10 posts here before I can post URL)
The video is on YouTube and it's titled "Fire Phone - How to Install Google Play Store without root"
I was able to install Google play and other apps in less than 5 minutes without rooting :good:
My main problem is that I want to install the Android Wear to pair my moto 360 but can't find it in the Play store!! Any ideas please how this could be done?
Thanks
Just take it from here

I don't think this will work yet as the FirePhone OS isn't up to Android 4.3 yet so the Bluetooth LE isn't functioning yet. Should be in the next update though coming early next year.
But the fire phone only has Bluetooth 3.0 so no low energy which is in the Bluetooth 4.0 standard.
4.3
you need android 4.3 at least for android wear to run.
Hi all,
I've just started developing watch faces for the Asus Zenwatch, LG G Watch R and Sony SmartWatch 3 after being a seasoned developer for the Sony SmartWatch 2. They should also work on any other Android Wear watch that's running the latest Lollipop 5.x update. I've published a few on Google Play but unfortunately they're hard to find via the Google Play search - easiest way is to see them via my Facebook page www.facebook.com/JJWwatchfaces or via my direct Google Play link www.julianjwong.com. Note that majority of them are SmartWatch 2 watch faces - you should be able to easily tell the difference from the app icon in Google Play.
Hope you enjoy them!
Hi! Hope you are fine.
Excuse me for my poor english in advance.
I have a new watch paired with a Nexus 6p with the developer preview 3 of android 7.1.1
The watch don't install any app. The phone have all the apps updated but in the wath there are no calculator, no maps, no no no and no.
Any idea? i'm so disapointed.
My girfriend have a Moto 360 sport, with de same phone and android version, working perfect.
thanks you!
android wear dev preview app sync are disabled because apps are going to be moved ot the new watch store
either sideload them using a pc or downgrade to android wear 1.5 to get apps to sync
oh by the way
you are trolling in the part " your gf have moto 360 with the same android version" moto 360 is stuck on 1.5 ( android 6)

hi! thanks for the answer, but not in this case, both watches have stock android wear 6.0.1 and both nexus 6p phones have 7.1.1 dev preview.
The moto 360 sport install apps without problem but the huawei not.
Open android wear 2 app > click gear icon > click Huawei watch> click resync apps if you are on android wear 1.5 this should make it
just use the APK installer tool

Hi all.
Sorry if this is a really stupid question. I've just purchased a huawei watch and upgraded it to android wear 2 but I can't work out how to sync watch faces that I have purchased from the play store. I've purchased them on my phone and gone into the android wear settings and forced a recync of apps but still no new watch faces.
What am I doing wrong ?

You can try downloading them using the play store on your watch.

From what I have seen, you HAVE to install them through the Play Store on your watch. It beats me why Google removed the app sync, at least for those apps that need to be installed on both.
Hey.
Seems that some Android TV's can now be joined to speaker groups. My Nexus Player now has the option but not my TCL 32 (despite rebooting it like Shields need apparently). Has anyone got the speaker group option on their TCL or any other Android TV?

Yay!
Got an update for the Chromecast app, restarted the TV and now it works.
First tests suggest no audio on the TV for music streams. That suits me as I have a Chromecast Audio in the same room so only need a now playing screen on the TV.
Been using a LastFM/screensaver hack to do this so a nice update for me.
I joined beta program ,updated built-in app , but both Android TV (tcl/skyworth) still don't work .

Good.
Seems quite buggy. Upset my 5g network for a bit and the TV does play stuff but only after a while into each track.
Lets see if we get any updates.

Hey.
Can you tell me what version of Chromecast built in you have. I cleared data and cache on mine and have now lost the group function.
My version is 1.47.207274

My TV Sony KD-55XD7005B was able to be part of groups from Sunday till today. Today, the TV updated to 1.47.207274 and the feature is lost

That's interesting. My Nexus Player is on the same version and it still works (currently in a group, bit slow to join each session but otherwise working well)
Here imposible to build a group with android tv, same versiĆ³n 1.47.207274 cast
I really loved the option to include my android tv to a speaker group while it lasted.
I wonder can't the chromecast built-in apk be hacked to enable it again?
Hello guys, jumping on this, maybe trying to flog a dead horse, i have a philips 55 8024/12 and it supposedly has chromecast built in v 1.42, but it doesn't really behave in google home like other normal chromecast devices, many options are missing...
so i thought i could try the v1.44 'chromecast built in -beta' by joining the tester program, however both via web browser on pc playstore and saying ->install to device or directly from the playstore app within android TV i am unable to install the beta update and its still on 1.42, it says its compatible, the download begins, but the moment it starts installing it just fails saying cannot install...
have tried clearing cache and data for google web view, play store but to no avail...any tips or is it just broken?

Chromecast built-in is quite limited compared to dedicated Chromecast devices.
And it's back but broken.
Just got a new (June) update to Chromecast. Can now join my TV to a speaker group again but casting to any group with TV in it just spins it's wheels then times out.
Nexus Player has no problem.
Hmm
I updated both of my nexus players to the latest chrome cast builds but I still don't see them in the speaker group when I try to add them or create a new one. Any suggestions?

I think Google are still experimenting. The option has gone again for my TV but remains on my Nexus player.
