My LG G3 froze the other day and showed a blue screen and restarted, then another blue screen after restart, then it just keeps freezing and blue screens on occasion and then restarts and so on basically my phone does not work after about 3 minutes of usage unless its cold which I find bizarre, anyway if anybody can help me if this is repairable I would be very grateful I have attached an image of my first error message out of the amount of times I have tried to get my phone working.
I have flashed multiple kdzs including the orginal and this has not fixed the problem.

So it's the second time my G3 gets stuck and won't come back to life. 6-7 months ago it was stuck onto the firmware update screen (thou I never messed with rooting and stuff) and I had to send it back to LG Italy since it was still under warranty. They just wiped everything off, replaced something and sent it back to me.
Today's problem: Phone was off this morning and when I tried to turn it on it seemed like battery was dead. Charged it and turned it on after a while, got into home screen and a weird message about whatsapp loading issue because my phone time wasn't correct. On top of that the phone was totally frozen and didn't respond to any imput, so I had to remove the battery and put it back in. From now on, the phone is stuck on logo screen. Tried to put it in download mode, I see the firmware update screen but my computer won't recognize my phone via pc suite. Recovery mode won't even start. Tried to turn it off and just plug it into my wall charger: the empty battery icon with the loading symbol pops up and everything seems to be stuck, even if I unplug it the icon would still be there. I tried with two different batteries getting the same result
Totally clueless about what to do now (the phone is still under warranty by the way).
Hello, i faced a serious problem this evening, just after i finished a call phone, the screen of the phone went Blue and then it went off, i started to put it on again and then it showed the screen with LG and then it went black no boot at all. i removed the battery and i tried again and still the same, so i tried to remove the battery and put it again and plug it with the computer, it went on with charging battery and then suddenly went to blue screen again.
So i tried to put the recovery mode with power down and on/off and it worked i got the recovery mode screen with factory reset but it was only with factory reset, i tried it and then i put yes and it reboot and then after LG screen, it went black again....
so i tried to put download mode with usb cable but it wont, always i got the blue screen. what should i do, where is the problem exactly for people who had the same problem ? the batterye ? the motherboard ?
anyone to help ? i changed the battery and it wasnt coming from it, and the phone showed others anormalies like sometimes u can charge the battery and you see the % and sometimes it goes blue screen and shut down. anyone had the same issue before ?
My LG G3 randomly started giving this problem for 3-4 days till it went completely bad. It just wouldn't get past the Blue Screen. Since I had to take a backup before taking any further action, I have been able to get it up and running for very short durations by keeping the cell phone in the freezer for an hour or so. Yes. I am not kidding. After it freezes, I can get it up on about 5th or 6th attempt. Sometimes even more. Be mindful that the battery is now showing a red humidity marker due to the freezer.
I am thinking of asking LG to repair it. What a piece of crap. Its only 18 months old for me.
Hi, so a week ago I had this weird problem with my phone. It would just freeze for like 2 minutes, work again for a minute and so on.
Did a hard reset, same problem.
Flashed that 6.0 KDZ, no success. The phone started but I was basically stuck at the lock screen, touchscreen was unresponsive, power menu kept showing up for no reason... couldn't even turn the phone off.
After that, I decided to stop ****ing around with it and send it to a repair store (no warranty). Today, after about 5 days, I picked it up and was told that they tried a ton of ROMs but they have no idea what's wrong with it.
Got home, ran a hard reset again and now I can't even get to the lock screen, phone is basically in a boot loop. LG logo shows up, the "Android is starting... Optimising apps" screen does its thing, restarts and keeps going like this forever.
Is there anything I can do or should I just throw the phone in the garbage and get another one? Any suggestion is appreciated, thanks!
Hi,
Same issue for 2 days...
My G3 was suddently slow and unresponsive so I removed the battery.
I put it back again, as usual, and start the phone. But it get stuck at the LG logo.
Sometimes the animated LG logo shows up, sometimes not.
Sometimes it displays the PIN screen (unresponsive or not), sometimes not.
Sometimes it boots totaly normaly (1% of time) and become unresponsive/buggy after a couple of minutes.
I tried flashing kdz (normal and CSE) 10 times, factory reset, change battery, without success...
Good luck.
Fellow XDA Members,
Two days back I was playing music on my OP3 and it froze. So, I long pressed the power button in an attempt to restart it. But, to my amazement, it just stuck on the Oneplus boot screen. It didn't even charge for hours, and after 6-7 hours when I plugged it in it had the Battery too low issue. Anyway, I used MSM tools and flashed the files. Now, the phone sometimes takes me to the welcome screen, stays there for like 3 seconds and then reboots. Other times it just boots with a dark screen and white LED light on (no blink). Booting into recovery also gives me a dark screen with white LED.*
I'm unable to do anything in fastboot mode, all commands 'fail'.
Any help will be deeply appreciated,
op 3
and I have the same problem. please help !!
Hello, I faced something similar problem today. Since my OP3 was not catching any wifi in my apartment, but my laptop did. So I restarted my phone (power button-restart). But its more than an hour and its still showing restarting. Please help.
My LG G3 D855 appears dead. Without any apparent reason the screen turned black upon using the phone, and afterwards the phone did not boot to the OS, which has been updated to Lineage few months before.
Upon booting the LG logo might appear, and then the screen becomes black or blank. Even getting the LG logo to appear is difficult, usually nothing happens when booting the phone or replacing the battery. I have tried two different batteries.
I have three different screens. I have tried replacing the screen and the same problem persists, although in these cases the screen may also turn white. However, this may only be because of the screens. One I haven't tested before, and a other one is an old screen that was not in good condition.
What can be done to troubleshoot the black screen issue?
I managed to get into the (custom) recovery.
Anything in particular that should be done?
