Certain ROMs screen keeps freezing; I have to turn off the screen with the power button and turn it on again to see updates. Slim, RR, and Sultan are causing this issue for me. I've tried 3.2.2, 3.2.4 firmware and the same problem exists.
I've came from 3.5.2 community; not sure if this could be the issue.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I've got a Verizon G'NEX and I flashed DroidViscious's 4.1.1v1 rom with Franco's kernel about a month ago and everything was smooth sailing up until last week. I've been experiencing random instances of my screen freezing for about 10 seconds followed by my device rebooting. Upon startup right after a reboot I can enter my pattern lock and then it freezes immediately after and reboots (I can tell it's responsive during the unlocking of the pattern because of the haptic feedback). This will happen several times before I'm able to get back to the homescreen without it freezing.
I thought there was a problem with the rom since it was an older build Jelly Bean so I wiped the device and flashed the latest build of Pete's BuglessBeast using his default kernel hoping that would solve the problem. Unfortunately it didn't. I'm still experiencing these random freezes and reboots and the only way I can get it to boot without freezing is to pull the battery out for a couple of minutes and try again.
I'm wondering if the device is thinking it's getting too hot so it shuts down but I don't really have any way of knowing (it happens a lot when I'm in the car or when the phone is charging). Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is and how to resolve it? Or any ideas on how I can debug the problem myself? It's happening fairly often now when I need my phone the most.
The phone isn't even a year old so if relock the bootloader and return it to stock it should be covered under warranty still if there's a hardware issue.
Well, this problem seems to be exclusive to Jelly Bean. I reverted back to ICS and everything seems to be fine. Is anyone else having this problem with Jelly Bean roms?
yeah I get alot of random reboots and some freezes here and there. not sure what it is. but i have to gsm version gnex.
Hello everyone,
I am having an issue with wake up lag on pressing the power key or the home key. Never had this issue with 4.2 but I have this issue on every 4.3 MK2 ROM I have tried. I have done full wipe, sd wipe, before flashing ROMs but no luck. I also noticed the screen flickers sometimes. The issue with wake up lag is really annoying as after waking up the apps respond really slowly. I am still knox free so not sure if this is related to that.
Anyone else with these issues and possible fixes? Thanks.
I just bought my Asus zenwatch today and I updated it all the way to 5.1.1. I noticed that when I turn off the "always on" feature, when the screen is off and I tap the screen to wake it, a green screen flashes real quick before the screen wakes.
Has anyone else had this issue? I feel like when I updated to 5.1.1 alot of weird things have been happening. I was not able to connect for a while and the screen randomly turned off like if it got stuck.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled and done factory resets on the watch and the phone. I am still getting the green screen flicker.
I don't know what I should try next. On the Asus website they have 2 previous updates and no android 5.1.1 on there. Can I somehow roll back to an older version of the zenwatch? or should I try to reinstall the Android 5.1.1 update?
After a recent Cm flash my phone has been going crazy. on the latest CM Build most things should be working, however I have no sound, no camera, no video playback, no calling etc. Calling even causes a soft reboot. All of these problems are fixed for others on the newest build, and camera and adio fx have crash reports due to java.lang errors.
Also have some hard lag from time to time. When I attempted to re-flash all the way back to stock to see if the issues would go away, my phone was barley usable. The lag was so bad that I could not even get my screen to unlock most of the time, and in no way did anything work. I am at a loss here, and have no idea what could be causing the issues. Any help appreciated.
(Btw, all flashes were done cleanly using TWRP)
Even after updating to OOS 4.0.2,proximity sensor problem is at times when i'm calling the screen stays on which is a bit irritating, it should go off while talking.
