as title is there an app which will allow you to do this
As of now, you can tether your phone to your laptop to enable internet sharing. There is no app for sharing internet over Wi-Fi though (like previously available in the HD2).
Hi guys!
Just a thought, I have a PS3 and I have access to a local wifi, but due to the wifi having a MAC Filter the PS3 can not connect so I had a thought of USB Tether my Wildfire to PS3..
BUT
When I read online, I saw that I must use a computer & Cross over Ethernet cable to the PS3, and I don't have a the right cable..FYI My computer is also allowed on the local wifi.
SO
My question is this: Is there anyway to DIRECTLY USB tether my Wildfire to the PS3?
Why not white list the PS3?
I wonder if just using the USB Tethering option in Cyanogenmod 7 would work?
Does your Wildfire have access to the Wifi?
I wonder if you were to use a USB Wifi Adapter connected to your Computer/Laptop to create a 'Hotspot' from which your PS3 could connect? Alternatively you could I guess try this maybe...

I hope one of these works for you.
Hope I've not confused anyone too much lol

I do not have access to the router & I can't contact the guy who owns the wifi because he's working away for a while.

From what I understood, Portable Hotspot only uses 3G / hsdpa connection and I want to use WiFi connection as I do not have an unlimited data plan.
I have seen the Reverse Tether guide before and have used this for another Buzz I own.
With my Galaxy Nexus (Verizon Wireless) I find that USB tethering is faster than WiFi hotspot. I have a need to share the connection with 3 different PCs. Is is possible to USB tether the Galaxy Nexus to a switch for sharing the internet connection? I know I can use the WiFi hotspot option but I am noticing significant speed decrease with WiFi hotspot and want to specifically use USB tethering instead and share with 3 PCs simultaneously.

Hello.
There is no connection between devices connected to Android wi-fi tethering.
Is it possible to enable it?
