Could someone upload the m5's framework-res.apk on lollipop 5.1 please
I renamed mine and forgot to change it back then rebooted and now my phone is stuck on the boot animation and I can't get adb to work so I was thinking that I could flash it in
Don't worry all good now

Hello all, I recently flashed the patched services.jar and androcharger in an effort to speed up my laggy CM9. I rebooted and I got stuck at the boot screen. Here is where my problem begins. I recently updated the radio as well and like a dummy I didn't move the PC10IMG file so when I try to reboot into recovery, it constantly wants to upgrade the radio.
What are my options here? I am at work, and my card reader is at home, so I can't pull the card and delete the file. I can wait until I get home, but if there is another option, I would love to hear it!
Thanks all!
Which services.jar did you flash? Did you manually replace it at http://android.mimic.ca/ ?
Hi,
I would like to pay someone that could help me doing the following:
I have a Vido N90IPS tablet:
http://www.anybuying.com/media/cata...525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/v/i/vido-n90-ips-1.jpg
I downloaded the following custom ROM which works great on the tablet:
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum...ao-n90-ips-tablet-root-android-4-2-2-custom-f
What I want to achieve is that the tablet boots with my own logo. From powering on the tab until it hits the start screen. I think there are three places where it requires the change of the logo. I also need an animated logo in the right place and need information on what format is needed for the animated logo which I can provide.
I want later on to be able to flash this either through RKAndroidTool or CWM, which one is possible.
Please send a PM.
u can edit
boot.img in it u might find ####.RLE
this is boot logo
in system/bin or system/media u might find bootanimation or bootanimation.zip
the base of all is PNG though
Sent from my Acer S500 CloudMobile

then i went to nexus toolkit and did flash stock + unroot in hope that without root it wont boot up the app.
still never worked
then i did oem lock and unlock
still never worked
flashed on shinyrom 4.4.3
the boot animation changed to 4.3 but still in bootloop
so i need serious help
all of you out there any suggestions
[UPDATE] i just found out my system partition is blank and only contains /system/bin
after flashing numerous roms and flash stock there still doesnt seem to be any system files
[NEW UPDATE] In twrp I enavled mount system and I saw that my whole system files were there after I flashed stock. But the problem is every single permission is messed up. Does someone have a quick way to fix all the permissions
Twrp wont let me do it because it says I need to boot up the phone first.
I'm running Cyanogenmod on my LG G3 D855. I know I can copy my custom bootanimation.zip to /system/media to change the boot animation, but that gets overwritten each time I upgrade with Cyandelta. I tried putting the zip into /data/local, but it doesn't change the boot animation. How can I change it so that it will survive OS upgrades?

The only way that I know for a fact stays under these situations is to use a boot animation that is fully supported in Cyanogenmod's Themes. Download the Theme Showcase to view ones that are confirmed to work with it. After you download it you set it with the Themes app in your tray. These will stay even after updating. Some are free and some are paid.
So...
I tried editing the build.prop file on my nexus 5x but couldn't so i decided to replace the file by first pulling it out and pushing it back. I rebooted the phone and it got stuck on the boot loop. So i decided to erased everything i added. And it still was stuck on boot loop.
I tried other things to fix it.
-flashing pure nexus again (i had pure nexus rom)
-deleted everything and flashing through adb
-flash stock firmware (got stuck in boot loop)
I was able to get it to boot without going into loop by deleting everything and flashing pure nexus through adb
but now i have a problem where it says "...contact manufactured " and the phone won't read my sim card anymore.
I looked into the /system folder and notice that build.prop is missing. i tried replacing it with the one i have but it would delete it after i reboot.
I tried chmod 644 on it and checked it and it is rw-r-r.
I think if i can get the build.prop without getting the phone to delete it then it would solve these problems.
Any suggestions or solutions or build.prop?
Read the following thread until you can recite every word of it, or at least 10 times. Then follow the steps to flash back to stock.
