If you want to return to a stock rom, download the file from sammobile.com and flash it in Odin.

Just flash the latest stock rom from Sammobile.com. There is no need to unroot, wipe, etc. before flashing.

So, I can't flash the modem while in cm13? Doesn't the modem used for having better call quality?
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Labs

You can flash just the modem but I always flash a modem and bootloader together to ensure they are matched.

OK. I'm on fob6. If I flash the latest bootloader and modem would call quality get better?
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Labs

The modem and bootloader would have a more direct impact on signal quality which can affect call quality. The ROM can also affect call quality by affecting radio bands available for use.
Usually, the best call and signal quality will come from using the latest stock ROM.

Once a bootloader has been updated, you may or may not be able to flash back to a previous bootloader. I don't know enough about the T-Mobile Note 3 to know for sure.

Most likely you can.
Based on previous release, you can even downgrade from lollipop to KitKat without any problem. The previous FOL1 lollipop can be downgraded to OB6 lollipop. Don't think they would block downgrade in this lollipop rom.

You need to unzip the tar.md5 file to get the bootloader file.
Personally, I would flash the tar.md5 file in pda to ensure everything matches but how you proceed is your choice.

Stock Bell unrooted rom

I've searched for a good 15 minutes, I might have let it slip, but I'm really busy and I need to have this rom for tonight. This is a big time request.
I'm sending my cellphone for overheating problems because I'm still under warranty, and I can't find the Canadian rom for the SGS3(BELL). I have the stock + root one, but I can't find a really stock one. My flash trip counter and other things that should be default are not tripped, so it shouldn't pose any problem.
Last little question : Do I flash the stock rom via cwm to keep the counters normal? It should also remove cwm, right?
Thanks, sorry for being a burden.

How do I update my rooted GNex to 4. 3?

I got a used GNex that is rooted and on stock 4.2.2. It is a takju maguro device. I have CWM installed. I tried updating via OTA but it failed in between. How do I update to the stock 4.3 ROM?
Is there a flashable zip, or is the process more complex?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
A quick search would have given you what you needed. The N4 needs a new 4.3 boot loader and radio. The same applies for the GN but many users reported a successful update with their old configuration. However it is suggested that you do flash the 4.3 boot loader and the XLJ1 radio. There is both a zip to be flashed under CWM and a fastboot image. I suggest flashing those through fast boot. If you get a brick because go the lazy easy way, don't bother posting again. It shouldn't but the instructions are very clear. With that said, the new boot loader and radio are readily available on these forums.
On a side note, you will NEVER be able to update via the official android OTA, that is for stock devices only. That us why it failed. I'm surprised you even got a notification

you do not have a stock device if the OTA failed (even with root and CWM)
why do people think that they can modify the system and still get OTAs?

if he's on a stock rom, he will get the OTA... however, he modified system files so it will never update. (what he modified is outside of root and CWM)
Thanks for the help guys. If I want to flash an unofficial 4.3 ROM, I just have to flash the zip file right?

root + cwm does not elimiate the OTA working correctly. i have root and TWRP and i get OTAs fine, and they flash fine because i did not modify any stock system files.

What does voiding Knox mean? Boot loader flag goes from 0x0 to 0x1
Notes about Knox:
FLASHING A: CUSTOM KERNEL or CUSTOM RECOVERY on MK3 boot loader VOIDS KNOX
CANNOT DOWNGRADE TO OLDER FIRMWARE!
Composed of an OS side and firmware (bootloader-side) implementation. Apps (OS components) can be removed, but the firmware components CANNOT.
You can still root on the new firmware...but you can't flash a custom recovery or custom kernel, or else you will trip Knox
First!!!!
Damn we need a way to get rid of KNOX!!!!!!.... LOL

Is it any way to flash stock recovery and make unrooting by supersu itself?
If you already have a stock rom and recovery installed and you don't have an sd card handy, it's easy to update the zip using ADB sideload. Assuming you have used ADB before and know how to use it on your computer
Download the file and rename it something easy like "update.zip"
reboot the phone into recovery by pressing volume up, home, and power
select the option to update via ADB
plug in phone to computer with USB cable
on your computer open a terminal window and if you want to make sure the ADB connection works type "ADB devices" you should see some numbers listed followed by "sideload"
flash the file by typing "adb sideload update.zip" if you named it update.zip that is, then press enter
once it's done hit the power button to reboot
profit??
Ok I know this is a dumb question does it have to be on sd card or internal card for recovery to pick it up

If you did the OTA then simply ODIN FLASH twrp recovery and wipe dalvik, cache, system, and data (preferably 3 times) then flash the custom ROM. This method should work.
Just realized that there is a post that already has the untouched file from Sammobile.

I assume you are referring to rooting?
The closest thing is the BeastMode 1.1.1 Kernel.
Stock kernels will not work unless the "Root Restriction" is removed.
However it should be noted that BeastMode is currently not a true DOK2 kernel, it is still on DOG1.
Once the source is released there will be a DOK2 BeastMode stock from freeza.
If you are not referring to rooting then I am confused as flashing the update will give you the stock DOK2.
i got you
do you happen to have a pure stock deodex rom without anything else touched? seems like youve changed out some csc files etc

Check android development here, it has its own thread. All you have to do is make it deodex and disable knox
Screen mirroring is not working for me on this same with casting to YouTube. Anyone else?
