I have the same issue with a FireTV set top box.
Downloaded kodi from the google play store to my phone, pushed via AKG Fire, when i launch it i get the OBB error Jimmy mentioned.
Fire stick, same error
I'm getting same thing using adbfire, installed Kodi 14 and beta 15.1 and 15.2. I've tried uninstalling and installing multiple times. When launch see Kodi screen for second but then obb not present message. Been googling a fix but nothing so far for fire stick.
Just wanted to mention I have also tried rebooting fire stick and disconnected from adbfire and still get obb not yet present please try later message.
Working
For the guys above, I downloaded Kodi from another site, it is a version 14.2 helix and works great, no more error messages
Im using abd to push files to kodi but it says kodi is not installed iv used it to install kodi y would it say that for when it is installed does anyone have this problem or maybe someone would know a fix
I have a kindle fire hd (2nd gen) 8.9 tablet. I'm trying to install the same SPMC version (13.3) I have on my fire tv so I can have a central watch database between them. I extracted the SPMC from my fire tv and added it to dropbox. I received the "There is a problem parsing this package" error when I tried to install it. I also tried to install it with esfile explorer with the same result. I then tried other installations of SPMC, the latest version on their website and the one from the playstore. All of them had the same "there is a problem parsing this package". Does anyone know how to get this to install? Thanks!
I downloaded the file again and I was able to install it! I'm not sure what happened the other times I tried to install it.

Like the title says, I'm having problems trying to install the google play app store on the kindle fire 1st gen, I have 6.3.4 version and I've tried the apks here, and I can't still install it, my device is already rooted, any help or advice?

That's just where I am! I'm technologically challenged, but using online guides/software have managed to root my 1st gen Kindle Fire. Now, I can't figure out how to install the Google apps. None of the "packages" are working. Help!

Did that!
Thanks for your response! However, I had already run the Kindle Fire Utility 0.9.9 and gotten the message, "All our apps have been installed". No apps were visible in the app menu or discoverable through the file manager. After your replay I ran it again. Same "success" - same result.
So, I downloaded the utility again and when I attempted to unzip it I received this message:
! C:\Users\Steve\Downloads\Kindle+Fire+Utility+v0.9.9.zip: Cannot create tools\adb.exe
Access is denied.

OK, I'm REALLY lost. I can't find the thread that has the files to install Google Play since the Kindle Fire Utility is broken (as I've been informed.) I'm sorry to be such a bother but here is my situation: My Kindle is apparently rooted and working. BUT, now I am unable to download previously purchased items stored in the Cloud. Seems that Amazon no longer recognizes the device. So, since I cannot download a Google Kindle app, I'm sort of hung out to dry. How might I go about finding someone local to me who could do this for me? I live in coastal Virginia.

Dear Friends,
I just bought new Fire TV Stick and it is working well. I want to install Terrarium 1.7.1 (modded) apk as well as Showbox 4.9.2 (modde) apk but both didn't install and shows "Installation Failed" by Fire TV Stick.
I , obviously , enabled enabled "App from unknown Sources" under developer option in Settings.
I tried to install the base (Not premium/ No Mod versions) installed ok but modded/premium apk not installing.
However , the same modded apk files of above listed apps working well in my Android Phone..
I tried to use "Apps2Fire" App, which is otherwise working well for installation of others app from mobile to Amazon Fire TV, is not working for these modded apk. The modded apk files are successfully transferred to Fire TV but installation is failed every time I tried to install. I also tried adbfire software to install android apps from PC to Amazon Fire TV Stick. Transfer from PC to Fire Stick OK but installation failed.
I am not keen to use the non-premium versions of both apps as a lot of advertisements kills your joy.
P Lease help me to find a way-out to install these modded apks in Amazon Fire TV.
regds
