Z1 Compact stock ROM 5.1.1 Kernel to run Suhide - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have stock ROM 14.6.A.1.236 on my Z1 Compact D5503 and I want to install Suhide. But it is only for ROM 6.0 and above because of something like Kernel format (elf) is not supported. What I can do? I do not want to flash custom 6.0 ROM because of camera and stabillity issues. Can I somehow install working Kernel so the Suhide should be installed? How the new Kernel will affect device?

There's no custom stock kernel for MM for this phone, and probably won't be, unless Sony makes MM rom for us, by some miracle...

If a stock Lollipop update was available (maybe in Poland, but I think that is the only place currently), then this might apply to you. It seems that you might be able to root the 5.0 ROM, but you would most definitely lose Bump and the ability to flash a custom recovery or ROM.
Any Lollipop ROM that is being floated around the forums already has a kernel that has been modified and rooted. It does not apply in those cases.
Can anyone confirm that it's working?:good:

[Q] Switching from Lollipop Resurrection Remix back to Stock 14.4.A.0.157

Hi, I currently have the Resurrection Remix 5.3.1 ROM, but I'm not happy with Android Lollipop, too many restrictions. So I want to try the DstrikerZ1 Kai ROM. Installation of this rom requires a stock 14.4.A.0.157 ROM. Now I am unsure how to downgrade from Lollipop to stock 14.4.A.0.157.
Should I just flash the "Full Firmware" from http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...eral/ftf-14-4-0-157-central-europe-1-t2937703 and I'm good to go? I don't know if "firmware" is the same as "ROM".

- flash firmware (=Sony standard ROM) with flashtools
- reboot
- shutdown your device
- download D550X_14.4.A.0.108_KernelOnly.ftf
- download D550X_14.4.A.0.157_KernelOnly.ftf
- flash .108 KernelOnly.ftf with flashtool
- root your device with newroot by munjeni
- flash .157 KernelOnly.ftf with flashtool back
now your device is rooted.
flash the ROM of your choice.

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual D5322 - Custom ROM for Nougat or at least Marshmallow

Hello,
Heard about the release of Nougat, I am interested in trying in my phone. But unfortunately mine is not in the list of OTA.
Thought of flashing with custom ROM and searched but unsuccessful.
Please suggest where would I get Nougat custom ROM for my phone or at least Marshmallow as I am currently running Lollypop.
Thanks in advance

I don't know why but there are no Dev working for t2 custom rom.. So there are very less stable rom out there for t2 and about marshmallow and nougat there is no rom available and If u want to check any custom rom then u can use following one
Stock rom
Deceptricon rom by darklord
Z2 dedodax patch by gaurav007
Ultimate rom 2
Cm13 rom
Pacman rom
I'm using stock debloted rom
Hi,
In stock debloated ROM whether screen mirroring will work, please let me know. Now I am using Decepticon ROM. Which one is better.
Before putting debloating script keeping a backup of all system apps using Titanium Backup is enough or not. Please clear my doubts.

There is no ROM coming as far as I can tell. Sony supports the T2 Ultra for Marshmallow (which I'm really wanting), but no one is working on the ROM. I'm starting to think the phone is forgotten.

Newbie questions on Vegito Kernel

Hi, noob here;
I want to know what happens if I install Vegito Kernel, and then Lenovo releases a new version to uptade through system update. Will I be able to update to Marshmallow when it gets released? (on may, according to lenovo update matrix)
Also, if I install a custom rom, will it keep the kernel, or should (and can) I install it again?
Thanks

When a new update for Lenovo comes , the kernel will be replaced by the stock. If on the custom ROM, you can flash vegito, but again, when new update of the custom ROM comes, it will be replaced by the custom ROM stock kernel. You will need to flash vegito each time after an update comes...
Also you can upgrade it Marshmallow

Doesn't look to me like anyone's interested in anything for this phone ROMs nothing : that's ashame seems like a good phone
For me Its like a flagship device. I dont want any custom rom tho I want stock 8.0 instead of stock 7.0
Just flash your devie via flashtool, and you will have Oreo on your device, anyway, the root will be erased.
