Unboxing
The Speaker comes with a mini package, solid-made with plastic, and basic accessories: 1x Micro-USB Cable, 1x User Manual, and the Speaker (of course).
This Bluetooth Speaker is so compact that it fits in my hand without any issue, extremely portable.
Its Chassis is fully made with Aluminum, just the lower side is made of plastic required to fit the Microphone and the Camera/Power Button.
It can be charged with a Micro-USB Cable just like a Smartphone and the USB Port is placed on the back.
Sound Quality
As regards the sound quality it is pretty good and super-loud. The sound is clear, doesn't lack low-frequencies and considering the size of the speaker it is definitely a pretty good one.
Conclusions
Well i admit that a Bluetooth Speaker isn't so easy to review because the tests that can be made except Sound Quality ones are not so interesting, so if you find this review a bit incomplete just let me know and i will try to reply you in the best way possible.
This is a good-quality Speaker, featuring also an useful Camera Button (remote shutter) that can be pretty useful when you need to take some photos without handling the device.
So...do I recommend it? If you need a portable speaker that provides good sound quality, then this is a good choice.
Pros:
- Portable
- Good Sound Quality
- High Volume
Cons:
- A bit heavy

Review: Havit HV-SK466BT Bluetooth speaker

Two weeks ago I was looking to buy a new Bluetooth speaker for my phone on Amazon for under 50 USD, and after a few minutes of browsing around I found this great deal from a company named Havit. I made my order and the speaker was shipped out the same day from their warehouse in China.
Today I received the speaker in the mail in a quite generic looking package, and inside that package there was a nice looking box with the speaker inside. Other than the speaker they included a micro USB cable for charging and audio cable so that you can hook it up to devices which do not have Bluetooth.
The speaker was really easy to connect to my phone, I just had to enable NFC on my phone and place my phone on top of the speaker itself and that’s it. If your phone is not NFC capable you have to hook it up manually, but it’s really easy. Enable Bluetooth, pair the speaker with your phone, and that’s it.
The whole front of the device is covered by a net which protects the two front speakers, and at the bottom of the device the bass is located. The device is made out of rubberized plastic, but a bad part with that is that it collects fingerprints very easily. At the back of the speaker you will find the line in, line out and micro USB -jack and the power switch.
The sound quality of this speaker is actually very good and all the tracks I have played through have been sounding very well overall, but the sound is a bit choppy at 100% volume. That’s the only bad thing I can find really about the sound, other than that the sound is very clear, and the mids and the bass is very good.
Overall this is a very nice speaker, and there is a few minor issues with it but it is nothing big. It is a great little speaker for the price. One thing which would be great is if they would bundle an AC adapter with it, but it is not really necessary.
If you want one, you can order it here:

Havit
I did also buy the same product as you.
The product is extremly cheap for its build quality and audio quality.
The bass isen't really located at the bottom as you say.
I did disasemble it (Great build quality) and find out that it's a ruber pieze moving to the sound pushed by the loud speaker's.
That made this speaker uniqe. There idea is great!
There speaker has great bass because of there idea. Without installing a subwoofer that often takes alot of watts. A can make the battery last half the time that it does without the subwoofer. The speaker is also 100% air tight.
Because of there gaskets and glue. And they also fitted the unit with a oversize battery. That resultats in around 11-12 hour of battery time.
I can only say! Great product Havit. I will buy from you again for sure!
Any idea what the battery is? I need a replacement but its not clear looking at the one I have what the specs are. A 3.7 3000 Ma? Or something else??

Review of HAVIT Bluetooth Headphones with NFC (with pictures)

This is a review of a pair of Havit on-ear headphones with bluetooth and nfc: http://www.amazon.com/HV-H2555BT-Bluetooth-Wireless-Hands-free-Streaming/dp/B00UL4F22G
I don't really use headphones very often on the go and therefore I didn't think much about getting any, till Havit reached out to me and asked if I wanted to have a look at one of their pairs of bluetooth headphones. I've now used these for a few days and this is my review of the headphones.
The headphones came in a nice little box made out of thick paper and plastic, with a big window that showcased the actual headphones. Inside the box there was a few information booklets, a microUSB cable, a 3,5mm audiocable as well as the headphones themselves. One thing I should mention already is that this box was much better designed than the one for the bluetooth headset, and it was much easier to pop open as well.
The headphones themselves is made out of plastic and a leather knockoff material for the headband, as well as some metal that holds up the actual earcups. The earcups and the headband are padded and feels really soft, but they did not use memory foam on these as it's regular foam; That is however totally acceptable at this price point, and overall these headphones feel quite comfortable. However, I've got one minor complaint and that is that these headphones leak quite a bit due to that they're a pair of on-ear headphones.
Soundwise they sound quite good, and these headphones have a quite punchy bass that's almost a bit "beats styled" which means that it's a bit boosted. The downside of the bass boost is actually that the sound is not so clear, and they might sound a bit muddy for some people that do not prefer a lot of bass.
The headphones pair easily using bluetooth as well, and if your phone supports NFC you can just hold it towards the NFC logo on one of the earcups and it should pair by itself. This is a really neat feature and it makes it easy to pair these with a new device, and saves some time for new users. The headphones are equipped with touch controlls as well, and they actually work fine but it's easy to activate them by accident.
So overall, this is a quite nice pair of headphones; However, this product isn't free from issues but they're minor compared to how much pros these headphones have - and the price tag is low as well so therefore I really like these.

Review of iClever Portable Bluetooth Speaker w/pictures

This is my review of a bluetooth speaker from the company iClever - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PU3YI50
So I’ve reviewed many bluetooth speakers in the past but I’ve never really found any specific Bluetooth speakers that I’ve used a lot and that’s very compact, but recently I managed to get my hands on an iClever IC-BTS02 speaker. It’s much smaller than most speakers I’ve found so I was pretty excited about it. Let’s jump right into the review, shall we?
The product itself comes in a small neat little box with the essential product information on it, and inside the box you can find a MicroUSB & audio cable, along with the speaker itself. The accessories is of acceptable quality but they’re not the best I’ve ever seen bundled with a speaker, but at this price point it’s not a deal breaker.
So when it comes to the speaker itself it actually feel super solid and have a zinc alloy housing that look stylish, but attracts a lot finger prints. On the top is the actual speaker driver and at the bottom there’s buttons for controlling the music playback. The buttons feel a bit misplaced as they could’ve placed them somewhere else, as you have to lift up the speaker and then press the button to change track.
The sound quality of the speaker is actually very decent for its small size it offers distortion free audio with a bit of bass, along with decent treble that doesn’t overpower the rest of the sound. It’s pretty balanced, but the bass is a little bit boosted compared to a 100% natural speaker. The speaker also offer decent quality in phone calls, but it’s far from ideal to use it for this purpose.
Pros:
- Decent audio quality that’s sort of balanced
- Good build quality that feels solid and looks stylish
- Affordable
Cons:
- The buttons at the bottom

Unboxing
This Accessory is packaged with an high amount of cables: 1x 3.5mm Audio Cable, 1x 3.5mm to RCA Cable, 1x TOSLink/SPDIF Optical Cable and 1x Micro-USB Cable. Also, there is the usual Instruction Manual. (English/Chinese)
As regards the Build Quality, it has a Matte Surface (easy to scratch unfortunately), and the quality of the Plastic is decent. Considering the usage, there is no need to have premium material for the exterior. What matters is the audio quality.
On the front, there is a single Power Button that works also as a secondary button to enable pairing mode or switch between devices, together with a Status LED just under it.
On the left, there are two switches, used to switch (well...yes) between TX/RX modes and SPDIF/Aux connection.
On the back, there is a classical 3.5mm Aux Jack, 2x SPDIF Ports and a Micro-USB port for charging.
Nothing important on the other sides.
Sound Quality
As regards the sound quality, as i always say i am not an audiophile so i can't provide you some professional audio tests, but based on my power-user experience, the quality is definitely higher than using a standard adapter without APT-X and SPDIF, using 100% of the Bluetooth Bandwidth in order to obtain the best sound quality with no compression, low bitrate, and other issues caused by a standard A2DP connection.
I have tested the SPDIF port using my TV together with my APT-X Archeer Headphones and the combo is just great.
Also using APT-X Headphones but together with the AUX port as Input, works fine too, but not as good as using the Optical Connection of course.
There is something i miss though, a microphone for voice-calls if used with a Smartphone. This would have been a great feature to have, but as always, it isn't possible to have everything,
Conclusions
Compared to similar products, based on my research, this might be one of the cheapest ones available on the market, and considering the quality, it is definitely something to not ignore.
Summarizing all, i can definitely recommend this accessory.
Archeer, if you are reading this review, please add a Microphone in your next model
Pros:
- Decent Battery Life
- Excellent Sound Quality
- Dual AUX/SPDIF connections
- Pretty easy to use.
Cons:
- No Microphone
- Matte, easy to scratch, Surface

Unboxing
Unlike previous audio products i reviewed in the past, this one comes in a rather boring external packaging, but the amount of accessories well over expectations, with a nice rigid case, a small USB Cable (no Type-C sadly) and the usual replacement earbuds in different sizes.
Something that stand-out for this product is the Nylon-Braided cable for extra durability, but the two cables that go from the little box to each earphone is not braided (for some reason).
Starting from the box, it is made of Metal with Rubberized Buttons (Play/Pause/Answer + Back + Forward). The clip is OK, keeping the little box stable anywhere it is placed. It is not the most compact solution, but i guess they i had to go for this instead of something slimmer in order to include a beefy battery.
On the top of this box, there is a dedicated button to control ANC (working only when the whole thing is turned on, excellent solution) with a dedicated white LED. Near the ANC LED, there is also a standard Blue LED for the BT connection.
The microphone is placed on the right earphone's cable and it is included in a small cone made of Metal. Well engineered in my opinion.
Each earphone features a metal chassis (not as good looking as in the photo to be honest, not the same shown color) and is compact, quite comfortable.
Sound Quality
Thanks to the APT-X support, those are the best sounding earphones i have ever tried, but not perfect. The sound seems to be slightly tuned to increase low frequencies (as usual). Other than that, i can't find any flaw in the sound quality at all.
The volume is quite high, there is no distortion even at maximum volume, and the APT-X support is correctly recognized by my smartphone as shown here.
Also, the Active Noise Cancelling feature works flawlessy, there is no extra noise added to the sound (like background noise or anything like that) neither interferences.
Nothing to complain about call quality, the microphone position is just excellent matching wired earphones.
Conclusions
As promised some months ago, i would be focusing on those ANC products that are becoming more and more common and affordable. This is, with no doubts, the most balanced i have ever tested. Good sound quality, decent battery life and no flaws in the design.
If only there was a built-in equalizer to switch between different presets...
Pros:
- Good sound quality
- ANC - Active Noise Cancellation (properly implemented)
- Metal Parts all over the place
Cons:
- Slightly tuned for low frequencies
- Not all cables are nylon-braided
