Hi everyone.
When my G3 D855 died LG sent me a new one (D855 too) and i have a issue with it that i canĀ“t understand. The camera and torch works perfectly running stock or stock based ROMs but when i try any AOSP ROM the camera and the torch aren't detected by any camera application i tried. When I open the camera it shows the front camera and there is no option to change to rear camera. Also the torch isn't detected by the device and the torch toggle don't appear. If i try apps like Aida 64 or CPU Z the rear camera won't appear. It looks like the phone only have the front camera. So I have to stay in Fulmics or stock based ROMs to have camera and torch.
There are some people with the same problem here in XDA as i've read. I think that LG changed the camera module in the latest produced devices and I'd like to know how i can resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone. I switched to KK on my T-989 recently, but I have some issues with Google Camera. The Photosphere function works, but if I switch from normal camera mode to Photosphere and back, it breaks the viewfinder (and sometimes FC's the camera app)
The issue is identical in both Carbon ROM and SlimKat.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there's an alternative camera for photosphere that is can try? Or if there's a KK ROM that works with Google Camera?
Good Evening,
i've some question about stock camera of our lg E975!
I've used camera stock, but i've found snap camera HDR, i prefer to setup manually, that have a tons of customization except one ... face detection!
I've tried many app but no ones except camera stock have a face detection! how does it possible?!
The second question is about autofocus and synchronization with flash... is completely WRONG!!!!
how nobody have tried to take something from nexus 4, our twin ( over there synchronization with flash, is right) and put into e975?!
Try Open Camera from F-Droid, it has face detection and a lot more
For who changed to Lollipop
What were the changes in the Camera App?
Any improvement in low-light shoots?
I ask that, because the new Android 5.1 have new API camera2 that can improve our camera.
[ like "Fix colors in lowlight mode", and "sharpness and denoise settings for camera2 " both used for Snap Camera app]
its the same module as before....

Its gotten worse
The camera IMHO now has become worse, that I found only while using the flash. Otherwise it appears the same.
I am using the stock camera app, and I haven't found any variation. The pictures are the same when compared to those taken with kitkat versions.
Maybe the custom camera apps could make a difference.
i got the bliss pop rom (based on cm 12.1) and nothing wrong with camera
After unlocking bootloader camera wasn't working.. I know it might be normal but when i install other camera apps from the store like pro camera.. It doesn't recognize i have a back camera.. Works in front camera and no way to switch to back camera... Even after installing aosp rro android 6 rom i still have the same problem even pro camera ia not working now nor m camera only an app called cameramx is working and the front cam only also is working.. Can anyone help me with this problem?
Try to reflash stock 4.3
I tried this also
ok this is my first post here, so tell me if i posted somwhere wrong..
but my question is is there any Oreo rom, doesn't matter if it's 8.0 or 8.1.
that has a working camera, and that it can record..
You can record on all Oreo roms, but you need like footej camera or open camera apps. The stock will work when LOS devs fix it.
quality of images can vary depending on the app and the used setting!
open camera works nice, there is aswell a htc camera port here - that works:

Crdroid has fixed camera so now everything works perfectly.
Got D855TR; I've tried almost all of the 8.1 and 8.0 roms available here, unfortunately none of them gets my back camera or flash working (front camera works)... It is not hardware related because if I go back to stock MM 6.0 , they both work flawlessly... I am hoping devs will resolve these soon but seems like many people are having camera issues.. If anyone got any suggestions or ideas, I'd really appreciate it
