It happened to me also two times...i got my phone replaced 12 days before and then now same thing happened and day before yesterday i submit my phone to service center and they told me it will take 9-10 days again....
go service center they will replace your cell...
Hi Sarosini,
I faced the same problem. Check out the following
1. Is charging indicator LED coming on if you plug in the charger? if yes, it may be a software issue. You may need to do a reset.
2. HARD RESET-steps
a) Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
b) Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
c) Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.
3. If hard reset do not work, service center is your destination.
Mine is sent to service center (set was from another country through relative, so back there) and waiting now. All the best

Can't Boot or Charge After a Complete Discharge. No Red Light.

Hello,
My friend completely discharged her HTC One V, turned it up several times after it shut down due to a low battery. Now the phone won't boot or even show the red charging light.
We tried charging it for 2 hours, holding the power button with volume down key for 10 seconds in every possible configuration (connected to PC, connected to wall, not connected at all, and with or without SIM card); It won't open fastboot or anything.
The phone is running the latest official software and never been unlocked or rooted or anything; only apps from Play Store.
I tried searching all the HTC One forums here on XDA and Googled as well, with no luck.
Can you please help? Thanks a million in advance.

Probably brick. This happens sadly, I don't know if this is because hTC sets the battery drain voltage too low, and just overburns the battery, or some components don't like this, but happens. Go to hTC service.

[HELP] Screen off, vibrating continuously

Hi,
My phone has been working fine since I did S-off and installed a LeeDroid 2.3 ROM a year ago. This wednesday I had to install another ROM because of boot loop problems with the previous one. I used VJ CM10.1 v5.3 which worked amazing for almost 2 days. Yesterday at night while the phone was charging I couldn't unblock it (black screen) and the orange led kept light event without usb cable. I removed the battery and since then the phone only vibrates continuously when I turn it on. Even without battery if I use an USB cable it starts vibrating inmediatly, of course with any screen response (in the dark you can see a very light attempt to start the screen but nothing else). The PC don't detect anything when I plug it and I can't use any key combination to get to Recovery.
I wasn't doing anything dangerous, only charging but the ROM was only 2 days old. Does anybody now what is happening or how could I fix it? Sorry if It has been responsed but I think not (It's no the 7 vibrations problem).
I can provide more information if needed. Thanks a lot.
Take out the battery, hold the power button for 10 seconds, then try to boot.

Same result. It only vibrates. I'm considering hardware fault (is 2 years and half old) but as I changed the ROM this week seems to be somewhat related.
Before we come to a conclusion, let's try all the stuff we can.
Does the phone boot in hboot?
No, all key combinations apparently have the same result.
The last thing i'd like you to try is putting your phone in the freezer with the battery taken out. Who knows, maybe it will boot afterwards.
If not, then send it to a service.
Thanks a lot, I will try. By the way, I've started saving money to buy the Nexus 4

[Q] my htc one x just died

So its died a day ago and i tried to charge it all day from yesterday and nothing happened.
But, 10 min ago I read that I should tried to connect it to my pc, and i pressed the power button and the volume down and when I did, my pc told me that its installing drivers.. (like most of the time when you plug USB device to your pc) but its failed..
is there any way to revive my phone?
Are you sure its dead. Do you see the charging indicator light up whilst charging? The HOX has a history of dead display so it might be that.

[Q] Completley bricked one x

Hey there. i used my htc one x (international version) for a half year with the android revoloution hd latest custom rom. it worked just fine. latley, during a phone call with a friend, my phone just died. completley died, cant get any response. tried to turn it on, press the power button for some mintutes, and all possible button combains. the computer doesnt recognize it (nor even as unknown device), there is no sign form the phone, even when it connect to the charger. in a lab we tried to replace the screen and the battery, but it just not seems as an hardware issue. i suspect it some kind of software issue, mainly because in its last days it started acting strange, restarting and turning off by itself.
if anyone here know a way to relive this phone, i will be so thankful. but thanks anyway.

hi! well, if you keep power button pressed and after some seconds the capacitive buttons don't light up and flash and if you cannot wake it with any buttons combination, i fear it broke down and it's an hardware issue... if you are under warranty you can send it to repair service, maybe they won't notice it's rooted and with a custom rom but if they do they might charge you a fee
