Hello everybody,
we are looking for alpha tester for a new app that we’ve been working on for a long time: Contextual App Folder (C.A.F.)

}
C.A.F. like the name suggest allows you to create contextual folder on your homescreen and access to the right apps and shortcuts just when you need them. The app offers 9 different trigger (e.g. Headset, Bluetooth, GEO Location) to create your custom scenarios and it should also work with Tasker for more advanced stuff. Custom folder styles and color options are also available.
If that sounds interesting for you and you’re willing to accept minor flaws which come with a early access release then join our Google+ Community to get access to the app on Google Play:
https://plus.google.com/communities/114562739170140440710
It’s currently a closed group (some components are not ready for a public release) so you need “ask to join” but we’ll try to give you access soon as possible. A open Beta through the Play Store beta program is also planned in the next weeks.
Things to note:
The App requires Android 5.0+
You may have to adjust the folder size if your device is not in our database or you are using a custom launcher
Looking forward hearing your feedback!
*Edit*: The app is now in beta and can be downloaded directly from the Play Store. Thanks to everyone who participated our alpha test!

I am trying to set up some NFC tag actions using my Galaxy Nexus running stock ICS 4.02. I am using the pro version of NFC Task Launcher. Right now I can create a shortcut to launch a program via NFC, but I want to do more. For example, I want to create an NFC tag in my living room that will execute a Wake On LAN command. Right now, I have the option to launch the WOL program, but then I have to click a button on the screen, which is such a pain. I think I can do what I want using the Custom command line option which should "open a specific activity within an app", but I don't know how to figure out the custom activity command. This command would be formatted like "com.google.android.talk.BuddyListCombo", which I found in reference to Google Talk. How can I figure out custom commands for different programs? Thanks.
I beleive that you will have two choices.
1. Contact the application developer.
2. Launch application from Eclipse, then you will see the intent.
Or is there anybody else that has a better solution?

This is not a new app but it’s something that we’ve just recently discovered and one that we thought is useful, awesome and amazing enough for us share it with you.
AirDroid is a simple to setup and easy to use application that allows you to manage your Android device wirelessly from the web browser on your computer. The app is a really great way to access stuff on your Android device. You can manage files and documents on your device’s micro SD card, you can drag and drop files to and from the device, and even access your contacts, call logs, emails, and a whole host of other things too. You can also text using the app as well as download and install apps on your device all wirelessly from the web browser of your choice on your computer.
The interface is pleasant and you don’t need to root your device to access most of the cool features of AirDroid. You don’t even have to install anything on your PC either. Just key in passcode or scan a QR code and you’re done.
This is something we really recommend you try out. Download the free app from Google Play here or just scan the QR code below.

About our solution:
Every day an average smartphone user turns their phone ON 110 times per day. The first thing they see is a lock screen. To set up the application, just install, add the news pages that you follow and your done. Now, every time when you turn your phone you will get latest updates directly on your lockscreen. No need to unlock the phone and try to find and open the application. We offer direct, easy to use, straight forward experience.

"Plugged In" is an Android app done using Tasker. Actually I am a big fan of Tasker and the way it works. I even found lots of other apps which features the same idea but not the way I am presenting today. I even posted about this profile on my blog nexusandme.com about a month back and that became one of the most viewing post so far. So I then thought of exporting it as a standalone app and I am successful in doing that. Download link at the end of the post.
Features :
1. Media select dialogue pops irrespective of on whatever screen you may be on.
2. works even when the device is locked.
3. Tested on almost all OEM devices including tabs, working fine without any issues.
Just plugin and play.
Size : 1.1mb
What's New in Ver.1.4:
1.Added YouTube and Dialer apart from Google play music, mx player, chrome. Total 5 apps
2.Reduced the dialogue size that fits displays ranging from 3.5inch to 5.5
3.Scroll down for chrome and dialer apps
4. changed icons size to 124x124 HD
Installation :
Like other apps download > install and trigger it for the first time. Now try by plugging in your earphones.
Please let me know how's the app. Find it useful then share it with your fellow buddy's.

custom apps selection is critical.
only Youtube works cause Note 3 has diff apps for dialer,Google music etc.
Edit: OP need to be updated says v1.4 should be v1.5.
Thanks for the app.
Looks nice good job :good:
Thanks! Looking to try this out, and logged in for updates
Great app, but please add Spotify.
Hello everyone,
I just installed LineageOS 17.1 with microG on my Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and I'd like to know how to minimize persistent notification (as you can see on the screenshot below)
Spoiler: Lineage OS Screenshot

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So, you can see 4 persistent notifications (Override DNS, AFWall+, Tasker and Fairemail). On my previous Stock ROM Android 9 on Sony, I was able to minimize them. I mean, no more persistent badge on top, but when I scrolled down the notification panel, I was able to see the text of those app (and being sure then that they are still running, especially for Override DNS and AFWall+). You can see an example in the picture below.
Spoiler: Minimized notifications

Is there any way to get this same feature on LineageOS 17.1 (it's Android 10, so I presume it have the same features than Android 9, and even more). Having 4 persistent badges is quite annoying to be honest.
Thanks for the help !
Cheers,
1) Long press on that target app (e.g. AFWall+)
2) Go to notifications
3) Choose the notification in the list which you want to edit
4) Choose "Silent"
5) Choose "Minimize"
Done
Oh my god, that was so simple...
Dude, thanks a lot !
