Okay so I am wondering if anyone knows how to change the battery icon on the replacement Note7's back to white. Yes I know that is used to identify that it is a safe Note7 but I don't really care, the green battery icon is hideous. My phone isn't rooted and I don't plan on rooting it. Is there any way I can change it back without root?
Thanks!
I used a white marker.
The green is kinda growing on me... Lol
no, without root, no way
Search for "status" on the play store. Author is James fenn, that should do the trick.
Right now there is no solution

This app does work but my god it's even more ugly than the green battery indicator as some of the features don't work like transparency etc... so I uninstalled it haha.
only time the green battery bugs me is on the always on display, it just looks wrong when the rest of it is white.
Or you could wait for a short while until this recall is sorted and they change it back. It will NOT be green on the next 6.0.1 update and definitely not on the 7.x update. Just ignore it and carry on.

How do you know it will not remain in the next update?
I don't really get too bugged by the colour, but I don't like the very subtle contrast between empty and full!
It is quicker and easier to read the percentage than to focus on the colour delineation, which defeats the purpose of the icon at all.

Weird. Do you have the most up to date good lock? It made me update it before it would let me apply it. Maybe they changed the battery color for the Note7 to green in the latest update.

We definitely have different software numbers. Good Lock can be found on the Galaxy app store. Either you're on a different version of Good Lock or it has to do with the different software version.

This thread has some awesome customization features including adding the brightness slider into the notification toggle. However, as far as I can tell these themes only work on the GSM variant. I thought about giving it a try on the FreeGS3 R6 ROM but I'm a bit nervous about screwing my device up.
Anyone have another theming option for the brightness slider known to work with the T-Mobile variant? Or is anyone willing to try one of the themes in the above thread and report back?
Try this if you like..found it on sgs3 international version but it works on Tmo version.

I used to use this but I found sometimes hard to adjust and you can see the bar. If you make it semi or fully transparent its even harder to adjust. You can make the sliding area wider but it could take up too much area as to accidentally adjust the screen brightness when you're just trying to do notification pull down. Bad when you're outdoor in daylight and you accidentally dim the screen.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
The latest CM10 8/14 build is finally stable enough to use as a daily driver. So I ended up switching to that and I haven't found any bugs at all thus far. The huge plus here is that it has the feature built in where you can just slide your finger across the status bar to increase or decrease the brightness. It works great and I am extremely pleased.

Help, Nexus 7 & Android nerds! The just-pushed Google Play Music v5.0.x is utter, unmitigated crap. It looks like someone ate a box of orange creamsicles and vomited them on my tablet, it is difficult to navigate playlists, and it's hard to differentiate between music I actually have versus what they're trying to sell me especially if I'm using it on the move.
I want to downgrade to the last version, but I'm new to android and have only gotten rooting my tablet down so far. I have a .apk of v4.5.9, I have root access, and I have Titanium installed. But I do not know how to make all of the above result in v5.0.x being nuked from orbit (its the only way to be sure!) and the older version working in its place. Also concerned about blocking further "updates."
Just unistall the update like you would do with any other app...
Instead of "uninstall" there is an "uninstall update" option.
There's an inverted one already too. I didn't like the orange and white either. Lol

Hopefully they're just using different colors to distinguish the apps and the holo light ui. Google Play Store was green and white. Equally as bad in my opinion. But as long as there's great themers like the ones in Team BlackOut it'll be great

I have most of my music on my laptop, so I installed Google Music on that, once its synced you can stream it through data or WiFi to your phone or whatever device. I think you can sync multiple accounts too.
I honestly have no problem with the way it looks, but it functions rather poorly. I literally rotated my nexus 7 and the whole app just gave up while trying to change orientation.

I made this account just to agree with the OP. I had to say something about this, I am actually shocked there are so few who are..
He is right, this is horrible. It was so much easier to use before, I don't need a picture of every artist and so on.. Just a bunch of fancy nonsense.. I simply want to listen to my music and find it easily. I notice things like recent albums is missing which I used a lot to find new music I uploaded easily, is it really just gone? Or am I doing something wrong? Before I never had to use the search function.. Now I do which sucks. The orange color is awful also I mean horrid, I don't know how you go from grey and black to freaking orange.. I hate it, it reminds of that horrible Cingular Wireless orange icon..
I personally would take green over this sherbert orange any day.
I really wish I payed attention to the update, not like I knew they would do a complete overhaul ruining the entire app for me. I really don't see how anyone thinks it looks better or even functions better but to each their own.
I thought it was completely fine the way it was. Reminds me of when iTunes was ruined.. People can't just stick with what works well.. Anyway just my take on it. I absolutely loath this new update.

Thanking the gods for this.. Black is all I need.. That orange honestly makes me sick.
I agree as well. The new UI I think is horrible. Never mind the look and colors, etc. The general setup of the UI took a turn from the worse. Most the people I have talked to feel the same as well.
Honestly, I would of never bought the music I bought if I knew they were going to IMO destroy the app.

the only way to get paid themes to work is after you done downloaded the themes and applied then you need to disable "Themes Store" and "Themes", with Package Disabler Pro you can get them from APtoide store.

Download the test version, then go into ES FILE EXPLORER with root rights and go to DATA/overlays/Jsonfiles... in the trialjson are the "test" version files..... cut it and move them to userjson.... then go back to overlays and delete the PREFERENCES folter and restart.....after restart you have the PAID version of the theme!
