Hi,
If anyone has EFS partitions backup done by FreeGee for Korean F-240L, Stock rom is F240L10Z_00.KDZ
Please share it. I think i have lost it and didn't backup it Even after installing stock Rom, still do not get any signals. I`m really upset.
Please help.
Thank you
I need someone who has done nandroid backup for GT-I9190 running on stock rom (4.4.2). One of my friends has not computer and he wants to flash stock rom via cwm. If someone has nandroid backup and upload for me, I will really appreciate that. Thank you
Nobody will post an nandroid backup because it contains all personal data, IMEI, contacts, messages and so on.
I remember that there is a EFS option in TWRP. If you don't check EFS option, it will not backup EFS.

Sorry I don't use TWRP and don't know too much about.
Good luck
I have no mobile network and while I wait for the firmware to download from filefactory, does anyone have an EFS backup who is on the RETEU software channel?
If someone had one from RETBR would be good too, I have the same problem as you, I lost my IMEI don't exactly how but I think it had something to do with the EFS
In the meantime I've been going down the QPST route to restore my IMEI with no success. I have thw two IMEIs set to 0, so a TWRP backup + IMEI editing should work well if anyone could upload one for us.
can anyone backup their "efs" and upload it here so that i can restore it and get back my imei.
plzzz. needed indian efs

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. It's either a motherboard replacement from Motorola or a new phone. Sorry, but I learnt the hard way. (£120 mobo replacement) Don't use the chinese TWRP.

Do you know what action did the problem? For me the Chinese twrp works fine.
But there are two Chinese twrp! One from the all-in-in guide, and I've from another thread. Both are same version, but different in size. Having a look at both, I'm using the one from the all-in-one thread (don't remember why but I found it to be better). Maybe you had problems with the other?
Hello what have you done to lose the imei? thank you very much
regards

I accidentally wiped my efs partition with it. I think the one from the original rooting guide thread.

Do you use alberto's? Thank you

No but everyone should from now on. He told me his recovery has no risk of efs wiping

If you really tapped efs, then wipe, it is not the problem of the twrp. Thought it would misbehave in some way. It is a really bad idea to change anything on efs partition, but a recovery is not intended to prevent you from doing things you shouldn't do.
TWRP doesn't normally have access to the efs partition. That's why Alberto's one has no risk of wiping it.

Hello then with the one of alberto you can do wipes format and restore nandroid backup without any risk? Why did some people say they lost it by installing their own firwmare via rsdlite or fastboot? I feel my English

I restored from nandroid with alberto's twrp, there is no problem
After a problem with my computer I lost the backup made with twrp, and I need to flash back EFS to the z2 after a few test I made. Can someone send me a EFS backup? Tried to restore it with LineageOS but no luck, I keep getting IMEI 0.

Can't you just back it up and restore in twrp?
I read somewhere that they discouraged the TWRP backup method for efs, but maybe that information was outdated or device specific.
Thanks for your answer, i will backup with TWRP.

I've never had an issue with it in the past. I'll read up further for you and update shortly.
Edit:
Useful information: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g5s-plus/help/difference-efs-persist-partition-t3832892
Basically, backup your EFS and Persist. I checked my Persist and it's 0mb, but I read it's only 300-400 kilobytes so that explains the 0mb I assume. Persist is the map needed to reconstruct your EFS backup apparently. Not sure if latest TWRP has it, but OrangeFox recovery (which I'm currently on) has it. I highly recommend OrangeFox recovery to anyone wanting a nicer/cleaner recovery with more features.
