Ehi everybody. I'm in a bit of a mess. I have the latest Resurrection Remix, and it's fast, but the camera isn't working properly. As far as I understand it's a problem of all custom rom. I'd like to go back to a stock, rooted rom. But all I've downloaded can't be flashed. Cyanogenmod recovery says "signature failed" with almost everything I've tried, included the double recovery. It just fails and I reboot to this room. What can I do? What can I use to flash a stock, rooted rom??
Thanks.
Try flashing via TWRP

Yes, twrp. CM recovery is almost entirely useless.
Update: now I can't start my phone, out of nothing. While I try to figure out what's up, how do I install TWRP?

Download img - http://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-z1-compact/general/twrp-3-0-1-amami-t3350827 and flash with fastboot.
I tried, but then it doesn't start, altough the command says succes. I can only get to show the "presentation" of the recovery, then....... bootloop

You can try flashing a different boot and recovery img combo to get into recovery, but you'd have to have something in your storage to flash, (like a backup or a rom or something). Otherwise, if you can't get into recovery you can just flash ftf with Flashtool if you'd rather.
I tried signin in with flashtool, but i'm still waiting for the confirmation email.
On 3 different accounts, with 3 different emails. And no spam.

Oh, you're using Emma... You don't need registration, just follow this - http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/ Or you can use Flashtool by Androxyde - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
I'm gonna try. Keep you updated.
Edit: when I run the .exe it says what's in the attachment. Of course, java is installed.
If your talking about emma flashtool you don't need a confirmation email. You just need to copy the customization.ini file to the root folder of the flashtool.

Ok so I am not the greatest when it comes to flashing ROMs but so far I have managed to get by.
I went from MMuzzyROM 4.2.2 to [ROM] [4.3] [JSS15J]. I wiped my data/dalvick/cache, flashed the new ROM and Gaaps and installed SuperuserSU. As of right now SuperuserSU will not install and I get an installation error. And when using Rom Manager I can not reboot into recovery. And there is a bit more, when I try and boot into recovery from the holding the volume and power button down, after choosing recovery the android with the error shows up. From what I understand is that the 4.3 rom I flashed removed the stock recovery, but I am just confused how to get back recovery.
My main question is did I loose root and how can I get the recovery option back.
Thanks, Noel

what error message?
what's the fastboot command you're using to flash recovery.
about loosing your recovery after flashing/boot/reboot OS for the first time, it's probably the same that 4.2 had
/system/recovery-from-boot.p
/system/install-recovery.sh

The error message is when using the clockwork mod app to install the recovery, once downloaded it states an error has occurred. Then when trying TWRP I am following these steps I get "fastboot is not a recognizable command..." I am pretty lost as you can tell and am thankful for the help.

Mainly because I thought if I had rooted my device and done all this once, I should remember how to do it again. But through ignorance I thought I could and be able to remember the steps and what not. I'll read through it and figure it out, it was just a moment of panic of losing the option of recovery that I have had for a long time and not being able to use it means (or I think it means) I am just stuck of 4.3 for a bit and hopefully the ROM isn't too bad.

Then I enter recovery. The installation of the its begins and the error is status 7. The phone is bought from China. Installed the WW Rom. Afterwards, I flashed the rooted WW Rom.

You need to replace boot.img, droidboot.img and recovery with the version of ww android you are trying to flash through fastboot.
Just remember that as you are replacing the bootloader and recovery these files MUST be perfect. If they're corrupt you will end up with a brick.
Don't worry about using ADB to flash stock rom, the pre-rooted image is fine just make sure you wipe all the partitions and then reflash them before flashing the system.img...
You should be able to find the 1st 3 files in the pre-rooted image thread as Shakalaka included them in his download directory with the pre-rooted.img file... Thankyou again Shakalaka...

Did I say go to recovery?
You just hold Power and volume up from power off or bootloop. This should get you to bootloader mode. It should have a few options the first being "normal boot", pressing down goes through a few options like recovery and so on.
If you press up there are no options displayed. This is fastboot and the safest way to flash with fastboot. If you don't hit power the other options will flash with fastboot too BUT if you hit the power button it will reset to the option displayed.
Go to to bootloader mode, press volume up and use fastboot to either erase cache or flash the rom on your phone. It must be a pre-rooted rom as the stock ones WON'T flash through fastboot...
I was trying to install superzen but I accidentally wiped the OS. Am I screwed? Is there anything I can do, or is this looking like I bricked the phone?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/asus-zenfone-2-flashing-recovery-mode-t3096596
Go there and look at section 3.2. MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that you grab the correct firmware for your device (WW or CN, 550 or 551). As far as I can tell, unless you made a NANDROID backup in custom recovery prior to wiping system, this would be your only way back to working order.
Are you currently unable to get back to a custom recovery? Can you not just successfully flash superzen now?

Did you unlock bootloader? KK version 442 or 443? Add debugging enabled in settings? If all yes, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. You could try different options, there are a few for KK - pimped kernel, Great devs kernel, and you could root with easy rootkit.
BTW - to restore your phone without flashing whole ROM again, check boxes under 'exclude' options for everything but kernel.

Do you have root access when you turn on the phone? Did you make sure USB debugging is enable in settings, and also check 'allow USB debugging' pop-up when you connect to computer? If yes to all, just restart computer and/or phone, and reconnect and try again. XZDR is solid. If you have root, it will work. BTW - is bootloader unlocked or locked?

Bootloader unlocked: Yes
Rooting status: "here is nothing" i guess not
i restared everything still not work but i guess its because i dont get the root acces thats my main problem when should i have got it ?
Another Idea: When i install the EasyRootTool v12.4 it ends with "creating vm <loljavasucks>" is that what it supposed to write when its finished? When i keep that Easyroot window open and start the dual recovery installation, the easyroot tells me "done, checking if device is rooted... error: its not"
So i guess the problem is that i still not rooted my device but i thought that is what i am actually trying to do with easyroot..?

Ok, try this - download this zip https://mega.nz/#!lh9i0AYI!iH3Vw5keSNo66CHvq3c6V9HMCWAWJ5FIYcZZ35U254g It contains 2 files, one is a kernel and one is a recovery. Also download supersu 246 zip from here https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip?retrieve_file=1 and put it on your phone somewhere. Then connect in fastboot mode and flash the 2 IMG files:
'fastboot flash boot [name of kernel file].img'
'fastboot flash recovery [name of recovery file].img'
Then unplug and power on. When you see colored led, press volume key and you should get into recovery. When in recovery, flash supersu zip. Then power off, and connect in flash mode. Open Flashtool and flash the stock kernel from your ftf. Reboot and you should be rooted.

You can flash whatever you want now. If you want stock 5.1, you can use Flashtool / Xperifirm to download ftf and flash, or use Emma. You will lose root, but you can get it back the same way you just did. If you want to root 5.1 that way, you can extract boot img from advanced kernel and download latest twrp img, and just fastboot those, and no need to reflash stock kernel afterwards.
Advanced kernel - https://forum.xda-developers.com/so...rnel-advanced-14-5-0-242-kernel-v1-0-t3096060
Twrp 3 for Z1c - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862711713
Alternately, you could flash a prf, or any custom ROM you want

What did you flash?
Hi,
I have installed MIUI in my OP3 this morning, which was working fine. There was an OTA update, after installing it, device rebooted and entered into recovery mode and it was hanging there for more than an hour. Whrn I tried to reboot, it was off and never came up. Tried unbrick using MSM Download Tool and then I am able to get into boot loader screen. From there I have tried to flash TWRP, but if I reboot, I am getting this message only. Currently I have access to bootloader, if I flash TWRP and choose to boot from recovery (from pc), I have access to OTG also. But even after flashing a ROM, If I reboot, I am getting attached screen only.
I have access to TWRP, only when I chiose to reboot from All in one tool from PC.
Please help me.
you have to use method 2of unbrick not method1.it will flash whole stock rom , then reboot enable developer options etc then flash twrp recovery then go ahead.
Use Method 2. Make sure to follow all steps. Please do quote me otherwise i do not know if you need any further help.
