Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) Marshmallow IMG file - ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying to download the latest MM Firmware from the ASUS driver center, but ASUS removed and placed the downgrade (Lollipop instead of Marshmallow) trying to get the firmware as a backup in case of bootloop or brick
So anyone still have the lastest MM firmware .img file, if you have, please share it here...

[Q]how to flash kdz file on Gpad8.3?

Hi guys I bought Gpad and I am living in Korea.
I tried to flash twrp on my pad to install cm11roms...
so I looked up the twrp thread and tried everything I could... but I failed..T_T
I found out that my firmware version is v50010e
probably that is the reason. because it seems that the .lok file is for v50010a, which is lower version of firmware.
therefore I found v50010a version of kdz file and tried to flash it. but I have no idea what options I should select for the LG pad...
(I have lg smart phones so I know what to do with phones, but not with tablet....)
does anyone know how to flash kdz file for Gpad8.3?
please help me...>_<

drgavy who have ported twrp for our devices is very helpful and might help you to create a version of twrp that is compatible with your firmware

first i want you to know that . h811 have antirollback. means if you flash a higher version you cant go back or hard bricked..
so am aware of LP 10n is V2 and so is MM20i you can flash and change from LP to MM or MM to LP only if you stay in this version LP 10n -MM 20i
now if you flash 20o MM thats V3 you cant go back to 10n or 20i.
once in MM 20o you can flash latest MM 20p wich is V3 also so in this case you can change from 20o-20p MM
now you must doenload LGUP search for it .. and decide wich version you want to be on.. and search for that version KDZ.
install drivers i think you can find it on LGUP thread. install LGUP , doenload the KDZ you want to use.
and follow each step.
Ok i get it .. But is there is any reason to downgrade from mm to lp...

Moving to stock ROM from Cyanogen 14.1

Hi everyone,
I installed Cyanogen 14.1 on my LG G4 (LG-H815) (Android version 7.1.1)
Is it possible for me to change back to stock LG G4 rom?
If so, how can I do it? Is it as simple as downloading the ROM and flashing via recovery? Does it have to be via KDZ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

note downgrading causes brick on some phones.. so you best bet is to flash one of the latest versions.
my suggestion is using KDZ file and LGUP program. and selecting the refurbished option.. this wipes the phone clean..

Could you please provide me a link for the stock Indian unit firmware & also guide me on flashing which firmware I would be able to receive OTA updates.
I have read on another threads that you need to flash the base version first in order to be eligible for OTA updates.
Thanks in advance!

I flashed the latest chinese stock and was able to recive OTA updates without using a VPN or anything.
Flashing Indian rom is useless. Its not going to relock your bootloader. I tried it myself. To relock bootloader you need to flash Chinese rom zui 1.9 and then flash Indian rom through MiFlash tool. I prefer MiFlash tool coz its the easiest way out there to flash roms. I myself tried it and now I am on locked bootloader. Dont forget to backup your data on your pc before flashing. Other thing is that its a very hard task to download zui 1.9 from Baidu link. ???. Let me know if you need furthur assistance
