No PC, but I don't have the latest build. I did try with the latest build of hydrogen (which is having the same recovery issue) and flashify worked great to restore and update twrp.
Hope that helps.

So how did you root the phone? Supersu would not have been there the moment you flashed community build for h2os?

I had a computer for root. Now I don't. Which is why I restored twrp with flashify

You can just flash the twrp "3.0.2-19" search for it on the forums. It prevents this issue.

The twrp I just told you about will not remove twrp at all. Check it out. It keeps your recovery in tact with new h2o and comm build oos

The question is, can we use ATO with TWRP installed?
Only custom roms have OTA available with TWRP installed.

Oxygen Os fails to install the OTA when detected root ot any changes to system patrition, thus you have to wait for the full zip and dirty flash over the existing. Fairly simple.
I can still do a nandroid backup and restore stock OxygenOS, correct?

You can clean flash. It is a full zip. I have restricted access to it now as I don't see anyone getting the OTA. So, it might be a mistake build. Lol.

Hey @gee2012,

Thankyou.

No, you need to flash the stock recovery.img in fastboot first and then you can flash the zip in recovery/flash from local.

I (call me moron) am bricked (TWRP is installed) and looking for stock recovery also. Could someone post it, please? Otherwise I'm unable to flash a stock ROM. (TWRP does flash it, but after that it says "No OS installed".)
At least I have to wait for my new SIM cards for a few days anyway, so... never mind...

At least you have a problem that can be solved I posted a request for the stock recovery.img so maybe will upload it.
lol i guess everyone got excited and just installed TWRP off the bat, now that i have learned to pull .img files, its too late for me since i installed twrp instead of booting up, there has to be someone who had done it, i wonder why no is providing it, its a simple task.
hey guysim having an issue, recently i bricked my phone to the point where it askes for a md5 check on system but i fixed it and got it booting now. my issue is any liniage os rom wont get past the system install part on twrp, it just stays stuck and never moves on past it. any fixes? i used the method 2 on mega unbrick guide to get my phone up and running again.
Did you install the required firmware? Since after the unbrick tool yo is ill be at 3.2.2 I think.

For custom roms, not official (Oxygen), you need custom recovery eng-stk, first.

No, flashing a kernal won't result in a different twrp. BUT inside the kernal downloads he also has a few Twrp releases. You will need this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=22806

Well then it's not a Twrp issue.. Ask the rom maintainer.
I have a rooted Honor 8 pro (DUK-L09C675B130), with an update in queue but everytime I download the update the phone boots into TWRP and it is not able to flash it. I searched for threads to unroot the phone (or get the old recovery) but I didn't find any solid answer. Also, when I try to enter recovery using the button combination Huawei E recovery shows up instead of TWRP. And TWRP is unable to flash anything, be it an official update or custom files. Any kind of assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

I just checked. You're right. Can't find it too.
So I made research but couldn’t find a clear answer. If I want to go back to OOS, can I just download the latest build from OnePlus site and flash it in TWRP and be all good? Or will my TWRP get replaced with stock recovery after flashing it?
Cuz I am now using paranoid android which is based on Nougat 7.1.2 but I want to give newest Oreo OOS a shot after a while.
And is it true that I don’t need anything else but the zip of an OOS? I am not planning to root or install magisk because I don’t feel like needing root nowdays.
Thanks for reading :fingers-crossed:
twrp will get replaced, you will have to flash twrp immediately after flashing the rom to retain twrp.

So Basicly i tried to install TWRP from that thread, didn't work + hardbricked my device (problem solved) so I don't recommend it. I wonder is there ever gonna be working TWRP for 11T? I would really be happy if someone
would left guide here how to flash TWRP that would work. Thanks.
