Once Done You Should Now Have A Created ADB Directory Which Should Be Located At C:\adb. Once ADB Is Setup, Place The sun7 Folder And CommandPrompt.bat Inside Your ADB Folder From The New Directory.

5. Now Open Odin3.exe, Click On "AP", Select "MODIFIED_TMO_SPR_N930PVPU1APH3_REV00_ENGBOOT_FIRMWARE.tar.md5", And Then Click On "Start". Wait For A Couple Of Minutes For The Modified N930PVPU1APH3 Engboot Firmware To Finish Installing.

Now Go Into Your ADB Directory First Thing You Might Want To Do Which Is Optional Is Open My Modified root.sh Shell Script That's Inside The sun7 Folder And In The Bloatware Section You Can Remove Any Of The Hashtags "#" To Remove Certain Applications That I Have Left Not To Be Removed By Default. Make Sure To Check Out The Information I Have Left Inside Of The Shell Script For The Users. Once Your Done With That Save Your Edits And Now Open The CommandPrompt.bat That You Have Placed In Your ADB Directory And Copy And Paste The Following Commands That You See Below One By One To Get Your Device Rooted.
Code:
adb push sun7 /data/local/tmp/su

Once Rebooted You Are All Done Your Device Is Now Rooted Again And You Can Now Restore Any Of Your Applications And Data And You Don't Need To Install Busybox Since My Modified su.img Has Already Got It Placed Inside The Image File And Extracts It To su/xbin. Also My Modified root.sh Shell Script Will Add More Tweaks To The Rom Adding Init.d Support, Setting Kernel To Permissive, And Disabling Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling!
Note #1 - Turn Off Automatic Updates For SuperSU In The Google Play Store Because Whenever There's A New Version For It And If You Update It, Root Will Break.
Note #2 - If Your Going To Use S-Health Don't Allow Google Play Store Or The Galaxy Apps Store To Update It Because The Latest Version Of The Application Checks For Root And Breaks The App. If It Gets Updated, Just Remove Any Traces Of It From system/priv-app/SHealth4 And data/app/com.sec.android.app.shealth-1 And Then Install The S-Health App From The Link Provided - Click Here

@jovy23. Thank you so much for yet another option for our Note 7's!
Can you tell me if this is compatible with xposed?
Is this still stable? I know with the rooting and all that good stuff of the s7 series, root cause quite a few instability issues.
v.v and nice, knox does not get trip! Anyone able to confirm samsung pay still works?
May just give this a spin when I get home...instead of exchanging for s7 edge lmao
edit: ah still based on sprint rooting system i see

Everything Works Wi-Fi Calling, VOLTE, Even Bluetooth Works I Even Paired One Of My Bluetooth Headsets And Even After A Reboot It Automatically Re-Paired And It's Still Connected No Bugs Whatsoever This Is 100% Deodexed And Not Ran Into One Bug Yet! Even Though I Always Thought Benchmarks Is Bull In My Opinion, I Always Get Above 143,000 Antutu Benchmark Scores!
Oh yeah by the way even though i don't use Xposed, but for testing purposes even Xposed works!
Thanks for this @jovy23 any difference in how the phone reacts as compare to stock, is it more fluid less stutter

It's super stable there is no instability issues. Samsung pay will not work because of root im guessing latest samsung pay update should now check for both triggered knox and root even while i was on the odexed firmware root method samsung pay or any of the other paying apps didn't work as well. Flashing the modified tar file will likely flash the sprint firmware but the step after that your installing the tmobile firmware over it so there is no sprint system once your device boots to the setup wizard the only thing that's sprint is the kernel everything else is tmobile based.

Your welcome. :good:
And by the way just to let everyone know i have found a way to get the rom to install from the internal storage as well! Internal storage root method will be the main method so no more MicroSD card instructions from now on which should be somewhat easier. Once im done testing, I will most likely release the instructions tomorrow or by the weekend.

EZbase, is a fully deodexed and zipaligned pre rooted odin / heimdall image for people wanting to move from stock ROM's to custom ROM's. It used by a lot of people for a recovery image if it all goes wrong, simply flash this and you on a stock Samsung image with root and 2e recovery.
Still testing the new recovery & kernel so attached is a copy of EZbase with stock CWM Recovery, until the new recovery has been 100% tested!

This is a Step by Step guide how to flash EZbase to your Samsung Galaxy S.
There are lots of different ways to flash ROMs to your Samsung Galaxy S, Personally I use heimdall but thats because I use *nix. I find this one to be easiest and fastest for windows users.
If you complete this guide there the worlds your oyster, simply copy different mods/ROMs to the SD Card and flash directly from there going back to your base at any time should you need to revert back.
If you have any issues what so ever, the best place to begin is a clean EZbase flash.
NOTE: No root or anything is required, you can simply do this on a stock Samsung ROM.

Warning!
There have been many reports about a problematic batch of Samsung Galaxy S phones that are not able to boot into recovery or download mode. If you are going to flash a ROM please make sure you can enter these modes before doing ANYTHING. See the 3-button combo fix if you cannot access Recovery Mode.

Android Debug Bridge (a.k.a. adb) - http://nfye.eu/EZbase/i9000/adb.zip
Download all the EZOdin, EZbase CSC, PDA, PHONE and PIT if you do not have Samsung Kies installed, The Samsung USB Drivers will be required to. For simplicity sake place all the files into a single directory e.g. c:\toolkit\ however they can be placed where you like, hopefully in the future I might get all the requirements into an installer.
If you do not have Samsung Kies installed please install the Samsung USB Drivers and make sure your device is recognised by the OS. Once all the pre requisites have been fulfilled, then please continue to Step One or Step Two. If Samsung Kies is used please make sure you kill all Samsung Kies related services that are running (kies, tray agent, etc.)
Check that your phone has sufficient power, unplug your phone if it is plugged into USB or wall charger. Type *#0228# in to the dialler and check Voltage is at least 3800(mV).
Flash EZbase
Repartition is not mandatory, but it does not hurt to repartition the phone.
Start Phone in Download Mode (No Cable Attached)
Open EZOdin.
- Check Re-Partition
- Select EZbase.pit as PIT
- Select EZbase-PDA-XWJS3.tar.md5 as PDA
- Select EZbase-PHONE-XXJVE.tar.md5 as PHONE
- Select EZbase-CSC-XXJV1.tar.md5 as CSC
Connect Phone with USB Cable - Once ID:COM is yellow you are safe to continue.
Select Start
Complete, now wait for your phone to fully start-up before you continue with anything.
Install Custom ROM
Copy the ROM onto the Internal SD Card. This can be done via adb or placing your phone in USB debug mode and mounting the USB as storage.
Reboot the phone in recovery mode
Select "Install ZIP File"
Select "choose zip from sdcard"
Select "insanity-0.x.x.zip"
Select "Yes - Install"
Wait a while it installs the new ROM.
Select "Reboot Phone"
NOTE: As this is a de-odex`d ROM, First boot will take some time.
Other Information
ADB - Android Debug Bridge
To use the Android Debug Bridge you need to enable Debugging Mode first. Once enabled you will be able to use ADB and do a number of things.
Enable Debugging Mode
Press "Menu"
Select "Settings"
Select "Applications"
Select "Development"
Check "USB debugging"
Select "Yes"
Connect the phone to the USB cable and plug the other end directly into the PC.
NOTE: The computer should start installing the necessary ADB drivers. A total of three devices will be installed (Samsung Android Composite ADB Interface, Samsung Android USB Modem, Samsung USB Composite Device.
You should also now see two icons in the notification area.
Mass Storage
It is possible to mount the internal SD and microSD card as storage on your local pc, this is useful if you do not wish to use adb to copy files around.
If you wish to use your device as Mass Storage:
Pull down the notification area
Select "USB connected"
Select "Connect USB storage"
You should now be able to see your device in explorer
You should always safely eject the storage
Select "Turn Off"
Download Mode

xvi32 - http://nfye.eu/EZbase/i9000/xvi32.exe
P-SBL.tar.md5 - http://nfye.eu/EZbase/i9000/P-SBL.tar.md5

# dd if=/dev/block/bml1 of=/sdcard/bml1.dump
# exit
C:\adb pull /sdcard/bml1.dump
Open the bml1.dump file with XVI32.
- Search (in ASCII Mode) for OFNI.
If the block reads "[email protected]" just follow the tutorial below, as it is safe to fix.
NOTE: If it reads "x0" then STOP as this FiX will BRICK your phone if applied.
Open EZOdin
- Select the "P-SBL.tar.md5" as PDA file.
- Check "Bootloader Update"
Connect Phone with USB Cable and place phone in download mode (ADB method)

It was ready a while back, we was about to do it and then a new firware came out and it got put on the back burner
My phone was on 6.6 but as it needed testing I redid it as per the written instructions just so we knew it worked 100%
IF people follow the guide then they SHOULD get a 100% working insanity rom with no hassle.. (we live in hope )
TrOjAn
Thanks for this, it's a nice initiative. I've been doing the same, just with different files from samfirmwares + I've needed to install a kernel to get easy access to root + cwm so this lets me skip that part
One thing though, you might want to either put this in your guide, or alternatively modify the app, but that Odin you have is version 1.7.. which has given me trouble (Windows 7, 32bit) in the past. Odin 1.82 works fine so just as a tip for people who might have problems getting odin to work

One thing though, you might want to either put this in your guide, or alternatively modify the app, but that Odin you have is version 1.7.. which has given me trouble (Windows 7, 32bit) in the past. Odin 1.82 works fine so just as a tip for people who might have problems getting odin to work

odin either not connecting or just standing there doing nothing, never found out why but after using 1.82 its worked fine so I never felt like going back
and your files work with the standard odin anyway so it's not a big deal

NOTE: Key files are signed with a Digital Certificate from skipsoft.net but some ‘may’ get picked up as potentially harmful by Antivirus Programs and deleted. They are not harmful, this is a false positive given because of the compiler used. If this happens restore the file and exclude the folder from future scans to use it. This seems to happen mostly on AVG Free and Norton. If you are using the Auto Update feature on pro versions then you will need to disable the AV program or exclude the folder from scans before running the update again.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUBLIC (FREE) AND PROFESSIONAL (DONATE) VERSIONS?
THE PUBLIC VERSION OF THE TOOLKIT INCLUDES EVERYTHING YOU COULD NEED TO MANIPULATE AND ROOT YOUR DEVICE.
ACTIVATING THE PROFESSIONAL VERSION ADDS THE MOST USEFUL FUNCTION IN THE TOOLKIT, THE ABILITY TO CHECK FOR ‘AUTO UPDATES’ DIRECTLY VIA THE TOOLKIT AND HAVE THEM PUSHED TO YOUR PC RIGHT AWAY AS SOON AS THEY ARE UPLOADED WITHOUT NEEDING TO DOWNLOAD THE WHOLE TOOLKIT EVERY TIME. YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE LATEST VERSION AS SOON AS IT IS MADE AVAILABLE. THIS MEANS SMALLER UPDATES CAN BE SENT OUT MORE FREQUENTLY, SUCH AS ADDING A SINGLE FUNCTION, FIXING A BUG OR ADDING COMPATIBILITY FOR A SINGLE CARRIER. THE SMALLER UPDATES WILL BE COMPILED AND RELEASED TO THE XDA COMMUNITY AS A FULL (PUBLIC) DOWNLOAD VERSION SO PROFESSIONAL VERSIONS ARE ALWAYS UPDATED SOONER.
THE PRO VERSION ALSO ADDS THE ABILITY TO CHECK FOR THE LATEST VERSION OF SUPERUSER AND RECOVERY FILES AND DOWNLOAD THEM DIRECTLY TO THE TOOLKIT.
THE ‘QUICK PICKS’ SECTION[/B] ALLOWS YOU TO PROGRAM UPTO 10 SLOTS WITH TASKS THAT YOU MAY PERFORM ON A REGULAR BASIS OR JUST WANT TO KEEP A SET OF TASKS IN 1 PLACE. THEN JUST SELECT THE SLOT AND IT WILL REMEMBER ALL YOUR SETTINGS FOR THAT TASK AND RUN IT.
PRO USERS CAN ALSO SELECT THE “ANY BUILD” OPTION IN THE BUILD SELECTION SCREEN TO ROOT ANY BUILD AS LONG AS THE VERSION IS SUPPORTED (USEFUL IF YOUR BUILD IS NOT LISTED).
MORE IMPORTANTLY DONATING SHOWS YOUR APPRECIATION AND ALLOWS THE TOOLKIT TO CONTINUE TO EVOLVE AND GROW.
AUTO REPLY LINKS FOR PAYPAL TO GET A CODE INSTANTLY CAN BE FOUND AT http://goo.gl/nyGqv
--------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE READ THE *HELP* PAGE AT http://www.skipsoft.net/?page_id=1269 OR USE THE INFORMATION SECTION WITHIN THE TOOLKIT IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. I HAVE TAKEN A LOT OF TIME TO WRITE IT AND SOMETHING ON THERE SHOULD ANSWER 99% OF PROBLEMS.
--------------------------------------------------------------
1. INSTALLING ADB/FASTBOOT DRIVERS
The first thing you need to do is to install the adb/fastboot drivers. These are needed so that you can unlock your bootloader, root your device and perform other adb/fastboot functions.
THE DRIVERS CAN BE INSTALLED DIRECTLY VIA THE TOOLKIT. OPTION 1 IN THE MAIN MENU.
If drivers are not installed or there is an exclamation mark next to the device:
Plug the device in to a usb cable directly connected to your motherboard.
In the Device Manager a new item, usually called Android 1.0 should pop up in the list.
Right click on the device item then left click on Update Driver Software. Select 'browse my computer' and then 'Let me pick from a list'.
If no adb interface driver appears in the list then untick 'Show compatible hardware' and find the Android or Samsung adb interface driver.
If you cannot find either of these click Have Disk, browse to the Toolkit install folder, drivers folder, click on android_winusb.inf and click Open.
Click OK and select Google ADB Interface.
Make sure you have USB debugging enabled in settings, developer options. In Android 4.2.2 or later you have to enable the developer options screen by going to settings, About on your device and click on Build number at the bottom 7 times until it says You are now a developer. If you have already enabled usb debugging then unplug/replug the usb cable.
On Android 4.2.2 or later when you replug the usb cable after enabling usb debugging for the first time you will get a popup asking you to authenticate your pc. Tick 'Always allow' then click 'ok'.
--------------------------------------------------------------
2. USING SKIPSOFT UNIFIED ANDROID TOOLKIT
When starting the Toolkit you will first be asked which device you want to work with. Working folders will be created and the device files downloaded. You will then be taken to the Model/Build selection screen where you can do a number of things (other than select your model/build): Type '00' to enter your activation code and enable pro features, 'i' will take you to the Information and Help Section, 'a' will give you information on how to add support for a new build.
Supported builds are listed in the Model/Build selection screen and typing the associated number (i.e. 11) will download needed boot and recovery files (stock and custom recovery) then check for and download the latest superuser files available and custom recovery (pro versions only), verify all the files and start the Main Menu. You can now use all the functions and tools the Android Toolkit offers. Pro users can select the "any build" option to root any build (useful if your build is not listed).

**FAQ**
Q. What is ADB Shell?
Adb shell is a linux command line tool (because android is based on linux) used to send commands to your android device. For S-ON devices, this is crucial for modifying files in the /system partition (where the rom sits) as you cannot modify anything in /system when the rom is running without S-OFF (e.g removing system apps).
From Google:
Android Debug Bridge (adb) is a versatile tool lets you manage the state of an emulator instance or Android-powered device. It is a client-server program that includes three components:
A client, which runs on your development machine. You can invoke a client from a shell by issuing an adb command. Other Android tools such as the ADT plugin and DDMS also create adb clients.
A server, which runs as a background process on your development machine. The server manages communication between the client and the adb daemon running on an emulator or device.
A daemon, which runs as a background process on each emulator or device instance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. I flashed CWM but each time I reboot the Stock Recovery is back
There is an auto recovery restore system on Android that will reflash the Stock Recovery if you flash CWM on a Stock Rom.
Use Root Explorer to Mount the system folder as R/W (or use a free app from the Market). Delete the file recovery-from-boot.p from /system. Now when you flash CWM Recovery it will NOT be overwritten after a reboot. You can also use the Toolkit to rename the files if you wish.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. What is the difference between Nandroid and Titanium backup?
A NANDROID will backup the whole system including boot, system, data and recovery partitions so you can restore a complete rom and all data and settings.
Essentially Titanium Backup is used to backup apps and associated user data. These could be restored AFTER a full wipe and a new Rom had been flashed on your phone.
The other option now which google added into the new adb command list is the adb backup which is in the ToolKit and can do the same job as Titanium Backup but will store the data on your PC rather than on the phone (where it takes up space and could be deleted).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. When would i perform a nandroid vs a titanium backup?
You would perform a nandroid backup to back up your entire system including boot image and data and system partitions so you can restore your entire system back to that particular point in the future.
You would use Titanium Backup mainly to back up your installed apps and settings so they could be reinstalled easily and quickly on any future roms. You can also choose individual apps to backup or restore on Titanium Backup whereas if you restore your boot partition via CWM Recovery you are stuck with the whole lot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. When I try to open the ToolKit I get a box pop up for a split second and then it goes away. My AntiVirus program says the file may be harmful.
The exe files I compiled are not digitally signed with a Microsoft certificate (as they cost money) so certain AntiVirus programs (mainly Norton and AVG Free) will pick it up as potentially harmful when it is not. They pick up ANY file that doesnt contain a purchased Microsoft certificate in the same way. Restore the deleted file and exclude it from further scans and it will be fine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. I donated but where do I get my activation code from?
Donation Codes are sent out manually to your PayPal email address [unless otherwise stated] after a confirmation email from PayPal has been receive. The Code can then be entered in the ToolKit Settings, Activate Donators Features Screen. This will enable The Auto Updates, Quick Picks and Extras Features in the ToolKit. Please be patient when waiting for the Code to be sent as it depends very much on what I am doing and whether I am at my PC when the donation is made. Please do not post in the ToolKit's thread or pm me asking for the activation code as it clogs up the thread and my messages. If you haven't received your code after 24 hours then feel free to email me via the skipsoft.net contact page.
Don't worry that you have been forgotten about, I check all emails personally and will deal with it as soon as I can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. I have Windows 8 and cannot install the drivers
How to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows 8:
From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings (move your mouse to the bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
Click ‘More PC Settings’.
Click ‘General’.
Scroll down, and click ‘Restart now’ under ‘Advanced startup’.
Wait a bit.
Click ‘Troubleshoot’.
Click ‘Advanced Options’
Click ‘Windows Startup Settings’
Click Restart.
When your computer restarts, select ‘Disable driver signature enforcement‘ from the list. You can now load your modified driver. Reboot again once the driver is installed and all will be well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. I flashed the Stock Firmware Image. Odin flashes the file successfully and the phone reboots but it stays stuck on the samsung logo
If the firmware tar file does not include a userdata image (which most Samsung firmware do not) then your userdata partition will be left from your previous setup. If this is incompatible with the new firmware because of build or something else then your system will freeze on boot up.
This is easily fixable by holding the Volume UP, Home and Power buttons all at the same time for about 10 seconds until the device reboots to the Stock Recovery screen. Use the Volume Down button to scroll down to 'wipe data/factory reset' and press the Home button to select it. Go down to yes to confirm and your userdata partition will be wiped. Your device should now boot fine.

Yeah I saw it too. Imagine my disappointment when I couldn't find a hint of the option. The toolkit is still really good. I hope such a feature is added soon.

That was for the N7100 thread lol and yes I did take it off as I thought it would be confusing. The Multiwindow function was added in the ALJ3 firmware and I think most of the US Models are on the ALJ1 firmware at the moment so as soon as your firmware gets updated or someone posts a mod patch you should be able to use it. Its one of the best functions I have seen on a phone and very useful on the big screen.

The stock images listed in the download section are only N7100 models right now but hopefully some images should be leaked soon for the other variants.

I am trying to upload the v2.0.0 Auto Update version to my server but my hoster only allows files upto a certain size so I have had to emai them to explain what the file is and why I need to upload it. Hopefully it will be resolved tonight but you can allways download the full version for now as it will install over 1.1.0 without problems. This was a huge update in terms of file size so the update size is more than half the size of the entire toolkit lol.

No there are no factory images available yet so I guess its not 100% full lol.
As you are a recognised dev can you get me the mount points for the sprint model please? I need to know what/if changes there are over the N7100 model.

Well that would explain it. I was perusing the original threads for quite a while before I was able to get the phone. It's very likely that I just confused the two. I hope the update comes out soon. Videos of multi window on youtube are quite awesome.

Wow, I mean wow is this slick, so easy, so nice this tool kit is BOSS! seriously awesome work to everyone involved in not only the toolkit, but the rooting and recovery, everything so freakin' slick!
I was so excited to get this phone I didn't even consider rooting it until I was standing in the store paying for it, then It was like someone kicked me in the gut, I hope they can get root on this pretty quick, no way did I think it would be the first day, let alone this full blown tool kit so soon.
So yeah, once again nice job!

PLEASE READ THE *FAQ* IN POST#2 BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------
1. INSTALLING GALAXY NOTE2 DRIVERS
The first thing you need to do is to install the drivers. These are needed so that you can communicate with the phone via the PC and perform the tasks that the ToolKit offers.
NOTE: If you have Kies installed then it is advisable to uninstall it first to avoid conflicts.
a. Make sure your phone is booted into Android and the USB cable is unplugged.
b. Select Option 1 in the ToolKit to install the Samsung USB Driver pack. This should install all the neccessary drivers you need.
C. While the drivers are installing make sure that USB Debugging is enabled on your phone via the Settings, Developer options Screen.
d. After the drivers have been installed connect the USB cable and the PC should detect the phone and install the correct drivers. This will also happen when you enter Download Mode and Recovery Mode for the first time.
e. If you want to check the drivers then go to your Control Panel on your PC and open the Device Manager. With the USB cable connected you should see a device listed as 'Samsung Android Phone' or something similar and a driver attached to it.
NOTE: If you are having trouble with your device being detected or the drivers installing correctly then you could try rebooting your phone, using a different usb port and making sure no other drivers are installed on your pc.
--------------------------------------------------------------
2. USING MSKIPS' SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE2 TOOLKIT
a. Download the Samsung Galaxy Note2 ToolKit package and run to install the ToolKit to your PC. The installation will also create a Shortcut on your desktop for easy access. You have the option to include or exclude the drivers files at installation so if you already have your drivers set up and are just updating the ToolKit then you can untick the drivers if you wish.
b. Once the ToolKit is installed make sure your phone is booted and plugged in via USB cable and double click on the shortcut on your desktop to run it.
c. You will be asked if you want to check for an Update. If you type 'yes' this will download and check the latest version numbers against the versions in the ToolKit. If there is an update available then you will have the option to download and install it (professional feature).
d. You will now be presented with a Model Selection Screen to choose the Model/Build that you are currently on. Type the number that corresponds to your desired selection. For example type '12' for INTERNATIONAL GSM MODEL [GT-N7100] 4.1.1 [Build ALJ1-ALJ3]. If you cannot find the build your device is using then type 'h' to select the HELP option to get more info.
NOTE: If you have a new build that isnt covered by the Toolkit you can also type 'a' in the Model Selection screen to see instructions on how to pull your stock image and send it to [email protected] so support can be added.
e. The Toolkit will now locate and download the boot image pack for your chosen Model. This is a new feature so the Toolkit is not limited to how many Models can be added and it cuts down ALOT on the download size. After the zip file has finished downloading it will be extracted to the correct folders and the files checked to make sure everything is ok.
f. When you enter the Main Menu you will see 'Adb Mode' at the top. If you have installed your drivers correctly then you will see your devices serial number under the text with 'device' next to it. If you see this then your device is connected and you can carry on.
NOTE: If you haven't installed the drivers and don't see a serial number at the top then this is the FIRST thing you want to do so the Toolkit can operate properly.
g. Each option in the ToolKit has full information on what it is and how to use it.
--------------------------------------------------------------
3. FLASHING A ROM, RADIO OR KERNEL VIA CWM RECOVERY
a. Download your chosen Rom, Radio or Kernel from the Development Forum, then make sure your phone is booted up as normal and connect your usb cable so it goes into MTP Mode. Copy the .zip file (DO NOT UNZIP IT FIRST) to the 'Internal Storage' part on your phone. Do not copy it to a Sub Directory as it will be harder to find when flashing it.
b. Enter CWM Recovery (shut down the phone then hold down the 'HOME' + 'VOLUME UP' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 5 seconds).
c. Select 'Install zip from sdcard' and select 'choose zip from sdcard' if the file is on Internal Memory.
d. Scroll to your zip file and select. Then select 'Yes' in the list to start flashing.
e. When flashing is finished press the BACK Button to go back until you get to the Main Menu and then select 'reboot system now' to reboot your phone into Android.
--------------------------------------------------------------
4. FLASHING A ROM, RADIO OR KERNEL VIA DOWNLOAD MODE USING ODIN
Odin can be used to flash image files or parts of your phone. You can flash something as simple as a boot image or a complete system. Everything is packed in a tar or tar.md5 file on your PC and flashed via Odin which is a Windows OS program.
a. Make sure you have your tar file stored on your PC.
b. Reboot your phone to Download Mode [shut down your phone, then hold down the Home + Volume DOWN Buttons and press the Power Button for about 2 seconds until a Warning screen appears. Press Volume UP to continue to Download Mode.
c. Connect your phone via usb and the first box at the top under ID:COM should turn blue and have some text in it. If you are using Download Mode on your phone for the first time then you will notice drivers being installed to use it.
d. The site or page you downloaded the file from will usually give you instructions to set Odin but if not you want to load boot/recovery/system files to the PDA location and have 'Auto Reboot' and 'F.Reset Time' ticked and nothing else.
e. Click on 'Start' to start the flash. You can see what is happening in the text box in the lower left.
--------------------------------------------------------------
USEFUL INFORMATION
How to get into Recovery Mode
1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Shut down the phone.
3. Hold down the 'HOME' + 'VOLUME UP' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 5 seconds to enter Recovery Mode.
How to get into Download Mode (For Odin)
1. Unplug the USB cable.

**FAQ**
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flashing any custom firmware (boot, recovery) will add to the flash counter but im sure Chainfire will update his Triangle Away app to include the US variants.

Just to be certain, I can unroot with this? How? We don't have a stock recovery since there is no stock firmware avail. Can you please clarify? Thanx bud.
GREAT work and thank you for getting this into an easy toolkit form, as many people will be helped out by this!! I was already rooted, as some others were too, but you created a tool that needs a BIG :good:

Well I keep asking for someone with adb root access to do an adb shell mount and send me the mount points so I can verify the partitions but noone is getting back to me.
If you or anyone else can send me the mount points then please do so asap. The unroot zip file will remove the su and superuser files along with busybox and cwm manager (if present) but it needs the correct system partition value to mount the system and run the script.
Mark.
Is TWRP supported on the TMo Note II?

I will, I just need a stock recovery.img ! If you have it, please pass it to me (this goes for all US variants, btw).
I might get it to work as well if somebody can get me the stock kernel. Root first, then from a root shell:
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 of=/data/local/tmp/kernel.img bs=4096
then from normal cmd:
Code:
adb pull /data/local/tmp/kernel.img
And post the kernel.img - should be 8mb
I will also need: Settings -> About device -> Build number

Oh ok. I would, but I haven't rooted mine yet. Still deciding if I want to keep my grey one or exchange it for the white lolol. Hopefully, someone who is already rooted will be kind enough to do it for you.
Thanks for your effort and time.

I am getting issues with both TWRP and CWM. With TWRP, the data partition is unable to mount, making a full wipe a no go. With CWM, data partition can mount...but the external sd can't. Anyone else having these issues, or is it something on my end?

Reset Fuel Gauge - Function to rectify weird battery readings, code taken from Dori's kernel and turned into an app.
Tweaker - Allows you to toggle the following options on your phone if the installed Apps support it:
Camera Silent Menu Item
Disable auto convert SMS to MMS
Change the maximum number of contacts that can be joined to another contact
TogMods - Auto enables any Toggle Modifications you have made on reboot instead of having to make a change to enable them.
AccuWeather Widget - Flashable Zip for either Normal (with Background) or Transparent
LS Fix - Repairs Issue on some LS8 ROMs where the Lockscreen does not come up and a long press of the power button restarts the phone.
Stock Messaging no Convert and Sent Time - Stock Messaging app with the Convert to MMS function disabled and displayed times reflect the sent time not received time.
AOSP Themed Messaging no Convert and Sent Time - AOSP Themed Messaging app with the Convert to MMS function disabled and displayed times reflect the sent time not received time.
SilentCam - Camera app with Silent Option
CPU Idle - Allows user to specify the Scheduler used for CPU Idle for screen on and off as long as the Kernel supports it.
Crash Logger - Captures LastKmsg file automatically after an unexpected reboot. File is saved to SD and copied to Clipboard. Kernel must not have disabled Android Logging.

Auto Wifi - Automatically enables WiFi on Boot for ROMs or Kernels that deactivate WiFi on startup and renenables WiFi if it is enabled by the user and then immediately deactivated by the Kernel or Rom.
Cache Cleaner - Runs the Cache Clean feature from Dorimanx kernel as a stand alone application. Just run and that's it. It will show the Start Free Ram, End Free Ram and then close itself and remove from memory.
Rom Select - App for Dual Boot users to allow them to change Roms without waiting for STweaks to load first. Tested with Dorimanx, should work with Siyah as well.
The following Apps may no longer be required as they should be fixed.
Dori CamFix - Fixes problems with some CM and AOKP ROMS where the camera force closes when using Dorimanx Kernel.
Fake Notify - Fixes issue for users using AllianceROM where the Notification bar does not show up on boot.
Fake Notify Plus - Fixes issue for users using AllianceROM where the Notification bar does not show up on boot and also sometimes disappears during normal use at Random.
Crackle Stop - Automates TRB's method of fixing the problem of a crackling sound being produced along with notifications. Once installed run and you will need to grant SU access. You will then be presented with a Menu for your Normal 'Idle' mode, this should be the same as the awake idle mode set in STweaks, next you will be asked for an Alt Idle mode, this can be anything, just not the same as your normal mode.
Once set you will need to reboot for the fix to activate.
Once rebooted the app does what it needs to do over a 20 second period (not 20 seconds after the phone has booted as the app will probably be the last thing loaded - so to be safe I'd give it 2 or 3 minutes). You then need to let your phone get into Deep Sleep so leave it for a bit and then after that all should be OK.
Note this is not a one off fix, this process will run on each boot but you do not need to rerun the App unless you want to change the Normal Idle mode.
Guides
My Guides - These are useful Guides I have made to help with various ROM and Kernel Issues.
Swype LSx Fix - Problem where the Custom Dictionary stops working and saving new words when using Swype on LSx ROMS.

Alliance Rom FAQ
How do I install 7.02?
You need to uninstall the Rom Customiser that comes with the Rom then install the new one from play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ficeto.alliancemanager) once installed go into Rom Customiser and then OTA and select the updates.
OTA does not mean Samsung or System OTA.
How do I install 7.3? I can't find it in OTA.
7.3 is a full Rom and not an update. As such you need to download the full Rom zip from the OP on the Alliance Thread. Once downloaded flash it through Rom Customiser.
How do I flash the Stock Theme for 7.3?
During installation uncheck the box next to "Alliance Theme".
What can be installed through Rom Customiser?
Anything can be flashed through Rom Customiser as long as it is a Flashable zip, an Odin Tar file or an OTA download.
I have Downloaded a mod or update from OTA which I cannot flash through recovery. What am I doing wrong?
You need to flash these files through Rom Customiser which will then automate recovery. You cannot flash these independently.
What is the default blue colour used in the Rom?
Uncheck the Alpha box Colour Hex code #33b5e5
How can I get the Dandelion Lock Screen Wallpaper back?
Download it from here.

Changing the DPI
Change the Entire System DPI setting.
1. Open Root Explorer
2. Navigate to /System folder
3. Open the build.prop file
4. Scroll down to the 'Additional_build_properties' you are looking for the line
"ro.sf.lcd_density = 240"
The default value for the LCD density is 240, the lower the number the more on
the screen. 200 is a good value to start with.
Save the change.
5. Reboot phone for the change to become effective.

MTU 1300 (tun0) - App to set the MTU value to 1300 for a VPN connection using tun0.

Since I requested this tweak, I would give a simple explanation on what it does and how to use it.
When your connecting to a ipsec vpn using wifi and having trouble browsing to your internal websites eventhough your connected to it. You can ping your internal network but the trouble is no browsing. The solutions are:
1. Tell your System Administrator to change the ip tcp adjust-mss to a lower value, in my case I used 1000 using 1841 cisco router. This prevents the packet from fragmentation. Packets when fragmented were dropped thus resulting to no browsing. If the Sys Ad refuses to do so because this may cause some issues to Windows users (browsing may slow a little bit), your best solution is to install this tweak.
2. This MTU mod sets the MTU value of your payload to 1300 via tunnel interface of your android device this avoiding packet fragmentation resulting to packet being allowed to pass through the tunnel interface going to ipsec vpn router.
How to use it:
1. Download the vpnc widget from playstore. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.mjm4456.vpncwidget&hl=en
Configure your credentials. Then connect.
2. Once the vpnc widget has been connected open this app. Then you should have browsed your internal network.
Note: This tweak is needed only for wifi connections. If your using carrier data, then this is not needed anymore.
Please give thanks to the creator of this app.
I just gave him the code and he did all the stuff in making this app looks nice and easy to use.
Big credit to OP, trevfee and thanks to my neatrom family (Many40, Mr.Greg, ESD and others who helped me finding the code)

Glad it's working for you and thaks for the feedback and explanation for others.
As for Play Store I have yet to purchase a dev account to allow me to upload as I really only make things for people who know how to install from anywhere. Please feel free to trek people to download from this page, I won't be removing the app.

IMEI Recovery
IMPORTANT
FOR THIS PROCESS TO WORK YOU MUST HAVE A GOOD COPY OF YOUR /efs DIRECTORY TAKEN PRIOR TO THE PROBLEM HAPPENING. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECOVER.
DISCLAIMER - THIS IS AN AMALGAMATION OF IDEAS, PROCESSES AND GUIDES FOUND ONLINE ALONG WITH MY OWN MODIFICATIONS AND PROCESSES THAT I HAD TO MAKE TO GET THE PROCESS TO WORK FOR ME.
ALTHOUGH I HAVE PERFORMED THIS PROCESS IN FULL AND IT HAS WORKED FOR ME I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR DATA LOSS THAT ARISES FROM FOLLOWING THIS GUIDE. BY USING THIS GUIDE YOU ARE ACCEPTING ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL ACTIONS AND THEIR RESULTS.
IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING THAT PERFORMING THIS PROCESS WILL INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY BUT IF YOU ARE ALREADY ROOTED AND RUNNING CUSTOM SOFTWARE THEN YOU HAVE ALREADY INVALIDATED YOUR WARRANTY ANYWAY.
This is a common problem that usually occurs when a problem is encountered flashing a file from Recovery. Please take the precautions listed below, it will save you a lot of trouble should you ever suffer from this problem.
Backup Process
There are 3 ways that I use to back up the /efs directory.
These are:
1 - Manually copy /efs to your SD Card and make another copy somewhere safe (Computer, Dropbox, etc).
2 - Use HC-kTool to make a backup image of your /efs directory.
3 - Use Galaxy S Unlock AND GSII Repair to make backups of your original /efs directory (These are both the same but by doing both you have two copies of /efs available should you need it).
All Apps available from the Google Play Store or can be downloaded in the AppPack from here
At the end of this process you will have 4 copies of your /efs directory on your SD Card as well as any dulicates you created externally in step 1. This might seem like overkill but trust me taking 5 minutes creating these will save you hours and possibly quite a bit of money in repair costs in the long run should you ever need to recover!
Now you have your backups lets hope that you never need them, but should you then...

Original Post
Symptoms
You may have one, some or all of the following:
No Signal
Emergency Call Only
No Network
IMEI 004999010640000
IMEI 000000000000000
IMEI
(To check your IMEI number either enter *#06# dial into the dialer or check in Settings, Phone Information)
Prerequisites
Rooted Phone
Try the following processes in order until the problem is resolved.
Method 1:
Open HC-kTool and choose "Restore efs from backup (DANGEROUS!)" then choose "Restore IMG". Once completed you will be prompted to reboot. Perform Reboot and if all has gone well you will have a working phone again.
Method 2:
Open Galaxy S Unlock app and select "Restore saved EFS Folder". This will come up with a response saying "Done". Reboot and see if your phone is working again.
Method 3:
Open GSII_Repair and perform Options 2 and 3. Your phone will reboot. Once it has rebooted see if your phone is working.
Method 4:
Open GSII_Repair and select "Restore saved EFS Folder". This will come up with a response saying "Done". Reboot and see if your phone is working again.
Method 5:
This is the last chance (and the one that after tweaking to what you see below worked for me).
You will Need the following:
Stock GB ROM
Insecure Kernel
ODIN
Quick Root
All of these can be downloaded in the IMEIFix.zip which can be downloaded from here.
Android SDK and ADB instaled on your Computer or a Terminal App on your Phone (Personally I prefer ADB from Computer but you choose whichever you are most comfortable with).
We are going to restore your phone to as close to original stock a possible. No data wil be removed from your SD Card(s) but all installed apps, customisations, ROMs and Kernels will be removed. Please backup everyting you need before runnng this process.
If you are able to make a Nandroid Backup of your Rom you will be able to recover this at the end of the process.
Open ODIN
In Options select "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time".
Select the following files from the "OriginalRom" folder on your computer:
Bootloader -> KERNEL_I9100XEKDB_CL161513_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
PDA -> CODE_I9100XEKDB_CL161513_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Phone -> MODEM_I9100XXKDH_REV_02_CL995882.tar.md5
Reboot your phone into Download Mode (Hold down Home, Volume Down and Power when turnng on).
When in Download Mode connect to Computer via USB.
You will get a Ready message in one of the top boxes in ODIN. When you have this press the Start button.
After a while your phone will reboot and load up into it's Stock setup.
Configure the settings and then Power down the Phone.
Once Powered down go into Download Mode again (same process as above).
In ODIN press Reset.
Set the same options as before.
This time only set the Bootloader box. Select the file from the "InsecureKernel" folder on your computer - NOTE Insecure means that it is able to be rooted, not that there is a security issue with using it. We will be replacing this later anyway.
Check you have the Ready in the top box in ODIN and press Start.
Once finished your phone will reboot to stock again. IMPORTANT - Disconnect the USB cable before proceeding.
Go to Settings, Applications, Developer Options.
Turn ON "USB Debugging".
Connect USB cable to Computer and Phone.
Open "Samsung Quick Root"
Select "Reboot Device When Finished"
Press "Root Device"
Some text will scroll on the screen and then phone will reboot.
This will have installed SuperUser, Busybox and Rooted your phone.
Install a Root capable Explorer app, I used Es File Explorer, either download from the Play Store or you can install if from the Apps folder of IMEIFix downloaded above.
Open a Command Prompt on your Computer
Enter the following commands:
adb shell
su
busybox umount -l /efs
exit
exit
Using your chosen exporer delete the efs folder from the root of your phone.
Reset the phone, after that open your explorer again and browse to the Root, the efs folder should have recreated and will contain files. These are new and are system generated.
Go to the efs folder using your chosen explorer, and delete "nv_data.bin" and "nv_data.bin.md5".
Go to the working back up of your efs folder on your SD Card, copy the "imei" folder to the efs folder at the root of your phone, then again go to the backed up efs folder on your SD Card and copy the "nv_data.bin" file to your efs folder at the root of your phone using your explorer. Once you have copied this file, please rename the new file to "nv_data.bin.bak".
Make another copy of the "nv_data.bin" file in the backed up efs folder on your SD Card and paste this into the efs folder at the root of your phone again.
On your Computer open a command prompt and enter the following commands:
adb shell
su
chown 1001:radio /efs/nv_data.bin
Reset your phone.
You should now have your Original IMEI, check this by dialing *#06# call into the dialer. If you have the correct IMEI then you are done. You can either reinstall your usual ROM, Apps, Kernel etc manually or restore an existing backup.
If you need to install a Recovery with CWM (to restore backups or install new ROMs and Kernels then please follow these steps:
Install Mobile Odin from ChainFire from the Play Store (or if you are an XDA user you can download from here)
If you have used the XDA version you will also need the eu.chainfire.mobileodin.flashkernel.i9100.v2-1 apk file, this is in the IMEIFix download above in the Apps folder.
Copy the Kernel-V7.tar file from the CWMKernel folder in IMEIFix to your SD Card.
Open Mobile Odin and from there open the Kernel-V7.tar file. This will flash Dorimanx 7.45. If you now boot into recovery you can flash what you need to in the usual way.
By following the process above you will likely find that the Triangle Alert is now on your screen when booting yor phone indicating that your bootloader has been modified. Although this makes no functional difference to your phone you can remove this alert by installing TriangleAway from the Play Store (or if you are an XDA user you can download from here. This will reset the flash counters in your phone and remove the warning.
If you still have the wrong or no IMEI then you will need to seek further help.
There is no obligation but if this guide has just saved your phone and you feel you would like to show your appreciation there is a "Donate" button on the left, please feel free to use it.
YouTube fix
The problem is actually with Xlory's Inverted Play Store so far a fix had not been released by Xlory so we have to use the following workaround based on suggestion from Nos_20 and modifications from Andreas75k.
Fully uninstall YouTube, firstly from the Play Store or Settings, Applications and then from Rom Customiser (Manage System Apps).
In Rom Customiser go to OTA then select and flash Stock Play Store.
Goto Settings, Applications and wipe cache, data and any updates for Google Play Services and Google Play Store.
Reboot to recovery.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache.
Reboot.
Once rebooted reinstall YouTube in Rom Customiser and update through the Play Store or just install directly from the Play Store but obviously it wont be a system app.
That's it, all should now work.
Key here is: don't use any modified versions of Google Play Services, Google Play Store or YouTube, only STOCK.

Here it is. Full T-mobile With root, wifi calling, bluetooth and volte all working - since this is t-mobile based all bands should work as well
Updated to use API4 System Image and API4 Modem - MyMods has also been updated for the API4 System - Whatever you do DO NOT FLASH the API4 BL file. you will be Stuck on the new firmware without root if you do this as you cannot go back
To Avoid Repeat Questons. READ! READ IT AGAIN! and then READ it once more! if you do not Understand any part of this. Do Not Continue!!!
This Guide assumes you have some basic knowledge and is for advanced users!!!!!!!!
This Guide also Assumes you have an sdcard inserted in your phone(however some of you may not and this will not work.)
i will post an update to this guide when we have a method working for those of you with no extsdcard
Read this entire post before doing anything to avoid issues and FOLLOW Directions - if you don't things will not work right.
Note! if at anytime during the following steps you see the samsung boot animation before step 11. start over cause you screwed up!
Step 1. download the following files
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24651430732237653 bbx.rar
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457084094631641263 API4 system.rar
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24686680535467223 T-mobile APGC Bootloader
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862665245 T-mobile API4 Modem
Step 2. extract system.rar and bbx.rar and then copy system.img and bbx to your extsdcard(the sdcard you inserted into your phone)
Step 3. odin sprint userdebug firmware available here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-note-7/how-to/root-super-leaky-bros-sprint-galaxy-t3447202
Step 4. Directly after odin is done with the sprint file you will immidiatly be presented with an update screen
Step 4a when this process of erasing your phone is finished it will reboot(this is the point you want to do the next step)
Step 4b. press and hold power, home and vol up to enter recovery
Step 4c If you see the samsung boot animation. you did NOT do this right and i would suggest you start over
Step 5. open a command prompt in your adb folder and do the following steps 1 at a time(these are case sensative)
Step 5a. adb shell
Step 5b. su
Step 5c. setenforce 0
Step 5d. export PATH=$PATH:/sbin
Step 5e. mount -o remount,rw /
Step 5f. on your phone, go to apply update from sdcard(this will mount your extsdcard as /sdcard and you should see the system.img file and the bbx file) do not select anything, go back to adb and continue(it is not a big deal if those files don't show. we just needed the extsdcard mounted as sdcard - the files exist, just continue to the next step)
Step 5g. cp /sdcard/bbx /sbin/bbx
Step 5h. chmod 777 /sbin/bbx
Step 5i. cd /sbin
Step 5j. ./bbx --install /sbin
Step 5k. umount -l /system
Step 5l. /sbin/dd if=/sdcard/system.img of=/dev/block/platform/soc/624000.ufshc/by-name/system
Note. you will see a blinking cursor. just be patient
Step 7. when it is done you will see something similar to this
11161600+0 records in
11161600+0 records out
5714739200 bytes (5.3GB) copied, 268.668086 seconds, 20.3MB/s
Step 8. if all went well you should be at your prompt and not in adb anymore
Step 9. from your command prompt simply type
Step 9a. adb reboot bootloader
Note! - if you still have odin open and the sprint file in the ap box make sure you uncheck it so it doesn't reodin the sprint firmware
Step 10. open odin and click the bl button and select this file - BL_N930TUVU1APGC_CL8706614_QB10376889_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
Step 10b. now click the cp button and select this file - CP_N930TUVU2API4_CL9115549_QB10937257_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
Step 10c. now click start. it will reboot when done let it fully boot this time.
Step 11. once booted and you have setup your phone, we need to add the root files or supersu as most of you know it
Note! pertaining to Step 12. these instructions were taken Explicitly from @freeza thread which is listed in step 3
Step 12. Now we need to add supersu and the needed files for it to work
Step 12a. download this file - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24651430732236679
Step 12b. Extract the sun7 file to your adb folder making sure the files are in a folder called sun7(mine looks like this - c:/adb/sun7 and contains 4 files)
Step 12c. Open a command prompt where your ADB executable and sun7 folder are.
Step 12d. adb shell
Step 12e. su - Note! if your adb prompot changes from a $ to #(you are good and have root access)
Step 12f. type exit twice to get back to the command prompt. - Your Phone should be fully booted when you do this
Step 12g. adb push sun7 /data/local/tmp/su
Step 12h. adb shell chmod 0777 /data/local/tmp/su/*
Step 12i. adb shell
Step 12j. cd data/local/tmp/su
Step 12k. su
Step 12l. ./root.sh - Note. this command begins with a . do not leave it out
Step 12m. Your Phone will now reboot
Step 13. when booted back up go to playstore and install busybox on rails or a similar app and install busybox to /system/xbin(if your given an option of where to install it)
Step 14. Thats Pretty Much it. install any additions i have included if you like. most of all enjoy it
Additional Notes!
If for any reason you do a factory reset. you will break root and need to redo this method to get it back
If you use shealth do not update it or allow playstore or galaxy appstore to auto update it or it will break it
If you plan on running the debloat/deknox file you will need to disable auto updates in google playstore as soon as you finish the setup wizard or you will be uninstalling the apps that managed to update
Note! Keep in mind that i remove alot of things(ie. allshare, knox, gear manager, game manager, tmo apps, google apps, facebook and alot of other things) if you need any of what i remove, you can simply open the zip and go to META-INF/com/google/android and open the following file "updater-script" in notepad++(do not open it with windows notepad as it will screw up the formatting on the entrys) you will see a whole bunch of lines that begin with delete_recursive, remove the lines with names of the apps you do not want removed. most of this stuff is self explanatory by it's name as to what it is and should be very easy to figure out. when done editing the file, save it. and flash the updated zip in flashfire. it's as simple as that.
Additional Files for those that want them(these are all flashed via flashfire)

Ok here it is: Xposed still works with this new root method, Only one catch, you have to install this before you install any of @OvrDriVE Mods.
If you plan on using Xposed then do not install @OvrDriVE my modifications zip as this will crash your systemui.apk.
As with any custom rom's, root, add-on's, you assume all risks with modding your phone. You have been warned.
Make sure you read all of my directions below, before you start posting errors with the install. Worst case you just have to start over with @OvrDriVE s installation.
Here is the way you can install xposed on your phone after you have root. I in no way have made any files or apks, I am just posting ways you get this loaded on your phone.
Please Thank the devolopers and others that have made all these files and apks possible..
The way to install Xposed framework via FlashFire:
1. Download FlashFire, You can get it from the app store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.flash&hl=en
2. Download the Xposed Installer Apk: Xposed installer Apk
3. Download the Xposed Framework zip.<<< this is the file that you will be flashing via FlashFire: Xposed Framework.zip
4. Once you have all the files downloaded onto you computer/phone: you are ready to start. If you have'nt all ready copied all the files to your phone storage, do so now. If you did then you can move on to the #5.
5. Open FlashFire on your phone. Once it is loaded and open, click on circle with + button on the bottom right of the screen.
Then Click on Flash ZIP or OTA button.
Now select the xposed framework zip that you downloaded from #3.
Next you click the check mark on the top right of
the screen( do not change any of boxes on the left of the screen.<<< You Have Been Warned!!!!! .
Next scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the left button (flash button w the lighting bolt)
Sit back and watch FlashFire do its magic..
6. After #5 completes, you can now install the xposed installer apk from #2. Once installed open and check framework in the app and you should have this : Xposed framework version 86.1 (custom build by wanam / 2016709 is active.
7. Now go to Download in the xposed installer and download: XTouchWiz 1.1.2 or Wanam Xposed 1.3.0 Made for Samsung Android 5 and 6 Roms by Wanam. You can also download Firefds kit 1.0.5.1 by firefds <<<<< this is just a modified version of XTouchWiz with more stuff added to it.. This works as well on samsung note 7 root method.
8. Once you downloaded it, installed it, then go into the Xposed installer app- modules- you select the the app in #7 by placing a checkmark in the box on the right to activiate the modules.
9. Reboot your phone to activate the module.
10. Enjoy your efforts and customizing your phone:
If you some reason you want to uninstall xposed : flash this:xposed-uninstaller-20160211.zip
Awesome.....finally[emoji106]
Video tutorial could be found in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=68831392..... make sure to download correct modified system.rar for your specific carrier.

Ah okay thanks! and do you know if the Bluetooth issues still occur?
I am going to watxh this topic. I know alot of work is going on however i want to see how stable it is before i do anything. I can wait no problem. i know we have been hitting roadblocks and until we have an official root method I am perfectly fine without for now... To all the Devs great job now we wait and see if penetration testing and users can do this method of root. Thank you all for your time and hard work!

you can connect but once disconnected you have to unpair the device and repair it for it to work.
