Does TWRP also work for flashing ColorOS?

Don't flash COS 1.2.x. I think it works for COS above 2.0.4....

Resizeable windows in Android Nougat

I have been trying Nougat builds pretty much since the first test builds came out. Since the start, I noticed that the resizeable window function is not a available as it is for say the Nexus 6P. Is there a reason why the multiwindow view mode isn't adjustable on the OP3?

You mean the feature to e.g. have 2 Apps showing on the same screen? Multi-Window was integrated in Android 7.0:

It's working on AOKP 7.1 for me. I can resize the multi windows.

I was on stock OOS3.2.7. And I did a clean flash to AOKP.
Also I've flashed the pixel experience zip from here.

Not really sure the ability to resize is due to this but give it a try.

That's strange, I'll try reflashing 3.2.7, thanks!

I've tried flashing to full stock 3.2.7 and flashing just the firmware and nothing works. I legitimately don't understand why I can't get it to work.

its not very hard job its very easy need to deodex rom and then try to port

A small request .. Since you already deodexed the stock rom, could you please provide the dialer and all necessary support package from stock rom ? I really miss the feature of being able to set a sim as default for each contact . In all the custom roms, we only have the option to set one sim as default for all calls.

In OP, says isn't working with new moto devices, thats why i'm asking for they latest stock gallery. That one which came in Nougat images for our Moto G4

Not working on Lineage 14.1 OMS
I am using Lineage 14.1 OMS version from silesh on my Moto g4 plus xt1643and sadly this is not working for me. Everytime I open the camera, it is crashing. Since it is working for everybody, I may be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what wrong I am doing. I had stock Nougat latest firmware, installed TWRP and clean flashed the rom. Any help is much appreciated.

i can confirm that it is not working in LOS @Silesh.Nair 1/23 build app is keep on crashing..

how to get substratum working?

I'm on Android pie, on du rom, but I'm having trouble getting substratum to work? Any help is appreciated

Are you rooted? As far as I know Substratum doesn't work without root on Pie. If you're rooted, this method works for me:
1. Build and install overlays
2. Reboot
3. Go back to Substratum and enable the overlays

What version of Substratum/Magisk are you using? As far as I know there's no required version. Does the theme you're trying to use support Pie?

Does your theme support Pie? The theme I'm using requires you to choose which version of Android you're running before you can build overlays, which makes me suspect there's something special about Pie that your theme needs to support in order to work correctly.
As a troubleshooting step I suggest downloading a theme that explicitly states Pie is supported in its description and trying that.

Yea I made sure it said pie, I'm not new at this whole substratum thing, I've been theming since cm theme engine days lol it's just I went almost a whole year without a rooted phone and now that I have one I'm trying to catch up.. What ROM u using?

Figured it out my dude, I was running this kantjer build of magisk..I tried the original one in the XDA forum and boom, it worked.. Thank u for replying tho

sir, i clean flashed the rom, but there is no home launcher!!
it just shows "phone is starting...", and when i checked, there was no home launcher..
I'm able to launch settings, and all my apps have been restored via migrate....
but the main screen is just stuck at phone is starting, so i'm unable to do anything...
Edit:- I luckily got some Google play notification, and was able to open playstore from there,and install a launcher:victory:
