Hello everyone,
I got an OTA update today and it said I needed to reboot my phone, which is an LG Optimus G E975.
When I did all I got was an error saying ''Secure booting Error!'' and under that ''Cause : boot certification verify''
What do I do now? I can't get in my phone at all and I have no knowledge on how to fix my phone and I really need it!
I would like to add that my phone was rooted.
If you guys could help me with this problem that would be amazing!
Please send your answers to [email protected]
Also please keep in mind that im not good with cellphones, in other words.. I don't know how to flash something so if you could just give me a step by step solution that would be amazing.
Thx a lot in advance!
ok guys i need a help i somehow bricked my phone when i turn it on i see the usb icon . I can not enter fast-boot or recovery . when i do connect it to the computer i see the phone in devices and the name MOORFIELD but i cant find any drivers or any way to recovery phone. please help . oh and please guys keep your silly comments to yourself i see a lot of people commenting on the forum but no answers to peoples questions im not trying to be rude its that when someone says read the forum i don't have time to read 4 0 pages of comments that have nothing to do with recovery of the phone .

yes
yes it is and two pages of comments and the last guy with 1000 post reply back ok its "user error" what an a hole. why don't you point something else out like how to fix it or point the person in the right direction . Thats why i stopped coming to this forum alot of the posts are just talking about hard ware comparing phones and when issues happen they start talking how stupid people are. as for my flashing of my phone i flashed it correctly i flashed it many times before and rooted it and i used the same files from the first time i did it with no issues . for some reason this time it bricked. i have owned the nexus 9250 s3 s4 note 2 ,3 , Sony z ultra. all phones rooted and running custom roms and this is the first phone i have bricked. as you can see i don't have to many posts because i don't really make a mistake when i am rooting and flashing files . i dont know what happen .

If you read the first page he was getting help. If your issue is the same then the initial steps, at least, are in that thread. Also there was another user helping him. It may be worthwhile contacting that person.

Because 95% of the time something goes wrong, it's user error. This holds true in so many industries. Past successes don't mean you won't make a mistake in the future, it's human nature.
You can try the ASUS flashing tool for Windows and *hope* it can detect your phone and connect. It will wipe everything, including internal storage.
Next time exercise extreme caution when flashing over fastboot.
But honestly it is better if people like you stop coming to the forums and making mistakes and blaming others. It's no one's responsibility but your own to ensure the integrity of your device. Sorry if you don't want to hear that.
Have you guys tryed?

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
May still be too soon for a working rooting procedure (since the upgrade came out around May - unless I am thinking of a different FonePad), not sure if you can downgrade either.
At any rate, I am connecting this thread to the forum your device experts can be found:
> Asus Fonepad 7 > Fonepad 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Please note, to respond to replies, you will need to register for an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hi everyone.
I am new here and i have searched the whole net for answers and you are my last hope.
I have a Zenfone selfie ZD551KL (Z00UDB), bought from china in april 2016. When i got it it had firmware version CN_1.13.40.661.20151103.
But recently someone told me i could update it to CN_1.15.40.1548, so we did :crying: manually, and wow i regret that. Everything is working fine except for Google play and everything that depends on google services. I can see the old firmware in the boot menu. I tried to downgrade to previous version but didnt work.
My question is of course if I can fix this somehow or can i throw my beloved phone away ?
I have searched for days now to find a tutorial for Z00UDB but cant find any.
Bootload unlocked and phone rooted.
Please please please help me.
Thanks in advance // Nova
Dear Lady, I think the collective XDA community is gender-neutral. You may like to correct your post based on this. If you are stuck, the community WILL pitch in to help. I'm sorry, I have a ZE551ML and am unable to help.
