Just got my swr50, simple question but how do you set the weather to show temperature in Celsius?
It's running 6.0.1 and my phone language is set to English UK already.
Google weather on my phone shows in celcius so why doesn't the watch?

Hi,
Try to delete all the times from the 'big clock'. I did that and after I added my hometown, the weather in calendar changed to the same city.
i am running rooted stock froyo.
i suspect the weather displayed is not same as the current location. the current location is correct but i suspect the weather shown is dependent on the time and country u chosen.
i also tried adding more countries into the overall weather application but i just cannot change the default. My current system time is set to GMT +8 (kuala lumpur) as it doesnt have singapore. On the home screen, my location is correctly shown as singapore however the weather displayed is kuala lumpur's. How do i know? i have both singapore and KL weather updated and the one correctly reflected is KL's not singapore's.....
anyway to solve this?
Have you tried readding the widget, this should give you the option to use the current location.

Is it possible to change the provider on the stock weather widget on the G4 from Accuweather to another one?
Accuweather gives a totally incorrect forecast 90% of the time in my case.
It's been saying all morning heavy cloud and to wrap up and its been sunny, blue skies and 22 deg for the last 2 hours.
Cheers
Have you tried changing the update interval in settings to 1 hour instead of the default 3?
Yes that was the 1st thing I did, I like the widget itself I just don't like AccuWeather as the provider but I can't see a setting how to swap it

How could this be possible, without having any option to select weather service providers? Stock weather app is very basic and is tied to Accuweather, as their services are default on all Samsung and LG devices, because it's official weather provider on these devices.
Whilst I am in agreement with OP, unfortunately Accuweather is the only service provider LG use as stock, it's all built into the smart notice etc. There's no way of changing it from the front end, and changing it back end in the code would be just messy. I tend to use Google Now for weather as it seems to be more accurate.
That's unfortunate. Thanks anyway. I'll just change to another weather/time widget that I can choose, and that is at least somewhat accurate.

There are some weather applications available on Google Play store, that allow you to switch between weather providers such Weather Timeline, and a few more. I've tested a few applications, and these weather providers are all you get to choose from: yahoo.com, yr.no, forecast.io, weather underground, openweathermap, world weather online. Most of these apps, gives you between two or three providers choice, but Weather Timline has max. no of providers. You can check them out.
When I use the stock weather app, it always shows the weather in fahrenheit and wind speed in mph instead of celsius and kmh.
I've changed the phone language to English (UK) and also tried doing the same in Google Now, although I have that disabled usually.
The weather works fine with other apps and in watch faces, where it reports it in celsius.
I guess i could install another weather app, but it seems silly when the stock one should be able to do the job, if only it showed celsius.
I think the "stock weather app" you're talking about must be what Google displays when you ask what the weather is. I suggest you check your Google settings to be sure you have the correct location settings enabled.
Strange, it seems to have fixed itself! The only thing i did was change the phone language to English (UK) first with no results. Then back to my native language and another reboot. Only noticed it when I booted up my phone this morning. The setting must have gotten stuck somehow. Hopefully this can help others

I'm having the opposite issue. I want F and it's showing C :'[
[update] I figured it out. Had to go into the app settings on the phone. This is my first smartwatch so right now it's smarter than I am
I want to change it
Hi, if i would changhe the stock "showing weather screen"? I mean, on zeblaze thor pro i must swipe up and it shows the weather but at the present time, no prevision! What a genius i yet know the actual weather outside my house, i would like a prevision for tomorrow at least.
Any advice?
Thank you
On t your phone set the language to English United Kingdom and it will change to Celsius and kilometer
Anyone finding that weather no longer gives the accurate multidate forecast? It's accurate for current but the forecast won't update. I have tried updating, force closing (can't Uninstall as it's a system app). It's 45 degrees but my watch says it's going to be 0 tonight.
Update your weather app on watch through Galaxy App store. Hopefully it should work. Switch a few watch faces after that so your original Watch face get connected to the new version of weather app.
