Can someone post the AOSP MMS.APK that works with Marshmallow? I tried searching but no luck. Running Oxygen OS for now.
Stock aosp MMS app would be Google messenger. Or Hangouts, both available on the play store.

Google messenger replaced the AOSP messaging app. You can still find it on google, but its an old non material version.

Hello, I am a long time android user who just started messing with custom roms. I have a galaxy ace and last week i switched from adrenaline rom to apocalypse rom. I am very happy. with adrenaline i kept having random reboots every few hours, and with apocalypse i haven't had a single one. and i even have more free memory for apps than before.
the only thing that i do not like is that i can't find google talk on the market. can anybody help me with this? i know that apps do not show in every phone or every rom, but i cant see a reason why an app like that wouldn't show in my ace. i had it installed both in the official rom and adrenaline. and now, with apocalypse, i have many other google apps (google+, maps, youtube, gmail, etc), and after 1 week, i haven't found a single app that i was not able to install, except gtalk.
i hope someone can help me.
btw, i would have liked to post this on the apocalypse thread, but it seems that i am too young

But i thought that i installed gtalk from google play some time ago while using adrenaline rom. i may be wrong though.
as for the section, i thought about it. i was not sure where to post it. but since this forum says themes and apps, and my question was about a very particular app, i thought that it would fit better here. anyway, lesson learned

Well, i managed to get gtalk installed from the thread Curius7 linked. I had already installed the rest of google apps from the market, and that is what seemed strange. being able to install maps, google+, gmail, youtube, etc. perfectly, and then not finding gtalk.

i have tried 3 or 4, and so far the best one is Apocalypse. The battery looks great and i am not having any strange issue (like reboots, etc). the only odd thing was the lack of gtalk, which thanks to this thread i have already solved.
also, not so important, apocalypse theme is gorgeous.

Anyone have any luck finding and/or installing the AOSP email client into the OGP? I've noticed LG's client really doesn't play very well with 3rd party keyboards.

Look for gapps for 4.1.2. I think I was able to use slim gapps and that worked.
To get them to work you have to deleted lg email and replace them with the slim gapps.
To replace them I used root browser.
Give me a minute and I will post the link.
Ok. I was about to pull the AOSP email APKs out of CyanogenMod and use reboot recovery to apply them from a zip. Your idea sounds easier though.

Excellent, that went very smoothly. Incidentally, I didn't have to remove the LG apps, as LG uses different names for their APKs.

Just tried installing the latest Google search from Aptoide, however it crashes everytime and keeps on displaying the crash message.
Looks like Google is bringing the new lollipop style to the launcher by updating the Google search app.
Try yourself by installing the Aptoide app and updating the Google search app or getting hold of an apk from somewhere.

If you are rooted then you can copy across the missing libs which are needed as per the guide below from androidpolice however if you are not rooted then you will have to wait until google release a kitkat compatible version.

I have received and installed OTA (about 350mb) and now google play services give me RH-01 error. I have tried to delete cache but don't work, it's not possible delete my account because a message tell me that only the Administrator is able to do it, i have tried to uninstall and reinstall Google play store but don't work. Please could somebody help me?
After updating, he made the same mistake. I deleted Google Play and Google Services. I deleted other Google related programs (google music, google +, gmail ...). Then I downloaded "http://opengapps.org/" Arm64, 6.0 nano gappsi from here. And I uploaded it with TWRP. Google Play is running smoothly right now. My problem is that when I open programs, I get an ad. How do we turn this off ?.

Turn off media recommend in launcher settings
After updating I realized that LeEco didn't update the new camera UI with pro features for Pro3! They have updated the camera on all other models with the 28s version; But when it comes to their latest flagship, they decide not to update camera!

There is no option for those apps.
But for some apps like phone manager that don't need a network connection, you can block the app from connecting to network in connection manager and it won't show the banners anymore!

"Updated" to 28s Friday night (OTA). Then spent several hours getting Google Serrvices and Play Store playing nice again. (Had do remove and reinstall them) .Had to uninstall an reinstall Google apps like Gmail, Calendar and the Google search. What gave me the most problem was Contacts that would not sync Google contacts. Tried to add the Contacts Sync, but didn't have any success until I installed an old version (5.1) and now everything runs smoothly again and my contacts sync as the should. I just mention this, in case somone else runs into the same problems.
Anybody can upload a screenshot of android phone info (in settings) to see if there is a new baseband?

Also if rooted you can install the Google phone framework to install it from the play store. This will also allow the spam filter to work correctly... Which it doesn't with that link previously posted.

Yeah same, I also replaced the contacts and messages with googles own. I uninstalled samsungs stock phone messages and contacts apps with ADB commands.
