could you make a kernel with twrp for .301 firmware? Or add it to this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-x/development/root-xperia-x-34-0-2-301-modified-t3465586
has anyone tested this? Is it posible to repack this recovery.img with an other kernel?
Any news ??

I'm sorry if this has already been posted or this is some stupid question but..
I want to install doomkernel and dont really know how to do the 2nd step (I dunno where the fastboot.exe files are) and the 6th step ( i dunno where to input the commands)
1. download the boot.img & wifi modules update.zip
2. save the boot.img in the folder with fastboot binaries (fastboot.exe files)
3. save the wifi modules update.zip to sdcard (on phone)
4. power down device
5. start device in fastboot mode
6. use the following command to flash the boot.img
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
7. reboot phone and enter recovery
8. flash the wifi modules update.zip for my kernel
9. reboot phone and enjoy the kernel
Also, i have unlocked the bootloader and everything that is required to run \
cmd

after installing the ROM it gets stuck at the htc logo when i rebooted it. why?
can someone help pls?
your device is just booltloader unlock.. just flash the boot.img from the rom
1. Extract the boot.img from zip rom
2. from your bootloader go to fastboot and plug it to your computer
- make sure you have sdk
3. put the "boot.img" file in your platform-tools, directory is sdk/platform-tools
4. using shift+rightclick open command window and type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" disregard the ( " ) sign.
5. wait and then type "fastboot reboot"
your device should boot normally now... hope it helps "newbie here" :fingers-crossed:

THANKS A MILLION IN ADVANCE
No, you dont have to... Your device will boot normaly even if you turn it off
Just remember to flashboot the boot.img file if you flash a new rom for your device... Glad to help
HoLA!
If you are here then you have probably bricked your redmi 1s
You need not worry about it. :good:
Just follow the steps mentioned below:
1) Download the adb.rar from the attachment.
2)Connect your brick to your computer using the usb and wait for the drivers to get installed.
3)Extract the adb.rar wherever you want.
|---------For flashing stock mi recovery copy the recovery.img from miRecovery folder to minimal adb and fastboot folder
4)---|
|---------For flashing TWRP recovery copy the recovery.img from TWRP folder to minimal adb and fastboot folder
5)Open minimal adb and fastboot folder and click on MAF.
6)A terminal window will open and then type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" (If you have copied twrp) or "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (If you have copied mi stock recovery)
7)The installation will be done and then type reboot-bootloader or just remove the battery and long press volup+power button to boot into recovery.
8) To flash rom and custom kernel(optional) then follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/red...rmance-ram-t3131851/post61500479#post61500479
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------NOTE---------------------------------------------------------------------------
For flashing official MIUI ROM you need official mi recovery and for developer miui and other custom rom you can use twrp.

################################## HIT THANKS :silly: ################################
I can't boot into TWRP.
I have unlocked my device, now I have this problem:
My computer shows me the name of the file as twrp.img.mid5, and when I place it in my phone and in my computer and cmd the folder, it says "no error" or "can't load" or "no file or directory" etc. And if I remove the "mid5" it becomes a legit image file but when I try to boot into TWRP it says "booting.. Failed (dtk something)".
Also, I can only cmd the folder on my pc but not on my storage, there's no such option to do that on my storage.
I'm clueless, what should I do? Thanks.

twrp.img.mid5?
It's seams that you only use the md5 checksum file, not the realy img file.
Use this file:
twrp-3.0.0-0-h815.img
without md5!
Assuming you have a H815 (that would be the case since you unlocked it), download this :
https://dl.twrp.me/h815/twrp-3.0.0-0-h815.img
Rename it to recovery.img
Put it in the folder where there are adb.exe and fastboot.exe
Plug your phone to the PC (with debugging enabled)
now open a cmd in the folder where you put the recovery.img (shift + click droit in the folder)
type the following command :
adb reboot bootloader
Once your phone has rebooted in the bootloader type the following command :
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
And then type this last command to "fix" the installation :
fastboot boot recovery.img
Your phone should reboot into the recovery, and from now you're good to go.
PS : no need to put anything on your phone to flash the recovery, it must be done from the PC

I have managed to do that, thanks. After that, I installed SuperSU with the TWRP, now I'm stuck on the LG logo. What should I do?

Wich version of super su did you use ?
Maybe you used one wich need a custopm kernel.
My advice would be to boot into TWRP and flash imperium kernel (wich contains as well supersu), then you should be able to boot without issues.

Two questions:
1. I don't remember but before or after installing it I pressed "wipe dalvik and cache", might it be that?
2. If I downloaded stock ROM, put it in my sd card, wiped and flashed it through TWRP, would it fix the problem?
1) It might but i doubt it.
2) This is what i have done myself. It always solved my boot problems.
I flash h815.20d.complete.zip and supersu 2.65 (or imperium kernel)
I advise you to try it !
Marc
⚠Warning: This is not official TWRP, use it at your own risk!!!
Data will be erased. Back up if neccessary
This device is kind of weird so to flash twrp you need these things:
1. Prepare materials
Install driver so as to have access to preloader (Just install automatically and no need to do anything in device manager)
This software to access to preloader -> fastboot (fastboot is somehow not available via adb methods) Enter fastboot
This tool for flashing
2. Unlock bootloader (need testpoint, python, git (optional) - you can search on google)
Use this tool - go to this section. Follow guides to unlock bootloader (remember to use testpoint not hardware buttons)
3. Enter fastboot mode
Use latest MTK META Ultility tool
Select Reboot Fastboot Mode in BRom section
Hold volume down button. While holding connect it to your computer
*Now your phone is in fastboot mode4. Flash
Open platform-tools folder in Downloads folder
Shift + Right click then "open command window here"
Input these commands into cmd
fastboot flash boot drag twrp file to cmd
fastboot flash recovery drag twrp file to cmd.
fastboot reboot. Swipe to allow modification in twrp (to make sure that stockboot wont replace twrp). After that reboot to recovery to make it installed on your device permanently.
Now your recovery is ready to flash file you can push stock image file to your root folder using adb command: "adb push. Drag the stock image file. /" (Because Decryption right now doesnt work on my device yet)
Enjoy
*Sounds crazy but it is required to make sure twrp is installed correctly*If successful, when you power on, you will get a red section on top of your device. If you want to recover to stock recovery, flash the recovery.img below.*Also, if you want to make your own twrp, you can try recovery.img below.
Also thanks SebaUbuntu and Mofadal El-Tayeb (مُفَضَّل) for awesome apps
Here is the PBRB version for this device
Hey I'm stuck in the third step.can you please help me?
