So I stared to use my S3 after I borrow it from my grandma I installed CM13 and the battery didn't last more that 2 hours of standby... after that I installed OCT-M but still dying at the same 2 hours...
I need to buy a new battery? Is worth it at this time?
Please help
Have you tried to "recalibrate" the battery? If not, try it out and if it didn't solve the problem may its time to change the battery.
If you want to resurrect your s3 i suggest get the 7000mAh batteries. Anker and Zerolemon best batteries for our s3. The only differences between the two is NFC( Zerolemon. Anker doesn't have so its much cheaper.
CONS:
It will make your phone LITERALLY A BRICK.

Hi I was thinking of getting these 2600mAh batteries http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B007AA1E3K/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1337533622&sr=8-1 the stock baterry is 2500mAh will these work okay?
they might "work" but i doubt they will last as long as the stock battery
also the external charger may not detect when battery is full so dont leave one on there for days, just an hour or two for a boost

Hi guys, so i recently got a GS2 and the abttery life is horrbile for me.
It charges 1% every 3 mins, and drops 10% per hour.
This may or may not be normal but ive decided to buy a extned battery off ebay.
Now, what precautions do i need to take? Is it even safe buying a extended battery? DO i have to buy a new back cover?

Are you charging via usb or electrical outlet? Trying cutting reducing the screen light in display settings. If you use a the internet a lot the you might need an extended battery.
I got one on ebay for about $30 or so and it doesn't add any bulk to the phone. Original samsung 2000mah battery with a case.

You can buy the extended battery 2000mah for $25 now, I found them at my local carrier shop..
I had the same issue as you when I was using a stock rom, battery drained really quick and had to charge twice a day.. After rooting it and flashing a stable ROM i was able to get up to 1 day 6hrs on battery with 4 hrs screen time
Bought the extended battery and the case that came with it is thicker than original making it a bit bulkier.
Hi mate check my thread for more info. on official battery

HI,
My Galaxy Note battery does not seem to last as long as I need it to.
Any changes to the system such as turning of Autosync or WiFi does not make a difference nor do custom roms made for extra juice.
So the only solution to this is to buy an extended battery.
I have done some searching and most extended batteries have some good reviews and more bad. For example, an extended battery I found on Amazon is being advertised as having 5000mAh of juice but in reality when you peel of the sticker it is 2x1500mAh.
So that's why i need some help on choosing the most stable (Not affecting my phone's software) and long lasting extended battery available.
Please Help. Much Appreciated.
Buy two 2700mah anker batteries and swap them when you need, very cheap and effective

I tried the gold 3200mah Slim one and just ordered the anker 2700. The 3200mah was good at the beginning but now about a month later it lasts as long as stock on a typical day. I don't know if my gold one is just a bad one that wore out prematurely or they're all like that. But for $12 its worth it.

How do you charge those two batteries?. Will they need an extra wall charger right? Becouse whats the point having 3 batteries and just one charger ( your phone ).
Im also interested on them, but sadly thereĀ“s no international shipping that I know of.
Hello there.
Im sorry if this thread has been opened. I have searched without luck.
My samsung battery just passed out, so i decided to buy a new one and it just arrived at home.
I'm wondering if I should calibrate it?
What is the protocol for the new batteries in the devices?
It's a EB-L1G6LLA for my Samsung Galaxy S3 d2&att i747 .
Thank you.
battery calibration seems to be a waste of time to me. I just got a 4200 mah battery and its real nice. I use the he out of this phone and I work nights. I get up about 9am and go to work at 3. Never run out of mp3 before midnight ever anymore!
My opinion is if you calibrate your battery (its actually only removing a file from the phone itself) just do it once with a fresh charge and ROM.
Ty.
By the way. Where did you get the 4200?
Got it off of eBay. It was about $20. Don't get anything from "the battery man" and if it claims to be bigger than 2100 and its not a bigger battery its a lie.
I got "Laza" brand. Its really good.
Hi there,
I still love my Nexus 5, but the battery life has always been terrible.
I already changed it once for the genuine 2300mAh battery a few years ago and now it's starting to die too.
So since I wanna get a new battery, I told myself I might as welI get one with higher capacity (like these ones on AliExpress: QCKBST, XINBONG, HSABAT, LOSONCOER) and I wanted to know if someone ever tried non-genuine high capacity replacement batteries.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Those are all fake 2300mAh or less batteries
Only higher capacy battery is described on my thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/accessories/nexus-5x-battery-bl-t19-2700mah-battery-t3739848
or the lg g2 battery, but those batteries are very old, not worth it
try the n5x mod if you can solder and dremel a bit
