Hey y'all, I keep getting error 7 every time I try to install CM13 on my nextbit Robin. I have unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP, etc. I can not get any custom ROM to install on the Robin. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Try to mount system.

Hmmm.. Not sure. I'll have to try it out again, but thanks for letting me know. I'll test to see if I can duplicate and send it along to the Dev.

So I rooted it successfully and have CWM installed. I managed to install another ROM, S3Rx, but couldn't install Cyanogenmod.

That's what happens when I tried, and I tried 2-3 times.
Does anyone know what's wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much! It works now!
Hi dear xda members,
My phone was rooted out of the box when i purchased it via amazon, i went ahead and downloaded FreeGee and installed CWM. everything went smoothly but on the next reboot, the phone booted into recovery and i was happy to see the CWM their, but now, its stuck on recovery. No matter what i do it keeps booting into recovery.
Pushing files via ADB works, i tried to flash cm11 with ZV8 radio, but still it boots into recovery.
Did any of you guys had any experience like this ? is my device bricked ?
Thank you.

I'm not sure, I never tried to GSM unlock my LS980, because I don't know if it'll damage my phone let alone my service with Sprint and the plan I'm with.

I followed all instructions to the tee; however, after I mounted the system and installed the SuperSu zip when I went to reboot it says no OS installed. I tried restoring from nandroid backup, but I get the same message, and my phone won't boot all the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of TWRP are you using? The "No OS installed" message is expected on that initial reboot.

TWRP-Recovery-2.8.6.0-Hima-CPTB.img is the one I am using. After the 4th attempt it finally booted all the way. Should I keep this recovery, or should I install the non-Beta version? I am rooted now and everything working properly.

Keep that one. It is the most up-to-date.
So just a quick question.... During my rooting steps, I never did backup my stock system...I back up everything after I rooted..as there anyway to go back and start over? Or do I have to wait until a RUU comes out?<br/>

No way to start over. RUU or someone else's stock backup is the only option if you ever want to OTA.
Cool! Thanks!!
So...is it worth asking, does anyone with a un-touch stock backup they could upload for sprint???

There's no point in having stock recovery if you're rooted.

Hi,
I just sideloaded 8.1 (coming from 8.0). Things went smoothly and in the recovery mode, my phone is now listed as 8.1.
My problem is that whenever I try to go on settings now, it always crashes. I did attempt to redownload the OTA and sideload it again, but that still didn't help. I'm not sure what I did wrong...
Solved: Never mind I was an idiot. Forgot that I had substranum theme on, and it didn't play well with 8.1

Hey thanks for trying to help but I figured it out. I forgot that I had substratum theme installed. That didn't like 8.1 apparently. I uninstalled it and it's working fine now
